Sumer: the "black-headed" vs. the "red-faced"

Hi Spotless, Are you saying that anger is unncessary or may be unnatural? If not, in what cases do you use it?
-
Could be for perspective, though i think that in of itself is putting it in a box. Not insulting the idea, just saying that its more of a non thought process sometimes. People want to experience/put themselves in others' shoes for perspective. but they want to do it through thinking. Through 'undersatanding'. Through acting. Which is kinda silly, because it's like a very disingenuous way of trying to understand someone else's life and experience with a very limited pov. Why not just experience it to experience it, no judgment nothing. for no purpose. and if you end up judging, so what you're human. So i do believe its possible to put yourself in other people's shoes, and actually understand. Though i think it's rare. Bc to understand means you understand the subtle maybe slightly deeper parts that lead to the external conclusions. Which is an ability of itself, that would take development from an early age or massive undevelopment at a later age. I have to admit though, that this may come much easier for empathic people. (so not by choice) Initially, that's how it started for me. It's what you told me a while back. i just wanted to experience this life with no consequences. no ill will towards anyone, just want to live it with the joy of our true being. If there is any merit, 4:44 synchronicity confirms this as fact

I think it's definitely a funny thing, but something not a lot of people may are aware of. The purpose of consciousness witnessing or observing of our own unconsciousness playing out is to be able to experience the emotions, feelings, and actions of the collective (since that's most likely where it comes from). Whatever one wants to decide the purpose of that is, is to each their own. You could argue that it's possible to understand the issues of the world with this alone. I think it has to do with the ability to feel, think, understand, and be without wholly/truly giving yourself into any of it.

How to sever a soul tie/energetic link with someone
welkin replied to Tryingtodobetter's topic in General Discussion
Lots of interesting and good methods shown here. Another way to look at it though, and this might be the situation, might not be. Just advising based off my own experience. You may need that person more than you think. Whether it is objectively true or not, doesn't matter. The point is you're creating that tie to the person for a variety of possible reasons. I'm going to throw one possibility out there. You might feel that this may be the last and only person you have left that can love you. And it's just too hard to let go. Sometimes when we feel that the people closest to us didn't see or accept us for who we truly were/are, we never learn to create that approval, acceptance, love... for ourselves. So we are constantly looking for it elsewhere. And even if we already feel like we love ourselves, then it could mean that we think that that alone isn't enough. Is loving ourselves really not enough though? It's already complicated enough living in a world where love/forgiveness can mean anything. Where people are both asleep and awake. Where there are agendas at play, both good and bad. The love and forgiveness we have for ourselves is more than enough. It's a sword and shield with endless insight and wisdom that would take countless lifetimes to comprehend. Yet we choose to study, experiment, understand it so slowly. Before i continue going on a tangent, if you are indeed the one keeping that tie/link, you'll be the only one to cut it if and when it is right.- 16 replies

How do I get rid of these sensations?
welkin replied to Tryingtodobetter's topic in General Discussion
Try smudging yourself and your entire house. Get rid of any entities that don't have your best interest. Another thing that worked for me was looking at myself on the black screen tv. I got an enormous amount of chills. Almost like i could identify whatever else was living inside me. I let myself feel these tingling sensations, shocks, fear, etc. Let yourself feel it, and know that it cannot hurt you. Once you realize that it can't, it will slowly go away, and tell it (yourself on tv) only that which you want, can exist inside you. -
So i was inspired to shave off my head today, very random. I believe it's due to the Mercury retrograde. Been getting lots and lots of downloads and i guess higher consciousness decided to get inspired and chop off my hair. Anyways. As a result of feeling my scalp, i realized i was pretty heavily whorling at the crown, to where my face and body felt twisted for the past couple of months. Through some energy movement, i synced the untwisting between the crown, face, and body. i felt this incredible release of my entire left side, like twisting back to neutral position. I now assume that it must be becuase i had not been putting enough general attention on the crown. Or... i'd just dealt with this since childhood and never knew i was getting twisted till now. Though most children have it and gone by the time they're in teenage development. Anyone else experience this? Know interesting info?

