  3. Stretching for mobility, flexibility, wellbeing

What is that source in Australia? I would be interested, thanks
  4. Dear all, after having practised Fragrant Qigong for more than 5 months without even skipping a day, I have decided to stop as I did not feel any benefits (at least none that were tangible for me).As easy as it was, I was also getting a bit tired of the restrictions with this qigong. I would like to practice/learn Zhineng qigong, starting of course with Level 1. I see that there are 4 forms included in level 1. My questions: 1. Do I have to do all 4 forms each time? Or can I also only do 1 form (or 2 or 3), time-depending? 2. How long does each fo the 4 forms take to do? Any other tips are always greatly appreciated. Thanks, Robert
  5. Flying Phoenix Chi Kung

Thanks sifu, that is very helpful to know. And you absolutely correct about the chiropractic angle. An osteopath once unlocked my pelvis and it made a big difference! By the way, would Monk holding Pearl also be suitable for unblocking the sacral chakra (the next chakra above the root chakra)?
  6. Flying Phoenix Chi Kung

Which FPCK meditation(s) is most suited for unblocking a blocked root chakra?
  7. Flying Phoenix Chi Kung

Thanks a lot! I will try to find the time to begin practicing some of the FP meditations then, as they seem really good from the feedback on this forum.
  8. Flying Phoenix Chi Kung

Earl Grey, do you happen to also know if FP can be practiced complimentary to sleeping qigong as thought by John Dolic, or would be contraindicated?
  9. Flying Phoenix Chi Kung

Spicyfood, are you doing all the standing meditations on the Vol.1 DVD, or just selected ones? The same question for the sitting meditations.
  10. My experience with Spring Forest Qigong

Could you elaborate what or who exactly is meant by "master" in SFQ? Is it Chunyi himself? Or is some abstract concept?
  11. Spring Forest Qigong

Any practical tips on how to reach full lotus some day? Or does it just happen one day with regular SFQ practice? What does Master Lin suggest?
  12. Thanks! Very interesting. I tried fragrant qigong for about 6 months (twice a day) and it didn't do much for me. But I know some people have had good results with it. I hope you will too.
  13. MY ODYSSEY IN EXTERNAL AND INTERNAL MARIAL ARTS

@skywalker What do you mean by the "secret method" of wild goose qigong?
  14. Physical signs that your practice is working

I was wondering if you could direct me to more info about this moon/sun breathing please? Which qigong system does this come from? Thx
  15. It's been years since this thread has been updated. Is anybody still practicing Celestial Qigong/Nei kung? Any updated experiences or insights? Thx
  16. Waist qigong

I was wondering if there is a qigong system which specifically focused on the waist/stomach area? I am not interested in it for losing a belly, etc. but rather for releasing abdominal tension which I suffer from and do not know how to release it. It causes me breathing problems. I have tried stomach smashing, but that only makes it worse. The other day I was reviewing a dvd by michael tse on wild goose qigong and he briefly mentions that people forget how important it is to release the waist. Unfortunately, wild goose does not specifically focus on stomach tension. Any ideas (besides deep abdominal breathing)? Thx
  17. Waist qigong

    Thank you very much!
  18. Waist qigong

Thanks a lot, I'll definitely check that out. I don't know this book, but it looks promising. Thanks for the suggestion. The problem is that where I live (out it in the nowhere in northern Italy), I'm not sure if I will be able to find such a practitioner. Here there are many that took just a weekend course and then offer their services in alternative practices, although not qualified at all. But I'll definitely check it out, thanks.

  20. Just started up Tidal Wave Chi kung again -

But why is it so expensive compared to other chi kungs? Is it really worth the price?
  21. My experience with Spring Forest Qigong

Hello, thank you very much for sharing! I did not realise that SFQ doesn't require a so-called energy transmission since it seems more powerful if everybody practicing it is connected on various levels. I wonder why others qigong systems cannot do the same and insist you need an in-person energy transmission to progress? Anyway, I have a question for you. I bought SFQ Level 1 some years ago and did try it out. I'm not sure why I stopped. However, if I remember correctly, doing the standing exercise plus the micro cosmic orbit meditation took around 1.5 hours to do. It was a lot of time for me. My question id: now that you have also done levels 2 and 3, how many hours a day do you have to devote to practice? Are you supposed to do all 3 levels every day? Thanks :-)
  22. Michael Lomax

Ah ok. I write them and am awaiting an answer. Patience is key :-) Thanks for your reply.

Could somebody please direct me to a web site where i can purchase the Gift of Tao DVDs? I cannot seem to find it. Thanks
  24. Zhineng Qigong Level 1 question

Sorry about your broken nose. However, I wasn't planning to use it for that purpose. But it's good to know anyway, thanks!
