Thanks Steve. It was my intent to edit my reply in order to format it like this.

Thank you Grandfather Logray. ππ»

Somewhat odd is the fact that I made another post in Current Events & I was able to edit it for a typo but on returning to the first post, I was still unable to reformat it.

From what I've seen of this forum, the modding is now excellent, so I think that you can rely on the management to point out and enforce the boundaries should you inadvertently or deliberately transgress them.

I've just made my first post in Current Events (which, incidentally, seems to be a really interesting section of this forum & one in which I'll probably spend most of my time here) & I discovered that I was unable to edit it to reformat my reply. Could you therefore check if I have editing privileges regarding my own posts in this section please?

I dontβt understand Chinese, so I'd be very happy if you'd be kind enough to enlighten me.

I'll pick that question up in my PPD thread (Inner Light & Inner Sound).

Congratulations awaken! ππ» You're the first person on this site who's managed to get onto my ignore list. Goodbye. ππ»

You really need to learn English and its associated cultural norms if you want to teach in English, as your reply makes it clear that you completely misunderstood what I wrote thereby falling into the logical fallacy of strawman argumentation. Furthermore, from what I've observed, your poor grasp of English (and it's associated cultural norms) is an ongoing and major flaw in your attempt to teach your method to those who are not fluent in your own language (and its associated cultural norms). Hope that's clear or that someone else will explain it to you in a way that you're able to comprehend...

As I've previously stated, the inner light is not mine. It is impersonal. I've started a thread here , in order to resolve our curent misunderstanding (instead of cluttering up the Buddhist forum).

Thank you again Trunk. ππ»

As I've attempted to explain previously, inner light is not produced by practices. However, some practices certainly give access to inner light (e.g. anapanasati). Incidentally, it's probably also worth stating that there are simpler & easier methods to access inner light than your method of spontaneous qigong (or anapanasati).

The Jungian Shadow Theory: Practical Applications
Giles replied to Giles's topic in General Discussion
Looks extremely interesting, as there are many different perspectives. Thanks Trunk. ππ» -
Understanding this theory is an invaluable tool for some people because alongside accessing and integrating the shadow comes the insight that it's not just dark, it's also golden. Integrating the Shadow can also be seen as analogous to what some religions label enlightenment. The practical application of this understanding is what leads to access and integration.
