  1. I honestly don't get it. I learned that counterclockwise rotations disperse the energy we gathered during practice. So what's the point of those exercises AFTER qigong that teaches us to do first 36 counterclockwise rotations and then 36 clockwise rotations? Is there another explanation to that? I've only been doing 36 clockwise rotations after practice because I feel it makes more sense, I also found systems that only teaches the clockwise rotation so I don't feel I'm 100% wrong, but maybe I'm missing something.
  2. Oh I forgot to give this detail. The rotations are made touching the skin around the navel(big circles)with the palm of the right hand, with left hand on the back of the right hand. 36x counter clockwise then 36x clockwise This is done as a closing exercise after qigong

  4. I always heard that Sunlight exposure increases Qi, BUT EVERYTIME I expose myself for more than 1hour in sunlight it makes me SO SLEEPY, why does this happen? Energetically speaking do you guys know something about it? Does it really increases Qi or it's just me exposing myself too much and causing the reverse effect? It's summer where I live so now we can go the beach and well I thought that it was a nice opportunity to get that sunlight which I can't get in winter, but it makes me so sleepy afterwards.
  5. This. And this. Just take care of yourself, people who think they are possessed, are not. It's just mental illness, sorry for saying that, but this will help you understand. I've seen a clairvoyant talking about these possession cases and analyzing those people, none of them were possessed, it was just in their minds. When a priests performs an exorcism, the "possessed" people BELIEVE that they are free and when this happens it stops, because they weren't possessed at all. Sorry again, I'm saying this with all the respect, I'm just trying to help.

    Pornography = Bad Masturbation = Depends.. We are the first generation to have access to pornography in a large scale. Internet has brought access to it in a ridiculous easy way, you just need to click a button and well.. there you are. Think about our grandparents, how many naked women have they seen in their entire life? I'm 26 and I probably already saw more naked women than my whole family tree LMAO The thing is, we are the first generation to be truly affected by pornography, and all of the studies on this subject are recent, but one thing that has been shown is that porn acts just like cocaine addiction in your brain. Not only that but if you stop and think about it, pornography isn't as easy to let go as cocaine, because well, youcan get rid of cocaine by not buying more cocaine, but how do you free yourself from pornography? You probably need your notebook to work, you probably need your phone for social interactions, and these are the same things we use to access porn, unless you live inside a cave, you can't get rid of these things... So recently there are rehabilitation clinics(I think this is the correct name) for porn addiction recovery. Just like the "normal drugs", a lot of people need to isolate themselves so they can stop, because it's so hard. You don't need to pay for it. You don't need to leave your house to have it. It's ridiculously easy. So yes, pornography is bad, avoid it as much as you can, it will f*** your brain in every way possible. About masturbation, it's totally natural, everyone does it so there's no problem in that, just don't masturbate so frequently or it will be bad for your health, so it can be good or bad, depends on the frequency. About frequent one night stands, I think it's fine too since you're having sex with someone and exchanging energy, so you are not depleting youself. Actually you can deplete your energy having sex, but it's harder, in the other hand(pun intended) masturbation will 100% deplete you everytime.

    I don't think I understood what you are looking for, but I know of a "form" of qigong which is not actually a form, it's more like a warm up but it uses qigong principles so it's kinda of a "qigong warm up" which uses hand, neck rolls, fingers movements, etc.. You can find it in the book "Qigong for total wellness" by Baolin Wu.

    Okay so I was reading about the correlation between JING and SEMEN, and I want to make this clear from the start that JING IS NOT SEMEN. I read that JING is what is used to produce SEMEN, and in this case if you practice the internal arts you will have more quality JING which in turn this means that you have a higher quality SEMEN, my question, does this make any sense? I want to ask this for a long time but I wasn't sure if should, but well here we are.

    Lol I just saw this exactly one month after your post, what a coincidence hahaha trying to be more active here again, this last month was busy have you done other meditations ? yes for other meditations in general and yes for other yoga nidra meditations, some more esoteric than the one you mentioned but I don't think they are safe, so I did just one time and never again. I found one which worked with the whole chakra system besides the normal "yoga nidra relaxation". past life guided meditations? Yes I did some in the past but it was like 10 years ago, I'm not into that anymore and I don't recommend doing it, not sure if it can be dangerous or not but nowadays I don't even believe they work chakra cleansing? Yes but I also did it years ago when I had no idea what I was doing, today I have a completely different understandind about the chakras self hypnosis? Only for something like 3 days when I had insomnia and tried it to sleep, it doesn't worked so I stopped, I listened to the whole thing and at the end I wasn't sleeping, and to make things worse I still had to look at my bright phone screen to turn it off lol

    I have it all the time, it's crazy, I just eat well and meditate, they probably feel the energy. Some people say that this is BS, I disagree, there's a correlation between meditation, retention and women attraction. About the shower temperature thing, I've seen a lot of guys saying that they get insane attraction and one of the things in their routine was cold showers, that's why I made this correlation with what he said about "magnetism". But it's also true that I spoke to some guys who also claim to have a lot of attraction and they never took a cold shower, so it's hard to discern, maybe it doesn't matter at all. But one thing that I find in common from the vast majority is the meditation on the LDT part, so maybe this is the main thing. I've also spoke to some guys who were on high "semen retention" streaks but never felt attraction at all, but they didn't meditate and their diet and sleep were very bad. It's more like a mix of things that will get you there, it's a funny research to do and you can apply on yourself to see if that works.
  15. Hello my chi friends here I'm, back at it with another controversy The question today is: HOW DOES WATER TEMPERATURE AFFECT OUR Qi? Does HOT or COLD showers drains our Qi? I've already seen EVERYTHING: - People saying that HOT showers drains your Qi and you should take only COLD showers. - People saying that COLD is the villain and you should only take HOT showers. -*I've also seen a master claiming that you shouldn't shower at all because the water(he didn't mention the temperature in this case, he only said "water") takes away the Qi from your body. *I think this is impractical for everyone living in the "normal world" but maybe it does make sense for him living isolated in the mountains, that's why I'm asking about water temperature because I'm not ready to leave my shower behind, but if anyone knows about "water taking your Qi away" it would be a nice contribution to the topic I decided to post this to bring this discussion to see if we can find a point where we all agree to what is the best for everyone's health

  18. Indeed, he always ate good food, slept early and woke up early. I'm just trying to get the mathmatics right on this, so a good diet and a good night of sleep can compensate for constant stress, active sexual life and overwork, that's very interesting.

I asked because my grandpa used to overwork A LOT when he was younger, for YEARS, and he always been a strong man, even in his 80's people always think he's 20 years younger and I never understand it because I know his background and everything he went through and I know it wasn't easy, but somehow he maintain a lot of vitality, if we literally take what's written about Jing and Qi depletion, it just doesn't make sense, he is also very stressed about everything and every little thing, also had a very active sexual life. So reading what Sanity Check said, I kinda linked both stories and maybe my grandpa had generated more Qi(Energy/Vitality) and that's why he still strong in his 84 years. But in the end it can just be all genetics hahaha, but here it is, food for thought.

    You are the second penson I see talking about Yoga Nidra for improving Chi, I just don't get how it works, maybe it deserves a post about this, I'll use the search engine to see what I can find about yoga nidra, youtube lessons seems nice but idk I don't feel they are safe nor are they the real yoga nidra I have this bias that it's just another "westernalization" of the real practice, just like the "Yoga" people advertise on the west which truly isn't yoga but just aerobic movements LMAO now all the Yoga fans will hate me I'll just leave it here and run bye
