Flat earth, in my opinion, is a deliberate attempt at shattering a paradigm in favor of establishing faith-based willpower. The geometrical interpretation of spacetime can be bent into lots of different equally valid models. The one that fits into classical physics is of course to admit anything other than spherical bodies is bullshit, and I do believe that Buzz Aldrin is not making stuff up to get paid off. So anyway... welcome to the site!!

If you're taking sleeping pills, please check the ingredients for diphenhydramine, and if present never eat it again. -

Singing Meditation to heal and protect Heart (Chakra)
Nintendao replied to 2ndchance's topic in General Discussion
(K/J/C)-Pop is a nickname for the (Korean/Japanese/Chinese) Pop Music genera with characteristically "sparkly" enthusiasm. I found it serendipitous that @2ndchance posted this, as i only recently got into some C-Pop over my favorite New Years celebration song (also coincidentally it's going to be the year of the pig, Zen Pig!) So, funny story about this song.. in the chorus they keep saying "kuai-le"(快乐), which at first sounded to me just like "gwei-lo". When i found what that means i was like: Are they really singing to a white dude?? Turns out "kuai-le" means like "happy tune." What a mantra to dispel negativity for sure! "Xinnian kuaile" (新年 快乐) "Newyears Joy" to all you bums and bumettes ☮️ -

One bum's panacea may righteously be another's poison. Should a tiger convince a cow the benefits of eating meat? Arguing over the best way to chop down a tree with a paintbrush is only a disservice to the paintbrush. If in the end such a debate has become the perfect distraction, and the tree is left to grow on its own, then we all sit happily in its shade after all.

So in other words he'd fit perfectly with a great many other North American religion ministers today I still find his shows fun and extremely informative, for what it is. Will not be drinking the kool-aid for sure (could not afford it regardless!) If maverick maven magicians hawking elaborate incense altars is not your cup of tea, Yun Xiang Tseng is still doing a good job bringing the official Wu Dang concept in Colorado.

What happens . . . if Chi is directed into the 3rd eye (?)
Nintendao replied to Lataif's topic in Daoist Discussion
The reflecting pool must be very calm and still in order to have a proper mirror surface for detecting subtlety. Deploying the will to stir it up only caused delusion. Of course, splashing around in puddles is natural and fun way to learn, heheh. To make the moonlight dance by rippling the water is nice looking geometry, but to think the moon is really moved by that, well, noway jose. -
How to retain as much qi as possible in the body?

That's great!! Samo Hung is outrageous as always, but the Lam Ching Ying scenes contain some pretty bona fide Wing Chun ✿ -

What are qi channels/meridians made out of?
Nintendao replied to yuuichi's topic in Daoist Discussion
What is the difference between a hand and a foot? Strictly compositionally speaking, they are virtually identical, so to define them by what they are made of is limited. What do they do is determined by where they are located in the body, and by finer details of over all shape and nature. What you do with them, is a matter of motives. Qi is everywhere. It is, most simply, movement. Fascia/collagen plays such a high profile role in identifying meridians because it is the connective chain along which movement propagates. This is only part of the story. -
