    To answer your questions: 1) I am willing to sacrifice time (2-3) hours per day 2) whatever I need to. I will do penance to limit this however 3) I will never be without ‘power’. I am not saying this to be arrogant, what I mean is that without the exact powers I mentioned here, I will surely gain power through other means, even if they are as simple as abiding by dharma to the best I can

    My reading in tantra has ranged from new age thinkers (Swami Rama, Muktananda, Avadhoota Nadananda, Narayan Dutt Shrimali, etc.) to actually reading some of the tantras and their commentaries. As far as practice goes, I have done Mantra Sadhanas from beginner to advanced levels.

    The only reason I was hesitant when faced with “costs” such as bad health, is that I want to be considerate of what I am dealing with. In magick and tantra, certain rituals exist to give you powers, however they are very bad karma, and can kill you. This is why I was concerned about this

  22. Meditation and Brain Waves

    As I’m sure many of you have read, ones brain waves change during the course of meditation. In Kosta Danos’ book Nei Kung: Teachings of the Warrior Sages, he explains this. He says that meditation begins in the Theta state, however a powerful meditator can enter into Delta as well. He then continues to explain how his master (John Chang) has gone into a deeper state where his body was in. Suspended Animation for many weeks. Can you guys elaborate on this. What is the brain wave level during suspended animation? What about Gamma and Alpha waves? What are your experiences?
