Using psychedelics for cultivation or any other spiritual system.
mrpasserby replied to Salvijus's topic in General Discussion
IMO: Almost anyway that a practitioner can get a taste of the ethereal realm is a good way to start.IMO: The danger is if a person is unable to separate a hallucination from a *actual ethereal encounter, and or if a person has just one actual ethereal encounter of any kind and makes it into a personal religion, or writes a book on it. -

@ralisA group from Norway that fascinates me. Love what they are doing in the performance of ancient rituals. I did a little reading on how they put this together and they are close to authentic. Missed their show up in Red Rock Colorado last year due to Covid and pricey tickets. I don't like most normal music, but IMO these guys in Heilung are projecting a little more then just music.

We few, we happy few, we band of brothers, sisters and all
mrpasserby replied to Apech's topic in General Discussion
Ancient @mrpasserby bringing up the rear of the group briefly stopped his forward motion to pause and give a slight bow to @silent thunder to sincerely thank @silent thunder for the long over dew tribute to Jonah. Stating: In my experience: He has been a somewhat unwilling gate guardian, sitting upon his magical shading plant while judging those who would enter the 5th gate for at least the last 2 millennium, according to the historical documents called the bible. Smiling his tootles smile he continued: who knows what destiny changes you may have brought about by your kind thoughts. Then marking the direction of the group, @mrpasserby hobble on to Ketchup the rest of the group who where passing to near to Mc Donalds, for his home cooked taste. -

@mrpasserby suddenly came to a stop and then he waved everyone else on. With a roar, before him appeared a giant nebulas form, some of the group looked back to where the sound came from, then they shouted a demon. @mrpasserby , could be seen rapidly making some sort of hand sigils/mudras, and then the demon quickly changed form, into a little bent over white haired old man, who suddenly through up his hands and then brought them back down in a sign of disgust, then he limped away, and a bright opening appeared. @mrpasserby looked back at the rest of the group, and seeing that @zerostao, @Nungali, @blue eyed snake, @Nintendao, @silent thunder, @C T, @natural were the ones that had noticed, while @steve , @dwai , @natural , @zerostao, @steve, @old3bob, @Vajra Fistjoined by @awaken dreaming ,@Apech and @Bindihad continued on. @mrpasserby yelled back don't worry I will be along soon, I am just going to show, @questionmark, what's inside of this earth gate. @questionmark seamed to hesitate to go through the gate, so @mrpasserby turned away and they both just hurried forward to catch up with the group. -

Apech, Thanks for the friendly invitation. I remember one of my first posts in the Dao Bums was to complement you on the beauty of your cats avatar picture. I like reading the posts, and getting advancement ideas from everyone's posts. I have struggled with the difficulty of expressing/sharing the workings of my path, in normal language. For instants I tried to explain/share part of my path through: story form, then in Neidan terms (epic fail), and then another part through deity yoga (didn’t even make it off of the drawing board). So after I obtained one of my goals of entering the 4th earth gate I have been sending out what I consider to be helpful transmissions. the effects of which are only observed when I receive enjoyable visits within my circle, mostly from human projectors who are able to pass their consciousness into the ethereal plane. Thanks for helping me to feel welcome in comradeship. -

Although this thread is fun I had to run, when the areas electric grid played switch back and fourth with my old grandmas desktop pc enough times I decided to just Chirp out a mark to hold the place ‘’’, meaning to return once I could count on getting the juice back up for grandmas old pc and then Chirp out my info on the unanswered question, but then others had already posted comments about my hasty comment ‘’’, and I did not want to Rune the fun of their posts, about my sudden lack of appearance on the seen. So the next night I had my avatars, sleep on the merits of the informative but uncomfortable answer, and we decided that it was two lumpy to share. -

If someone sends out a ethereal transmission, to assist in the personal growth of an individual, if no one there is able to receive it. How would you know that it was actually sent? Blue eyed snake I valued the integrity of your supportive posts when me and star jumper were both supporting the actuality of ethereal dragons that is why I am testing this circle of light question under your posted comment. -

The best thing you have learned from TDB?
mrpasserby replied to Seeking's topic in General Discussion
The following is how I discovered so much exciting stuff about my ancestors and myself thanks to TDB cultivation. The last time I was posting about TDB, there was a big deal about lineage, especially concerning the various types of practices that are credible provable in some cases because of their lineage. While growing up my physical relatives did nothing to let me know who I was or where my lineage really came from. So reading the various heart felt in-depth posts on lineage at TDB, cultivated my interest in my lineage and I began researching it on my own. I learned how much my life choices have been effected by my lineage, and why I enjoy working within what is sometimes called the unseen world of spirits. -

Thanks for the cultivation of this thread, I became inspired to share this demo to show the way that the vibrational energy/sound of the earth charkas supports our forms, enjoy Lol.

Moved here from post:""" @exorcist_1699 said: It is a very common rule in Nei Dan. 'Different schools think differently about this, but one of the most popular ideas is the 100 days foundation practice, three years to build the embryo, and nine years to form the "body outside of the body," and this assumes you are practicing very seriously. If practicing casually, it can take even longer, or never happen at all." I have been enjoying comparing Taoist Nei dan, to the training of my youth. building the form outside the body has not been mentioned in any of the post that I have read until know. With this information things are starting to even out in my comparison between the inner creation and the outer, style or Neidan and what I learned. The inner I call the functional spirit body and the outer body when it if fully functional I am now calling a *wing man, there is a **myth of a famous mage who had 6 wing men one of which had the mage's enchanted (quickened to reside on spirit and physical plans) sword stored within his/her manifested body. This is really good cultivation for me, to know that others know how to create what sounds to be basically the same type of functional spirits (howbeit with the added possibility of manifesting physical bodies also). Thanks * a wingman (is called such) because while maturing and receiving energy from his spirit connection to the matured inner functional spirit body of the Neidan practitioner, he is externally tethered to his host. **(if anybody knows the location of the words to this famous myth please comment)