By better i mean like are we actually becoming more loving, accepting, understanding, aware, conscious, intuitive as a collective? I know many are, but is that enough to create that change? And is it less about the numbers more than about the actual steps or actions required to take? For some reason, i fee like most of the world is trying to push this agenda that things are getting better. And that those those who don't see that, are probably stuck mentally/spiritually in some way where they can't see it. Me being one of them. I just don't see it. I do want to point out that i try* to not create my views based off what sounds logically convincing from other people or books. Though i do listen to a lot of people and read books. So if you're going to try to find some logical justification for why it is indeed getting better, and without deeper, less 'logical' other aspects such as consciousness, objective truth, it won't be convincing enough. And yes, logic is not objective. I feel like everything happening in the world is a clear mirror of whether things are good or bad. Which in my opinion is no bueno. And if the answer is it doesn't matter because all shall pass. Well what happens if we just nuke ourselves into extinction, ai is created and takes over etc. So therefore we're still not supposed to do anything? Okay, well what about the people who did 'something/everything' so that you could have your rights? Or those who created the technology one uses today. Or the countless of other things that creates the benefits or prevents the destruction of what we have today? So if i were born in Martin Luther King's time, and he felt divinely inspired to change the world. Am i to tell him, 'that stuff doesn't matter, it shall pass or evolve into something else anyways. Don't go making your life stressful to the point where someone wants to assassinate you.' Idk if this will make sense to everyone. But in Bruce lee philosophy as well as in soccer, the best defense is the best offense. The way Daoist perspective on the things i'm describing are given (At least when explained by just anyone.), it's like everything is defense. The problem with only acting through defense in sports is you just lose or die slowly. Which i feel like is what's happening now. I want to say i have not read any daoist texts, for personal reasons, but it doesn't mean i don't intend to. This is just a part of 'my' process. So i may be missing certain ideas or may not convey them in how it's recognized through the text. But the point is i'm sure there can a great difference between someone's interpretation of the text and the message the original text is trying to create. Of course we're doing 'something' by spreading certain teachings to more and more people. But is it in any comparison to how quickly the opposing ignorant way of living is growing? So is the world getting better? Are we doing the right thing by not pushing for more? People always say we are moving in the right direction etc. But something like knowing if the world is going in the right direction, is highly subjective to what the person's opinion of right direction is. which applies to all of us of course. However, I'm questioning if are we living through a current idea that may have fooled an entire species?

Better for those who come here and are almost immediately outcasted by the world they grow into. Because usually those are the ones who wish they could experience the world to the fullest without limitations, without stomping on anyone else's toes and on top of that with everyone else. Because they are the ones who even with the possibility of abusing power, are less likely to abuse it, because it's about not having power. Because there's nothing to defend against or rule over. which is in opposition to the ideas the world has lived through till this day. if one believes that everything that happens in the world is entirely in flow, then there is no argument. As therefore one would have to accept that both light and dark are to sides of the same coin. Then those who feel the divine or unstoppable urge to do something in opposition to what currently exists is also part of the flow. Objectively speaking, from God perspective, maybe nothing is good or bad. Because one views it from the highest point. But i'm not sure one should apply that to every situation especially if living in physical reality. counteractions, changes, require emotion ideas attached to it. it may be possible to label something as bad as a way of identifying what one needs to do. And that may just mean bringing things to balance. I don't believe that it's about making excuses about the world so that one can live as one chooses, becuase those who choose to awaken, will. But it's hard to deny that even if awakened, the very world we live in will continue manipulating those around us. Those whom which we are directly connected to whether we like it or not. And nonetheless does have an effect on our experience in this world.

I agree the emotional guidance system is part of the entire core. Is choosing to feel better practical though? I would say most people choose to feel better, while some don't. But how can one feel better if they don't know how to feel better. Or. How can they feel better when they are limited to what they can feel better by based off different ideas or suggestions. If one did not develop themselves to be malleable enough, one cannot develop the creativity to trust the emotional system to listen and know the solutions. Of course at the core we are higher consciousness. We are not only our minds or bodies. But does that mean those things are of any less importance in this physical timeline we're living in? At the root of it all, higher being is what one needs to remember. But to neglect the other aspects as if they are not currently a part of us currently, would be just as debilitating. As in we're born into a reality where these things do exist. Btw this is coming from someone knew early on they were not of this limited (possibly through manipulation) world. We literally have different living vessels within us, meaning our feet. We want to walk run. Our hands, we want to swing, grab, feel. Minds, want to think. All of these want to be free and go everywhere. So we of course need to bring all those things back center in to remember what is giving it its life and possibility of reaching beyond our immediate physical space. Since they tend to constantly be trying to run away from our center. A lot of people need a box life in order to feel safe and know they exist in this world. And that's okay, because that's what we're taught. I'm just suggesting changing the box to where it has the necessities in order to uncover a life outside the box.

