I have nothing to do with what Cobie and/or oldBob are posting.

Please everyone, take a look at the bullshit that is being posted by Nungali. The man flip-fllops in two consecutive posts. First he says tthe pentagram iis egyptian, then he flip-slops in the very next post to correct me because I implied it came from egypt as well. Hermetics are greek. ~shakes my head~ The man is cuckoo for cocoa-puffs. Nungali go back the esoteric forum. You're acting like a jackass.

Which probably got it from Egypt.

Bro-seph. Watch out, we agree. Poor Matt will forget that I don't know shit. We're supposed to be rivals. Get back into character, man!

This is what I was referring to. Also please refer to the wikipedia screenshot. Either 5 or 6. 5 is a seal, closing. 6 is connection to everything. Binding a demon would be with the pentagram. Speaking with animals, would be perhaps the hexagam. So, they're very different, actually. The pentagram is more accurately understood as the seal of Solomon. But, if you prefer a compromise. We're both right and neither of us is wrong.

I am not the subject of this thread. PM sent.

Framing is everything and everything is framed. Don't forget it. If you do, propagandists can paint a detailed picture, frame it, put it on a wall, and the audience will never realize there's an entire world outside of their awareness, outside of the frame of the picture which is being painted for them.

The topic is : "Axioms Against Cognitive Distortion". Do you know how to recognize and avoid cognitive distortion?
-
Everything is special in its own way. Over-generalizing leads to false stereotyping.

Certainty is the end of all learning. Agnosticism is your friend.

Bro, can we all stop bickering? It's not helping, it can't be.

In the Jewish record? King Solomon. It is literally, Solomon's seal. Probably Silver. He had contact with many cultures including the very beautiful Queen Sheba, of Egypt.

^^ intellectual laziness, or atrophy, or exhaustion ^^ Books are written about this topic. Reading them requires time, effort, motivation. All of those are compromised by your tunnel vision and the rewards of self-validating your prejudices. Literally pre-judging and assuming your limited view contains enough data to produce an informed conclusion. But like I mentioned above, dude, you could be simply exhausted. It's what happens. It's natural. It doesn't mean anything is wrong with you, as @Cobie is assuming of my words. It means you're human. But even this might be considered an insult if you have decided that you are a god or god-like. Here, you need this. It's excellent. I'll send it you. For free. But you'd have to read much more than an essay. Maybe you don't actually care UNLESS it's anti-Jewish. And that's fine. I don't judge you harshly for it. It's only natural. Strong and wrong but natural.

No. Your loss

@Cobie, My friend in India replied. The first thing he said is: "Brahma Samhita was discovered/written in 16th Century. " It's not an ancient text. Here's his translation: karnikaram mahad-yantram sat-konam vajra-kilakam sadanga-satpadi-sthanam prakrtya purusena ca premananda-mahananda-rasenavasthitam hi vat "The great plate's figure is a hexagon and the central six part support is strong and is certainly the place of manifestation of the absolute person and the mellow juice of bliss of love, great bliss, existing like a light, like a kāma-bīja* in a mantra." * kāma-bīja: a magic word, like Om. tat-kinjalkam tad-amsanam tat-patrani sriyam api "Of that lotus, the petals (devotees) also are part of his glory" From this we can compare to what was written on the web-page provided and see if the *meaning* of the literal translation is faithfully rendered there. Although, it is concerning that the reader is being lead to believe ( the assumption is encouraged ) that the hindu text and the spiritual significance of the hexagram was written in an ancient text. Unless, of course, I missed the qualification. This happens all the time, Cobie. People like to attribute Jewish concepts and symbols to others which are assumed to be older than Judaism. But, on closer examination, the texts that are referenced are not ancient at all.

who's there

@Nungali, is that vomit or diarrhea? Either way, you should probably change your diet. You are what you eat.

It's not surprise, but something deeper? Could it be that surprise is deeper than you are envisioning? Did you notice my comparison to a gateless-gate? Surprise is a physical manifestation of a Zen Buddhist Koan. I think it's rather deep. And I think the reluctance to acknowledge its depth is perhaps , forgive me, ... a hint of hubris? Those who have worked to consider themselves enlightened, I have found, do not like to consider that others can become enlightened without doing what they themselves did. Maybe, it's as simple as surprise? All the ingredients are there? Literally. For enlightenment? Why not "surprising-laughter" ? https://en.wikisource.org/wiki/The_Gateless_Gate

Nungali, Please name one thing you cannot do because you're not born Jewish, because you aren't a chosen person? One thing from which you are excluded? Can you name anything? Anything at all? The point is, your objection is meaningless. Not "Chosen" by God is phrase with no practical limitations at all. You can do whatever you want. Just don't lie about your heritage. Is that too much to ask?
-
Yes, my Rabbi says you weren't chosen to be born from my mother's womb. You were chosen to be born from your mother's womb. Assuming that not being chosen to be Jewish precludes other divine purpose is stupid.
