  1. Holy Blood and Xenophobia

What is best in life for some: Beating dead horses. But why.
  2. Rudi Authentic Neigong

Its not about violence. The type of risk, pressure and sacrifice associated with competing in a sport like MMA. Brings out the best and worst in people. Its a good platform for showcasing bravery, work ethic, cleverness and greatness.
  3. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Spaceships_of_Ezekiel This would be a good topic to ask Elon Musk's advice on. Because aliens.
  4. Examples of Magick in the Old Testament

The white streaks may have been a type of mold, fungus or mushroom. Decomposing wood is broken down primarily by white mold. (At least that is what I've seen in youtube videos of gardeners digging up buried tree branches 2 years after burying them in raised beds.) Maybe there is a type of mold that triggers pigmentation genes in animals. There is legendary plant life like https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silphium that was said to have been lost in ancient times.
  5. Evolution of Christianity

The latest evolution could involve christians exploring the occult: Jared Cannonier credits earth stone energy work for win at UFC Copenhagen https://www.mmamania.com/2019/9/29/20890212/jared-cannonier-credits-earth-stone-energy-work-for-win-at-ufc-copenhagen For those who follow UFC. Jiri Prochazka is another christian who recently did something resembling taoist training of living in complete darkness for days. Jiri Prochazka went 3 days without food in dark room to confront ‘demons,’ train his mind https://www.mmafighting.com/2022/10/18/23409671/jiri-prochazka-went-3-days-without-water-in-dark-room-to-confront-demons-train-mind-for-ufc-282 It could be fair to say athletes are seeing benefits from acupuncture and cupping: Which is encouraging them to branch outwards and explore. I think normal christians may also be doing something similar. If only as they see alphas in society doing it 1st.

  10. Good exercises for the back?

Surfing could be a good back exercise. Lying on the board with back arched for long periods of time. In the weightlessness of the ocean where the spine won't absorb the full strain of it.
  11. What controls the Chi

His attempt to define the nature of chi mimicks the approach used by mass spectrometers to identify periodic table elements in planets and stars based on the light spectrum they emit. Good attempt. But I don't think he's on the right path.
  12. The nature of chi

What I know (or don't know) of taoism and chi I stumbled across randomly or by accident for the most part. As far as I can tell, the human body generates an energy field. (Aura?) This field interferes with perception of energies like chi as external energy. Normally the bodies energy field is powerful and vibrant. External chi cannot penetrate this field to reach the body where it can be sensed and felt. In the course of daily life and extremely bad choices, I did things which weakened me physically and spiritually. This had a side effect of weakening my bodies energy field to an extent where I might have been able to sense chi. If my experience is accurate, the composition of chi is something like a cross between smoke and water. I should mention that I didn't come to this conclusion purely from being physically and spiritually weak. The results I got can't be replicated with that alone as far as I know. There were other factors that played a role I shouldn't talk about. Maybe this can be useful to someone.
  13. Motives

I'm questioning my motives. I look @ the world and want to see everyone healthy, happy and doing well for themselves. I want progress to be made which will elevate quality of life and standard of living for everyone. I encourage people to learn and gain knowledge which will allow them to make smarter choices which they can feel better about. Everyday we have a choice: make things better or make things worse. (Why not make things better for once?) Recently, I began thinking my worldview is too simple and must evolve. Perhaps progress can have negative effects as well as positive ones. I thought progress was the most important thing for people but am now questioning this. The most important thing could be that we care about things and not allow ourselves to become apathetic indifferent bystanders. (Which is more or less what most of us have become @ this point) Progress appears to have empowered apathetic behavior, which is bad for society. It is also questionable as to whether progress has a legitimate trickle down effect where it is equally distributed. Long story short, it seems that the world has become disillusioned with promises of scientific and technological progress. It has led to many becoming complacent and devoid of personal goals or spiritual growth. How can we reclaim our lives and start to care about things again?
  14. What do you train

I'm training in case a zombie apocalypse goes down. Recreational digging with a pickaxe and shovel. Digging invasive trees out of the ground to reduce the degree to which my local area is an ecological disaster in the making. Consuming a type of tropical fruit that is not unlike a form of steroids. It has a protein that is easier for the body to digest and absorb in contrast to traditional forms of protein like wheat. Training the energy meridians to make chicken salad out of chicken !@#%. They said "seasons greetings" but in my mind all I heard was "seasons beatings". Positive and encouraging beatings full of love but beatings none the less. edit More serious note I train kickboxing, yoga and all of the standard stereotypical things people are probably tired of hearing about by now. Of course.
  15. The nature of chi

If you could touch and feel Qi with your fingertips. It would resemble smoke or a liquid in terms of its density, shape and motion. Look @ my user name. Take what I say with a grain of salt, if needed.
  16. How did you come up with your username?

I'm not certain laziness is a legitimate thing that exists. If a reed that bends in the wind of a hurricane can survive, while an oak that is rigid will break. Perhaps laziness can exhibit greater productivity than constant activity in the way that a runner who paces themselves may appear lazy. Yet will inevitably win a marathon versus a runner who tries to sprint the entire 26 mile distance. Greater activity can be more prone towards resembling a headless chicken running in circles. Laziness might be a net positive in that it allows for a reset & breaks the circular cycle.
  17. What controls the Chi

    1. Solid. 2. Liquid 3. Gas Which of these 3 states of matter is chi most similar to? Maybe none? Maybe chi would be more similar to photons (light) or something else? I think if chi can be categorized and defined to some degree, it helps to answer questions like what controls it.
  18. Karma

Is our universe built to allow dysfunctional individuals who inflict harm on others, to thrive and prosper? Generally, I think the answer is: no. Inflicting harm accumulates negative karma to maintain justice and order in society. Whether for the good or bad done unto others, people eventually reap what they sow. Although, I wonder if there might be some exceptions. Pre covid most of us have been extremely lucky to live in an era of relative peace and harmony. But that facade of law and order comes at a cost. In terms of those maintaining the peace getting away with more than their fair share of evil deeds. At least temporarily.

Sanity check is a programming term for sanitizing input within boundaries to avoid undefined behavior which might produce unwanted bugs or security vulnerabilities. I have an unusual personality quirk for splitting hairs in an effort to achieve context perfect accuracy and empathize with the term. I also have an unusual penchant for saying things others say sound crazy. (Which sometimes end up being accurate.) Making it great to have a "sanity check" disclaimer above each post I write.