that moment when everything I just wrote gets erased due to refreshing.... fml Had a lot of reasoning behind my suggestion. now it'll just be another suggestion lol. are you doing cardio exercise. Running. etc.? That alone with whatever other practices you are doing may be all it takes. I've complicated solutions for myself countless times. Usually things always go back to simplicity. And a lot of times simplicity is what we don't want to do. Exercise being one of them for a lot.. In my opinion a certain base point of cardiovascular health and consistency is required to live a healthy life. They are just things you can't attain without putting in the work in specific actions such as exercise. I mention exercise because i don't believe anyone else did. And i don't mean purposeless exercising. I'm talking you have fitness goals, learning the correct biomechanics, breathing, and muscle usage. Which can be completely different than someone who just goes out to run. i always suggest this to everyone, because i believe that we are of course our bodies. And changes don't happen without the required force. And sometimes you need to breakdown the body because whatever you're trying to change is hidden deeply. So you need to keep stabbing at the layers. Of course meditation and practice is one way. But it's not the same as exercise. Your body will want to give up of course, because it believes it's dying. Because it's working so hard to continue doing what you want it to do. And yet, you're still able to go. So are you yourself telling yourself to give up or is it the 'thing' telling you that? And it's not even against you. It just wants to protect itself from suffering and dying. That 'thing' while we exercise may be directly connected to the very suppressed emotions that are hidden in the physical body. So usually that thing will constrict the body from breathing/moving correctly, therefore creating the idea that it's dying because it's so hard. And many times, that 'thing' won't even rise up, because you may very well be healthier. That means it takes you going further to find that thing you can't find. Once you hitting a the 'i'm tired', breaking point, that's when the underlying ones many times arise, and then that's your opportunity to identify it with physical feeling as well as emotional, as you will be mad for having to do this. If you don't know who David Goggins is, check him out. Though this man doesn't have everything figured out, and maybe much less than masters or high practitioners. He's figured out something genuine and maybe something a lot of high practitioners will never understand because they aren't willing to go through the fire. I aologize ahead of time if things don't make sense. I rushed through this one, due to having deleted my entire first post :/ #art #nature #exercise # meditation

Is it possible to feel the chi of other person?
welkin replied to Scholar's topic in Daoist Discussion
If the other person was adept at moving energy, then you would be able to feel 'chi'. If the other person can't transfer that strongly, then it would also depend on how adept you are yourself at sensing it. If you're asking if it is real, it is 100% real. When i first started began experimenting with energy, someone i know said they couldn't feel it. I told them to relax and sleep. I was then able to slightly move their feet while touching their leg. That's what proved it to me. As far as messing with that stuff, I'll tell you what i was told on here a while back. Chill out on it. We're talking about karma, transferring energy, health. Take your time and learn how to work with it. -
Vagus nerve injuries and abdominal breathing
welkin replied to Encephalon's topic in General Discussion
Thank you for this Unfortunately there's also a lot more to fixing the vagus nerve than abdominal breathing and mind body connection. In fact, i wouldn't even call it mind body connection. I would argue that the entire head has neurological connections that may represent the body in a parallel way. To go even deeper, you could argue that the body is actually the brain of the head. Not vice versa The head is a computer finding identity, and unfortunately identifies by the things our body experiences. So it can be as simple as abdominal breathing if you haven't had injuries, emotional/psychological trauma, etc etc. Or.. it can be as complex as learning to reestablish neurological pathways between the head and body, learning to relax face, and breathe with all the parts of the body between neck and hip. Something i recently realized was that my left side breathing was mostly affected by incorrect breathing due to the tension and constant utilization of the muscles under the jaw bone, face, and tongue. There were a ton of things that i tried to fix in the body and face. With small incremental improvements. Through a ton of testing, it was the neurological fixing of the under jaw muscles, scalene, tongue, and diaphragm that made the difference. -
Found this interesting resource for correct usage of muscles during almost all exercise movements. A good resource to learn muscle/body usage and strengthen/correct neurological patterns in order to mitigate unnecessary tightness and blockages. okay John Lennon.. I say you're a dreamer, and definitely the only one I'm done. To the op, apologies!

'entertaining'. I don't have to say much more. You are one of a dozen people who post consistently now, only as a result of several people leaving the forum whom kept you with your tail in between their legs. In fact, you decided to go cry to the owner of the forum like a kid telling the teacher who did this or that. And.. are actually the one constantly arguing petty ideas with multiple people, therefore actually being the one who's entertaining. #facts.

appearing educated doesn't hide truth, fyi. if anything it can hide it just as well as reveal it. And if there is no truth in the situation brought up, then i must be blind. either way, i'm moving on. whether you do or not, will be obvious. Edit: as i stated "will be obvious". And.. it was. Spread your hidden or not so hidden ego to all your future students. At least the world will move on without having blinked or taken notice.

no personal issues. the difference has already been made and continuing. let things go is the message. I think you are qualified actually. Just going a lot by traditional thinking. all good

how original

Be wary of who you get help from on here. You'll realize that their advice sadly has other intentions attached. You might get the feeling that they're trying to teach you in a manner that brings themselves up. A wannabe master who cries to their own masters about petty things they deal with. If you don't see it yet, you will. It's quite consistent .
