Thanks for the reply - what i wrote about the ldt wasnt clear - What i should have written is : if somehow the cold water driking can effect the building process of the dantian ? i wonder if the fact im thirsty a lot especially when i eat means i have some health issue that chinese medicine knows about - or is it just purely a bad habit -
@idiot_stimpy true it is , with being with the pain and accepting it , by doing your chours without wanting them to end - to be fully washing the dishes to do your job without waiting for the clock to tick ................. but what about the moment where you need to make a more complex decision ? how do you do it than ?

how to "go with the flow" and make "perfect" decisions ?

@silent thunder what can you say about finding ones balance ? how to find that balance ? meditate a lot ? if so how will that help ? is the balance state what is called "going with the flow" or any other definition ? how do you "Go with the flow" ? -

silent thunder not in anger actually - vast majority of my remarks are not ( and just to be clearer not talking about any forum remarks i made but other stuff , where some are made in anger but many are not ) -

@silent thunder what would you say in case of remarking people - i tend to remark a lot to people - it seems to me as if it changes some stuff for the better after the remark but it seems im overdoing it some time , so i wonder how you find the balance ... and also is there a path without remarking ? Not sure how to ask things accurately , but im trying to get the whole "going with the flow" thingy is (as good as possible so i can implement it in as many different cases as i can) the whole "spontaneous action" thing etc ( i get the gist of the things but not in a good enough way to start to implement it in life ) -
i feel last few days when it got warm where i live a lot of vibration on my desk on the floor (and when i walk away for something like 30 minutes also vibreations in my chest , heart area - the neighbors are using some very strong air conditioner and i wonder if i feel the vibrations just cause of that cause other family members dont feel it maybe its cause im closer to the air conditiner or maybe some qigong i did caused me to be more sensitive to vibrations or maybe its some qi deviation of some sort- though i dont think thats the case - cause it does stop after an hour when im away from the room in the house where i stay at most of the day and where i feel the vibrations well

probably i didnt write it clear enough - i will try to clarify it more : im asking this as an example just to get the idea of action vs no action and also acceptance and level of acceptance of things , so my examples are not good someone can use other examples or no example at all and just explain the concept in a way i could get it better (even if not fully - better is good) also in the talk with my friend on the bus he didnt explain it like that is the reason - but just as something about him wanting to experience things and how he might in other times choose to stay with the coat on just in order to feel that heat sensation and be with it . he never said its cause he cant do something about the bumps - and the conversation started cause i lifted myself a bit up before i saw some bumps on the road which is something to do about the bumps without needing to fix them ( also i was even considering standing instead of sitting etc) -

@silent thunder "My draw to act is a natural expression of my acceptance to be an agent of action within co-arising conditions." can you expand on that or give example (/s) of that or say the same thing in different words ? -

@Welcomer can you give examples in daily life decision making ? in remarking someone about something - do you accept what he does or you remark him ? always accept other behavior never remark ? do you accept reality and everything you expirence ? and if you what is your motivation to do actions ? -

@Welcomer What exactly do you mean by " how it can flow better " ? how you define "flow better" ? -

@wstein Awesome replies like always - thanks for the extra effort Its great you put all three examples - i would like to focus on the "fully realized" The 3 examples where me trying to understand : 1 = question about when to remark people 2 = A case where i was riding a bus with an "advanced" (spiritually) friend , on a bumpy road , i was worried my back would get damaged and have pain at the end of the ride - so tried to lift myself up a bit before bumps on the road - the friend told me to just accept the pain and worries and even enjoy a back massage ,,, i did and by the end of the ride i had zero pain which was great .... yet in the ride he was sitting next to a sunny window so he took off his coat ... and that throw me off a lot and confused me , i asked him about it , and he said something along the lines of he felt like exploring the bumps thing but didnt want to deal with the heat much at the moment (emphasis on along the lines) so its a question about how far we take the acceptance and do we accept everything ( and all 3 examples are of course on the same thing and are squished togther - cause you can say not wearing a coat in a hot place can be an issue of health like the chocolate example , and it can be an example of when to accept for example another person putting the temperature of a room too high (with the air-conditioner) ) 3 = about when to do actions that are purely for fun even if its not in order to help others or help myself so i can help others (for example eat a salad so im healthy so i dont get sick and than i wont be able to help others) * in general im trying to figure understand more about disicon making and acceptance of events in life (vs acting to change them) -
sensitivity to viberation cause of qigong practice ?