It seems silly; me answering my own question, but this post also brings the thread to the four front as dwai suggested it be viewed from time to time. That said, in my latest round of cultivation on other threads, I discovered IMO the answer to my question about the tiger, pictured above, and that is it represents the kinetic, energy that is necessary to continue the flowing movement within the micro orbit, and the external orbits. I also noted that the general text with the picture while unreadable to me, seemed to lean toward depicting the wielding/flowing of the energy of creation between a man and a woman, ON both the physical and ethereal planes of existence, at first I read into the symbolism only my focus of Non-physical tantra, but later I could also surmise a physical component being hinted at by the information as it is presented, the pearl (Mysterious Pearl) representing both the woman's egg and the ethereal pearl subsequent to creating a functional spirit body. “Golden Elixir is another name for xing and ming” – Liu Yiming

After properly reading the essay, so that I could enjoy posting in the thread. I can say that there is no other emoticon that signifies discomfort. I have mentioned that I would delete any posts that were considered uncomfortable by others and I will change this emoticon as well. Reason: the first few pages of the essay were not clear to me and your comment "Comments welcome but please read this essay properly first!" caused me much discomfort because of the amount of effort that I usually put into properly reading anything. I am a doer not much of a reader, and at first, I wanted to stop reviewing the essay in its entirety without making any posts. But reading the excellent posts I thought that I should try to post some of my related experiences after studying the terminology and cultivating in and around Taoist Neidan for the past 3 years. -

Another, big thanks to the cultivation within this thread: I connected the lower and middle levels of growth to my ilks initiations: In my lineage, these lower level and middle level are called initiations, each one preceded by a challenge to overcome, and then an increase/*gift that also has to be earned, so a challenge to overcome in the front and a gift that has to be earned in the back. In another thread, I posted about one who made it to what is being called the middle level (30 years), which is a functional ethereal body that can traverse the ethereal plane. *the gifts are not usually discerned by a person's physical senses but in the formless state, they become available. -

*To cultivate the real while living in the vulgar, to exit the world while dwelling in the dust, you should first awaken to your xing. (in my experience: we call it creating a functional spirit body, to be used, to gain experience within the ethereal planes, and coming into contact with others who are doing the same) This is one of my favorite pics because it depicts so much of the required energy exchanges simultaneously going on within as the spirit/xing interacts with the physical/ming, both primordial and future real energies can be easily imagined to be involved in the exchange and the inverted exchange: the creative ethereal energies working together producing the 10k things and others being readied to become forms as the clouds of stardust/flux within the enveloping wrappings of the emerging waveforms molecular structure. Then as all the balanced actions are naturally accruing and manifest the central IM is shown as being current to the central balance and dispensing of the light energies to invoke the cultivation of the raw forms. My several decades of experience processing energies are within another lineage, and because the teachings have been mostly eliminated from the physical plane I have chosen to express what I can share within Taoist Neiden terminologies. Thanks to the added cultivation of this thread I can now add the information that expresses to me a deeper version of what this pic represents what I believe to be called the Cinnabar Field, which is within my new Deeper understanding of the terminology that represents the central dan ten, called by me the solar heart. In my experience: the act of assisting a student to move forward is paramount, in order for me to begin my higher levels of understanding, the training process of one student must be completed by me and the breath of life (I believe to be called the Golden Elixir) had to be issued by me in a ceremony. I have posted the actual experience of this startup ceremony of a student in my ilk within another thread. . **Apr 20, 2019 - In Daoism Xing and Ming are two interrelated concepts that can be understood in a variety of ways. ... Focusing only on xing, he says, makes it impossible to manifest the “pervading” power of Spirit (shentong 神通), by which he seems to refer to the supernatural knowledge of aspects of the sensible world (in the sense of Buddhist abhijñā, that is, in order to comprehend or to renounce them, according to their kind); focusing only on ming may grant long life, but not transcending the world: If you only cultivate your xing and do not cultivate your ming, after your body dies your Nature becomes a yin spirit (yinshen), and you cannot manifest the pervading power of Spirit. However, analogously to Li Daochun, Wang Jie emphasizes the priority of xing over ming, and states that by knowing one’s xing one can also know one’s ming: To cultivate the real while living in the vulgar, to exit the world while dwelling in the dust, you should first awaken to your xing. 在俗修真,居塵出世,當以悟性為先。 In cultivating the real, xing is the first principle; as you see your xing, you do the work for refining your ming. 101 100 Huanzhen ji, 2.5b. The Jungian Shadow Theory: Practical Applications
mrpasserby replied to Giles's topic in General Discussion
Jungs shadow theory, IMO his purpose was to let fly in the face of those who could receive its practical application, the use of the watered-down version of the information that he had gleaned from his understanding of the ancient meanings found in the ethereal realms collections of comments which are, that IMO: when it comes time for a sentient being to gain a physical body, it is necessary to split the ethereal version of the gray matter into two parts forming a negative/positive spirit and then letting them mentally duke it out so that they both are strengthened. My support for those who admit to and admire nonverbal communication In my experience: when working in the ethereal realms, we have a saying ( ), this bit of nonverbal communication very much supports everyone broadening their horizons- when leaning into the infrastructure of the ethereal realm, in my experience: much understanding can be gained and can be obtained by not expressing in words deeper meanings when they can be better understood by those who are able to receive them nonverbally.
