For whose who know me on this forum, I am known for “hogging” information from kind people without returning the favor. I just found an amazing book however, which is quite rare and it covers a variety of topics, from mirror scrying to magnetism and remote influence. Title says it all. I would really like a simple explanation of the countless branches of magick from Enochian to Chaos, etc. I tried reading up on it, but would appreciate some simple definitions of the numerous types, and their functions.

I have observed that Vallar has been an individual who has garnered great respect on multiple forums, this one included. I know a fair bit about him, because half of my family is from Tamil Nadu, his hometown. I have not visited his samadhi, but by father has. Anyway, I have heard countless stories of his greatness, including that he possessed all Siddhis, and had the Hindu equivalent of the Rainbow Body. Numerous mysteries exist surrounding this, especially because his physical body disappeared one day. Some say he has gone to the Himalayas and lives amongst the siddhas...

I have seen this book before, was debating I should read it, or The History of Magick by eliphas Levi. Do you know about that one?

During a PM exchange with a certain member on this board, I was quite frankly surprised that he/she asked me to create another “14 page long spam thread” in response for more information. Now I’m sure most of you don’t share this persons values, but I was just surprised whether this forum amongst many others, relishes “14+” page threads emanating off genuine inquiries.

Well this question is right up the alley of something I would ask! But, in response, as far as Hinduism goes many mantras exists to protect one from ghosts and psychic attacks. They are called Kavach mantras, and they exists for various deities.
