The point of Mo Pai never was physical immortality. Even Bodhidharma, and Chang Sen Fang who are said to have reached level 72 also grew old and died. As far as out of body experiences, they are nothing more than hallucinations or dreams. It is only when you can effect reality outside of your own mind that it can be said to be more than a delusion.

Fantasy stories, overstretched claims? Like running faster than the speed of light, teleporting to other galaxies, shooting eye lasers, having a harem of goddesses, opening portals to kill 100,000 year old Naga demons? At least John provided us with some evidence.

You were the one that announced you were leaving the site and never coming back. As far as delusions go, you claim to have a harem of goddesses, shoot eye lasers, travel faster than the speed of light, open portals to other worlds to fight ancient 100,000 Naga demons, etc.

He also had cancer. He fell and caused a brain bleed.

I was being sarcastic, but people who think they are immortal aliens who control the weather aren't people we can even begin to help.

As an example John's teacher supposedly slaughtered an entire village of people. While he did regret his actions afterwords that didn't prevent him from supposedly being a mass murderer and fleeing China to settle in Indonesia to escape the Chinese authorities. John's teacher reached a level far beyond what John himself did even.

We provide the instructions John gave to Jim and Kosta without alternation, nothing more and nothing less. If someone comes to us claiming to be a clairvoyant, negligibly senescent, humanoid alien, that can control the weather we would probably introduce them to Jeff McDuffie, James Van Gelder and Shifu Lin as they are better equipped to deal with such "beings".

What we practice isn't a "spiritual" practice, it is just a technology. It does not make you a better person, or bring you equanimity, inner peace, boundless compassion or radiant wisdom.

When I was 13 my father gave me some sage advice, "don't have sex with someone if you feel that they are crazy". Every time I have gone against this advice it has resulted in horrific consequences. That is Karma in action.

As far as I can tell the spiritual community as a whole draws out the crazies. Have you ever been to a dedicated occult forum? It is truly cringe worthy how broken some of these people are.

Technology would be a better description. If I demonstrate how to use a bow tool to make fire using tinder and sticks, this is a form of technology. Others can follow the same method exactly and achieve the same results. No one is required to hold any "belief", it is simply a matter of following the instructions and observing the result.

I don't know, these are just anecdotal reports. Most of the psychiatric cases I have heard of were from people who thought they could already summon demons and shoot fireballs so it is hard to say what role (whatever it was they actually practiced yet called "Mo Pai") played in the progression of their preexisting condition.

It is hard to know if their ailments are actual or psychosomatic. Some have been institutionalized with psychosis by practicing MCO and Mo Pai together. Some have ignored the safety precautions and claimed to have torn open their LDT, resulting in debilitating pain. Those are just two examples, but there have been many more. Then Mo Pai is held up as the causative factor, and blamed for their illness.

Every known instance of people getting injured with regards to Mo Pai boiled down to incorrect practice. There are those who read Shifu Lin, James Van Gelder, and Jeff McDuffie's, etc. instructions and get injured because that is not what was taught, and then they blame Mo Pai when they are hospitalized. Some choose to ignore the safety precautions which must be followed, because they don't believe their is any risk to their health and then blame Mo Pai when they are hospitalized. Others choose to blend practices together because they are eclectic, and believe they can create a new and improved practice by doing so, they too blame Mo Pai when they are hospitalized. In all of these instances the people are not following instruction exactly, and are doing something different. We do not want the liability both legally and karmically for being involved with such people. If you want to mix, match, and blend together practices you will need to speak with someone else.
