Josh, are you sure that you have no lineage. My lineage was hidden from me, by my relatives. While practicing various forms of magic I started looking around, for some sort of connection to my ancestors and discovered what is called the London spell in a book by gordon white. I adapted the spell to suite my needs (always a must). The short of it is after I connected to the genius loci of London I was approached by a coven of blue faced welsh witches who had been looking for a relative of mine for decades (I assured them that the relative had passed away, and was no longer interested in returning to England) in payment for the information about my relative (which set them free to focus on the future, instead of walling in past glories), the witches gave a download of info. that cleared up why I have always been a mage, it was because of lineage.

Thanks Josh, reading this thread has been most refreshing. I am a mage in america, but with deep english lineage. I have been studying taoists practices that relate to mine, particularly internal energy moving and (Neidan) and cultivating here on TDBs for quite some time. The haising that you have attracted so far is not unsimilar to the one that I attracted at first, except that yours has been quite spectacular so far and I am only up to reading page 4 on this weather magic thread. In my normal magical practice I participate in unseen world travels, I have only found it necessary to produce localized whether events on a couple of occasions, but only as a side line to aid other magical workings to unfold properly. As time allows I will study the other dozen or so pages of this thread, and post more comments (tea time).

I also read and enjoyed the story about Moses and Khidr, do you know of any other stories of gate travelers, gate guardians. Example: Balemm (Balem a Mage working for himself (IMO he was a master of self)) he went to put a curse on Israel for money, when he was about to go through a gate (implied), a angel of the god of israel made him back down)paraphrased) in the old testament this story is one of 2 that implies something to do with gates that I know of (the other is Jona (he tried to be masterles, but failed) so he sits down (at the gate, implied) to judge the members of a certain city, as they enter), (in the new testament (straight is the gate and narrow is the way and few there be that find it,'paraphrased'). A funny thing happened to my Shaman traveling cloak while crossing the river styx. The hem of my cloak got some of the earth's black blood on it, so when I went to visit some heckta witches in nova scotia, they wouldn't let me come closer then the end of their really long driveway. Ever science then my nickname in some circles has been 'Mrpasserby'. When telling jokes about visitors to their circles, everyone holds their noses and says 'He passed us by', over the years these jokes didn't seem to get old for some, until one member of a prestigious circle posted me a invite and then nearly passed out when my Shaman traveling cloak wafted by to closely filling the room with odorous Nostalgia . I am back from checking out earth chr/gate 4, what did I miss? Once again I have to give a big thumbs up to DBs. I never would have though to ask any questions, about this topic "why-do-you-think-the-world-is-so-messed-up". In my search for information having to do with entering the 4th earth chk I discovered a possible answer to the above *^#^question. The following info is only relevant if a person believes that the earth has a living spirit. I was convinced of this when I was young. That said: many earth chakras are generally mentioned but in my experience: the only ones directly reverent to this supposition that the earth is messed up is chk1 through chk4. I say this because when I was young I tried to pass from chk2 to chk3 and I was directly informed of chk2/gate being messed up by the gate guardian poking me in the head with his (@#$%^## staff). Then when trying to do a end run around chk2/gate through chk3/gate I discovered to my dismay that the vibrational influence (a point of power and connection-the focal point/gate, entrance) of chk3/gate was no longer their (within the unseen world), this could have something to do with the sinking of atlantis, I don't know (there are experts on the subject of atlantis in thes forum). This missing note of the earths song/vibration is relevant to the entire story of my life 7 decades long. So the short of it is now that chk3/gate is up and running, and with me having passed through it, I am on to chk4. Back ground comments: At a early age I discovered that the earth had lost the use of one of its chks/gates for what appeared to me to have been a very long time would be the answer to the question: 'why do you think that the world is so messed up'. I have come to know/understand that we as people need to be influenced/balanced by at least the first 4 earth chks so that we can transcend to at least the happy level that we were made to live at chk4 (green gate, garden of eden, jade emperor, etc...). Like strings on a guitar these gigantic earth chakras vibrate and in-power our tiny matching chk strings and keep us in tune. I just got back from a several month exploration of world gate four. Did I miss something?

I tried to make a joke and failed so badly that it had to laugh. Then I was told that if I would only stop looking and sounding like I was going to a funeral, then people would laugh at my jokes.

In my experience: once a higher gate/Loka is entered into, the changes achieved to self, can sometimes manifest as siddhis in the lower realms, these siddhis seem to be a byproduct of the persons spirit attainment, not any exceptional physical efforts.

It is good to hear, such powerful comments as this one. In my experience: developing the lower powers and applying them, is essential to the formation/connecting to functional spirit form, that will then be able to carry a intelect through the world gates. I have heard that in order to pass through the world gates, it sometimes mite require leaving behind some or all of the lower powers/siddhis in order to experience other available powers.

In my experience: not everybody has the same or any demonstrable talents, and not everybody can receive all that can be reveled. That said, I would just think that I was crazy, if I hadn't early on been tested and Initiated, by physical masters within the lower physical reals.

#s1va, thanks for this information, it is clear to me that Brahman is the only permanent unchanging source of the universe, while all other energies are Not permanent and constantly changing. this is with the caveat that this changing can in some cases last billions of years like our earth or even the pyramids that have lasted many thousands of years.
