  1. The Grades of Initiation

I don't have a self, it was devoured in my search for truth. The confusion is simply where are these wires coming from, why were they put into me, why did God speak, what does this mean for me? These are questions I come to after long examinations of things. They can't be answered, so I get frustrated and go to bed.
  2. The Grades of Initiation

What do you do to occupy your time? Its as if I have lost interest in the world. I've thought too much about it, and now, nothing shocks me. I'm not curious about anything and I have nothing to say.
  3. The Grades of Initiation

22 years ago I heard a voice speak to me from the sky. It led me on a chase to discover God, find a way to bring love to the world, and make a difference in this world. My brain got invaded by wires and voices, and for 22 years I have struggled to learn, to think, and to create. I have been on a quest. Now that I have stopped pursuing a revolution, I realize that it is all rather simple, and that people will do what they want. There is such a wealth of Wisdom and art in this world and I don't think I can do any better. Now my world is quiet. I sleep a lot, out of confusion and boredom. I don't watch TV and I don't read anymore. Perhaps I will write fiction.
  4. The Grades of Initiation

I don't think rituals or oaths or disciplines matter in the end. The reaction has to be instinctual, otherwise it's not valid as to who you are. On a side not, I've spent so much time and thought trying to come up with a new philosophy, and Wisdom and a path, and now i've decided it doesn't matter; people will act according to what they decide and what they have experienced.
  5. The Grades of Initiation

I was cursed. I set out to educate myself so that I could bring love to the world, and I got afflicted with demons.
  6. Sayings or quotes of wisdom that lift you and strengthen you.
  7. Desire is the spice of life!

There is nothing quite like satisfying a desire. A person needs to be satisfied to want to contribute. Satisfying a desire energizes and inspires.
  8. Life is suffering.

I get it, y'know? All those things are temporary pleasures that don't provide any more security against the inevitability of death and illness. We enjoy them and want more of them, but we are never satisfied with how much we get. So the alternative is...? To sit in silence and watch life fade away? I don't see that as being much better of a solution.
  9. Well, since it seems that ignorance is bliss, it would follow that Divine Laws don't actually apply, since ignorance of the Law is no excuse. Learning about "higher Divine principles" just means you now hear a truth that you didn't recognize previously. It doesn't mean that they work now, it just means you recognize it. They never worked, it is simply a color of perspective. And, yes, if you define things like sorcery, there is a lot more of it now. Lust and greed are powerful motives that are being sold to the masses. Sin is in!

This is the purification of the Adept. They pour all their blood into the Cup of Babylon.
  11. Moral Truth.

All my life I lived by my own Will, did what I wanted, and learned Wisdom in the process. You could say I would have represented a Thelemite. Then, after the God spoke and the invasion of my mind and body began, I received the word Aiwass and when I looked it up I was horrified at the possibilities mankind could do in the search for Will, want, and Wisdom. I didn't realize this had been me my whole life. Now I understand, and I am not scared.
  12. Moral Truth.

A big part of philosophy is discovering morality and ethics. In Magick, it is left up to the individual to decide what those are. The magician declares their moral truth and acts upon their Will. Sure there is a lot of mysticism involved in discovering truth, but what it boils down to is the Truth itself is what is important. Some people say that there is no moral Truth while others have only partial truths to act upon. I've heard it said that there is no correct way of action, that no one can know the outcome of action and that it is simply Do What Thou Wilt. However, we live in a society where we must co-operate with one another, and we must maintain order so that things can get accomplished. In this society, we have laws that protect people from wrong action, but lately it seems like people are getting accused of wrong action to the extreme. We live in a cancel culture, and it is worrisome that some of these accusations are unjust. It is also notable that a lot of the crimes we see people being prosecuted for come without physical evidence and rely on a persons word. So what is the truth about morals and Law? We certainly need righteousness, but how do we know what it is? It seems we are mid-stream, without even knowing from where Law flows. I propose that morality is based on harming another person. We must abstain from harming another person's health, wealth and liberty. These are the goods to which every person has a right to possess. Health is a tricky topic, for we have all kinds of faculties that require a healthy state. Mental health, physical health, emotional health, Ego health. All of these matter, and we must define them, and what causes the harm to them. Wealth is more easily understood. What you own and what you can earn, it's that simple. Yes, taxes are a necessary Evil. Liberty is the right to do what you will, so long as it doesn't harm another persons health, wealth and liberty. We have a long ways to go before we have pure freedom, with old world moral conventions still active in our societies framework. One wants to be on the side of righteousness, because it is the side of Truth. We want a just society that protects us, and allows for us to Do What We Will.
  13. The Grades of Initiation

