Spirit will try and can work (in spite of so to speak) across times, places, forms and peoples...that is its nature, not unlike the nature of water as described in the T.T.C.
  2. Reflecting on TDB

sometimes this site is used by folks to grind their axes or bounce stuff off others to see what pops out...and sometimes good stuff happens, so goes our human nature.

And I think there is even a more radical one, namely, "love thine enemy" !! Which was unheard of for that age and for most all the ages and historical cultures of mankind. (maybe someone knows of some exceptions?)
  4. reminds me that the "magic" never repeats or revisits in exactly the same...

I'll have to ponder on that, in the meantime I'm losing hair and its mostly turned white, I liked the gray& pepper stage better.

identification of ourselves as mind is inherent with doubt. Mind can split hairs in half forever down to the sub-atomic levels but still never reach non-hair...
  8. Jesus in India ( Himalayas)

doubt is a possession and not an easy one to have/keep, although in Zen with it's Koans I'd say doubt is put to good use. Pure Golden/White no doubt

the best machine to measure chi flow and magnitude is a human being/body that is sensitive enough and fortunate, but they also can not prove same to another -- and if they tried to force proof on someone then they are asking for a shitload of karma.
  10. Jesus in India ( Himalayas)

nah, that is Babaji in his domain. And he can fly up that mtn. if he wants to.
  11. Jesus in India ( Himalayas)

ok but with the added implication from posted context earlier that you believe they are proven to measure chi flow and magnitude besides just existing, just as many other unproven things exist. (like various electronic gadgets sold on the market in 30's and 40's said to cure this and that but did not )

4 links on the same machine that proves nothing about chi? I'd put more stock in one those aura reading machines but the same idea about psychosomatic input/out put by a persons body could make it show something.

or people believe all sorts of stuff because they have verified it within selves beyond any doubt although they can not prove that or it to others since it is subjective to them beyond measurement by any form of 5 sense related instruments. (and that is not rocket science)
  14. Jesus in India ( Himalayas)

and what are there names, ss# number etc. of equipment proven to measure chi magnitude and flow? And I'm not talking about already made health instruments like an ekg, o2 meter, heart monitor, blood pressure, voltmeters, magnetic field meter, etc. being that they all could show readings caused by a dr.'s subjective suggestions to a patient or a patients psychosomatic reactions expected by norms they have heard of from others...

are there electronic instruments that objectively measure and verify acupuncture results in real time or soon thereafter? (for instance in the exact flow directions and measured amounts of chi) If not why does anyone believe in it?
  16. Jesus in India ( Himalayas)

there is no earthly objective verification for someone subjective experiences beyond the 3d and 5 senses. But there is possible correlation's people can make who have had similar experiences along such lines. To otherwise try and force or deny such things one way or another is futile.

why do say most actions by Jesus were only symbolic? As i see it most of his actions were down to the brass tacks and the nitty gritty, no wishy washy or half guessing it. Granted there were a lot of metaphor type stories but I wouldn't equate such with just debatable symbolism.

and there is also the fact that earth is a battleground, and some need a battleground to prove out who and what they are, including falling and getting back up again, whereas the higher realms of heaven are not battlegrounds since the beings there have already proven themselves out. And some of them out inherent compassion come to earth to help out humans knowing that the battleground here will largely remain but that some of us can move on to better realms or even total freedom of "enlightenment". (although someday the whole earth besides just pockets of it will also evolve enough to become a heaven like state, and the beings that refuse that will have to wait for only god knows how long for chances to further evolve where ever it may be)

it's should be very obvious to most anyone that has reflected on spiritual maters and also worldly matters that inner and outer forms of evil is always ready to co-opt, corrupt, pervert, invert and thus destroy spiritual teachings, its teachers, practices and people in general, for those that don't understand that by now will they ever?

Throwing the baby out with the bathwater does matter...thus throwing out possible pointers to that which is beyond pointers is no better... if you mean the essence of something is more important than it's outer appearance's I get that context.

try reading about the woman at the well who met Jesus there...that is the real deal and not limited to just that person or time and place or just one great master but is the potential for all of us to know...the pure living water springing up from within...