@idiot_stimpy like shaking , like movments of a washing machine , like people feel in a weak earthquake , my desk table for example feels like it moves a tiny bit left the tiny bit to the right (its not moving visibly to the eye it just feel like it) -

@wstein (just to say again - what you write is gold , and i get the gist of what you are saying - im trying to clarify as much as i can also your replies answer other questions i have so its nice to get that extra info - but still you gave me the main reply so feel free to stop replying even though i tag you just to make sure you see the question even if you would decide not to answer it ) so for example my neighbors is very noisy .... to remark or not to remark (and why) ? would i take of my coat when the weather gets hot ? when i eat would i take the chocolate i think is tasty or it a salad ? (and yes this are very "open" questions/examples on purpose) -

@wstein your replies are great , i get things better by each reply - but i guess i wont get a 100% answer to this outside of actual practice in daily life but i ask to get the most benefit that i can that is all - feel free to stop replying when you want what about remarking people on stuff that bother you ? same like driving ? and in the driving example and the remarking example about - when or how do you know when you are overdoing the "trying" and "achiving" ? -

Thanks a lot i needed to read that and was the main reason behind this thread - i heared that in real life but really to get confirmation it exists in a taoist forum was important for me -

@exorcist_1699 what is your view about health and buddhist practitioners ? (as opposed to daoist ones , as how a buddhist should keep his health etc etc ) -

Cause If you are 100% happy than you accept everything you experience so you accept " Ageing, sickness, disease, pain, weakness, loss of relatives " if you are truly happy .... you can sit and meditate through pain and boredom and itches and temperature and noises etc and not be bothered by them , and can meditate an hour whenever - and can work hard for others all day and be ok with it 100% every second , and all the food you buy is 100% for health reasons and not eat nothing extra thats not for your health ( that is of course just thoughts on the spot and i am not 100% sure about them - but just so you get the gist of things - maybe its still lying deep down i didnt reach that stage yet so i cant tell you for sure about it) But that is of course a very hard thing to achieve , i am trying to get there with the practice of being more accepting of everything that arises , but im trying to see where is the "middle way" of things on the road to that goal and how close i can get to that goal without breaking or without over doing it So stuff like to not do anything for fun , is something i did do for short times ( for example i think around from a few days to a month in retreats for example) but than there are thoughts about how far should i stretch things - is having the air conditioner one considered fun ? - For example driving especially to see the sunset is for fun ........ that is why i was very interested and asked @wstein about it eagerly (i still dont get it) -
Should we train barefoot in qigong ? or we must wear shoes or on some mat ? should we walk barefoot in daily life ? should we wear shoes ? when walking nature ? or wear shoes there ? cause would be a shame to lose energy in daily life too ... what are the materials that are needed to isolate ? are socks ok ? shoes ? a regular cotton synthetic mat ?

waterdrop replied to waterdrop's topic in Daoist Discussion
If im now trying to practice accepting everything in my life ............. why do i act to change stuff ? thats maybe a better question - if im now happy with everything and im happy with the temperature : should i not put the air conditioner on (Even though its 40 degrees) ? i would eat i would sleep i would drink water ... and maybe help others - but wont do anything for fun ? wont go drive a car to see the sunset ? -
When i learned zhineng qigong they talked about how they were an "open system" and if i understood correctly it means its taking energy from the universe (and giving it too ?) and soo its safter than the other systems which are mostly "closed systems" who deal with the micro orbit they said that closed systems for years work on cleaning the body and than after years when they finally "open up" than because its suddenly they can get problems like bleeding from eyes and death etc ... unlike zhineng qigong that from the start connects to the universe energy would like to hear peoples view of this topic - maybe i will get better understanding of it from that
-
I didnt do it on purpose - that was what i am trying to say - i forgot about that thread ,,, made a new one and it happend to come to me to write the title the opposite way ,,, not on purpose maybe the "universe" or whatever just meant for me to do things this way (= unknowingly write it the opposite so i wont know i already made a thread on this .so that way i will make another thread)