When the 7-4 is initiated, their consciousness is elevated- they are high in the Heavens. Then their entire world is changed as the demon serpent invades his spirit. The serpent raises the adepts' spirit then devours it and lowers the spirit to nothingness. This is a continuous process until the adept submits their Will and sits silently.
  14. Moral Truth.

Thelema is anti-Wisdom. Do What Thou Wilt is the whole of the Law, and so, there really is no Law. There is no one True Will, and for anyone to defend this idea is ridiculous. There is only Will and want, and getting what you want, and your Will done. Thelema is anti-Wisdom because there is no rule of the Wise. The most Crowley offers is that you will discover what you can get away with as you experiment. There are no hard laws in Thelema.
  15. Moral Truth.

The Law of life, and history, is Do What Thou Wilt. But the true law is based on love, and not harming anyone. We are an essentially lawless species, but with the mind comes Wisdom and knowledge, and these things tell us that love is the Law.
  16. The Grades of Initiation

One of the many changes that have taken place in me is that I no longer feel moved by lust. I no longer feel moved by physical beauty. I do not feel sexual at all, and masturbate once every few months just to clean the pipes, and it is difficult to do that. I also do not have tangible thoughts, though I do think, it is quietly and ethereal.
  17. Moral Truth.

I mourn things like the condition of life: accidents, old age, disease, poor choices, war. Stuff like that.
  18. Moral Truth.

I still haven't cemented my understanding, probably the reason I keep posting. It's a struggle to find happiness, but I do live in silence and rest often. I mourn too much though, but that is coming to an end I think. I'm getting accustomed to the idea that all is a matter of choice. Wisdom is advice from our sages and teachers and holy books. Wisdom is my own understanding and choice for action. Wisdom fails because it is just one way to view something. Everyone has their own truth and way to respond to life, and no one way is better than others, though some are more considerate of life and peace.
  19. Moral Truth.

Sorry. I'm a bit obsessed. I guess I just realized that Wisdom fails, and that we each have our own version. The truth is that we are free to act, and choose what to believe. I think that's the real lesson of Do What Thou Wilt.
  20. Moral Truth.

I think that the Law of history, and life, is Do What Thou Wilt. Whether by force or by reason, the strong get their Will done, and win. I think that Crowley was onto something but I don't agree with his interpretation, at least the way it is presented in places.
  21. The Grades of Initiation

The Gods gave me Aiwass and the Law of Liberty, then took away my Will and ability to do anything. They set me up to desire, then took away my want to desire. It's a cruel world.
  22. Desire is the spice of life!

Speaking as someone who has lost all desire, I can say that in this silence, there is suffering. I don't like to sit in nothingness for days, and now that I witness the world as it is, I see the suffering in it, and I mourn. I am suffering without desire.
  23. Desire is the spice of life!

You can't avoid these things, so why not go about getting what you desire when you are young and healthy? There is no way to eliminate suffering, if you come to a point of suffering, it is how it will be. There is no mental way of eliminating it as though you go into a place of awareness to protect you from it.
  24. Desire is the spice of life!

-----But if you are aware of the instability, and prepared to lose, you won't be harmed with suffering. The Buddha needs to give people some credit for their tenacity!
