  4. Which books sit on your nightstand?

I will read more about Orwell, he is among the greats. Another good and weird book: Whatever from Houellebecq
  5. Which books sit on your nightstand?

This summer I have read two books of the great George Orwell: animal farm and 1984. Everybody should read him.
  6. What is your favourite exercise?

Is it good for the pelvis?
  7. An qiqong for gases and nausea?

I would recommend you fragrant qigong for digestive issues. It improves circulation in the stomach area and it induces natural fasting
  8. Hahaha come on, he can't even give orgasms without a distance, much less at a distance. Lol
  9. Yesterday I went to a qigong class. The teacher taught a daoist meditation technique very simple and powerful. I think she said it was called "the breath of the wind" but i am not sure. You just had to sit cross legged in the standard position with palms up. Inhaling through the nose and looking 45 degrees up, and exhaling through the mouth and looking 45 degrees down, always with the eyes closed. She said that if we did that we would have more vivid and realistic dreams. And it is true. I have had a very vivid nightmare as I never had before. I saw a demon touching me while i was sleeping. I could see him, feel him and even hear him. Who was this f... demon? I think i will not do this med again as i am prone to have nightmares. But now i am curious about other taoist meds so simple and powerful as this one. Do you know any to share here? And does anybody know this technique?
  10. No more right-wing bullshit.

It is not very moral to ban people because of their ideas. That is discrimination and sectarism. It shows a total lack of respect and toleration for those with different views
  11. No more right-wing bullshit.

That is why i suggest to avoid politics here
  12. No more right-wing bullshit.

But is that a political forum? I think it would be better to forget politics a little bit here. Just avoid it and focus on spirituality and the like. To ban and discriminate people because of their political opinions is very dangerous. Think well about this. There will always be different opinions. History tells us about countries that have done this in the past (discrimination based on ideology), and the lesson is not very nice
  13. Qigong or taichi?

Sorry to ask such a question but I can't help it . what do you think is better in the long run for developing health and energy, qigong or taichi? I know it is also a very generic and abstract question, as there are many different types of qigong and even of taichi. But what is your opinion about that?
  14. The I of the storm

Nice text, thanks for sharing. Have you found out who is the observed or who is the observer? Sounds a bit scary
  15. What happens to suicides?

Be strong friend. And let me quote a spanish poet: "What is life? A frenzy. What is life? An illusion, a shadow, a fiction; and the greatest good is small; that all life is a dream, and dreams are dreams." Hope it helps
  16. Everyone post some favorite quotes!

"the world is nothing but change. our life is only perception" (Marcus Aurelius) "When you wake up in the morning, tell yourself: The people I deal with today will be meddling, ungrateful, arrogant, dishonest, jealous, and surly. They are like this because they can't tell good from evil" (Marcus Aurelius)

  20. Taoist meditation techniques

Thanks Walker, fantastic response. I do agree it is important to have refreshing and dreamless sleep. So I really think this technique is not optimal for beginners. Probably an error from the teacher, who i don't deem very serious. She was also very eager on receiving her money after the class. Although this seems to be a generic property of qigong teachers here in Europe. All i know are like that
  21. Taoist meditation techniques

I couldn't agree more, especially after having seen the ugly demon

  24. Taoist meditation techniques
