Mindfulness is a practice that leads to perception of reality in which the labeling mind is set a side and only "reality as it is"(truth) is apparant.

If you wish to say spirituality and therapy are different. Then why do they have the same objective? Psych means soul. Psychotherapy is the science of the Soul. That's literally a definition of spirituality.
  3. Very unpopular opinions

The goal of therapy is to restore the peace of mind. The same goal that every spiritual path has aswell. So therapy is basically spirituality just under a different name. Still progressing. And if therapy ever reaches a final stage of development it will become inseparable from the classic spirituality that we see.

"Perception of reality without mental defilements or mental filters" that would be one way of saying it. But a much simpler way of saying it would be just "honesty" imo
  5. Very unpopular opinions

Yes mindfulness is the means to the end. Not the end itself.
  6. Very unpopular opinions

Mindfulness is the means to truth in other words. But not the only means.
  7. Very unpopular opinions

Of course having a nice day was my intention all along hehe
  8. Very unpopular opinions

Observing reality without conceptualizing it leads to truth. Because now you truly see things for what they are.
  9. Very unpopular opinions

I gave my arguments why I think spirituality is the only legit therapy. So far you're just running circles and failing to say anything to address those arguments. Or debunk those arguments. That's the story of the situation unfortunately.
  10. Very unpopular opinions

It's okay to have an impression. When you want to back it up with arguments one day, I'm all ears.
  11. Very unpopular opinions

Honesty would be another word for it. Vipassana would be a buddhist word for it. "Seeing things as they are" not as you think they are.
  12. Very unpopular opinions

I did give my arguments. And I probably know much more about Gestalt than you think.
  13. Very unpopular opinions

Any spirituality that focuses on truth. Is your mind at peace when you are honest, sincere, and true to yourself. Or is your mind at peace when you're lying to others and to yourself? Everybody knows the answer to that question. I close my case. Haha.
  14. Very unpopular opinions

At least you could've made some arguments to back your statements. That middle part of your comment was just random information.
  15. Very unpopular opinions

There is no other way to bring real peace to the mind except by aligning your life with the truth. So spirituality is the only legit therapy out there. Every other means to bring peace to the mind is fool's gold. Unfortunately it sometimes works. Like people drink themselves into numbness etc. And unfortunately there are many such foolish endeavors in the world going on. Therapy because it contains the elements of buddhism has some value. But if it contained the whole of buddhism then it would really begin to shine.

For gestalt therapy to be a complete system it has to realize that to really heal all sense of incompleteness it has to focus on that which is beyond incompletness and is always perfect. Current gestalt system fails to realize that there are false ways to try to heal unfinished gestalts aswell. And you can spend decades getting nowhere. Or even worse, arrive at a false sense of completeness. If the makers of gestalt had been a bit more wise. They would've taken all the wisdom from buddhism and not just tiny bits of it. Because now it's a very water downed system that's barely effective. But then it would just be called buddhism. Not gestalt.
  17. Very unpopular opinions

If it is so popular then why did you fail to think of it? And if you think there's a better answer than the "cliche" one. By all means, let me hear it. The stage is yours.
  18. @Taoist Texts If only laughter was enough to make a point, you'd be a genius...
  19. The existence of evil has nothing to do with the existence of universal intelligence. The spiritual and physical principles(dharma) that govern all life. This reminds me of Alan Watts quote. “Life is most skillfully lived when one sails a boat rather than rowing it. It’s more intelligent to sail than to row.” Which is what i meant by letting go of force (personal will) and allowing of the universal intelligence(currents of life) to take care of you.
  20. For the universal intelligence to move through you, you (ego) have to step away. "not my will, but thy will be done" The statement should read. "without any personal/egoic will (fear, control, manipulation)… life is unfolding in miraculous ways in perfect harmony"
  21. Very unpopular opinions

There's an easier answer imo. Whatever you truly desire at the bottom of your heart. At the deepest part of who you are. That is your true will. Your True driving force in life. If I was to spoil the answer. It would be love. And it's not your will. It's God's universal will for all life.
  22. Very unpopular opinions

Unpopular opinion. Darwin's theory of evolution is no good.
  23. In praise of ideas

Mind has an ability to fragment and compartmentalize reality. Mind fragments reality first into concepts, then out of concepts it creates ideas, theories, thought forms etc. Simply put it's a mental construct born out of fragmentation.
  24. Transgender Q&A

I have a feeling if i clarify more, things will explode again. Maybe i'll just leave it at that and be gone. Bye 🙏
  25. Transgender Q&A

Whether or not those words had something to do with transgenderism is revealed in your emotional response.
