Hmm that painting looks like it has something to do with moving/raising the vital energy through the chakras. Looks like a fairly contemporary painting so the system may not be based on any archaic knowledge and may simply be a personal perspective. As for the three treasures:

I've heard that some Tibetan monks practice such things although I also found it rather amusing. I figure it's just an initiation thing to prove they've cultivated certain disciplines and practices so that they can progress to other teachings. Most of us realise that sexual energy has much to do with cultivating chi but I figure some people just go to far!

I don't meditate but I have experienced most of the things you mention although they're not for me. You should actually be careful as most of the people I've known that have messed with such things have either gone mad, drunk themselves to death or committed suicide! I jest not. My favourite spiritual practice is simply walking in the park. Secrets are often hidden under a veil of complexity.

Hmm Not sure I would agree with that. Might be more accurate to say that Taoism first helps you to see the complimentary nature of opposites but then leads you to the realisation that there are no opposites i.e. There is no duality. People obsess on the supposed dualism of the Yin Yang but the duality is only apparent and not actual. The two sides of the Yin Yang are the same just as the world is the same when the sun goes down. People may say that the darkness of night brings death and fear but again this is apparent and not actual. In fact day and night are just ideas and there is nothing absolute about them because it's all just the flow. Once you remove the falsehood of duality from the Yin Yang you are left with a circle and a sign way. There is also the center point of the circle which might be imagined as a dot in it's middle. But isn't this just more duality you may ask? No because the circle and the center point are joined by the flow of ever-becoming / ever-returning which is the ecstatic bliss of being which is non-being. It's all about being free/three and not two or polarised/divided.

The circle, a point and the wave of ever-becoming, ever-returning! Darkness and light are only apparent do not discriminate and flow with the ever-becoming, ever-returning ecstasy. This from ten years ago:

It's pretty much accepted by many scholars and mystics that Adam was the first sentient race and was androgynous/hermaphrodite and eve was the second race when we differentiated into male and female.

I often think fear can be a good thing, I mean it can keep you rational. Perhaps it's better to talk about rational fear and irrational fear. Oh and for the mystics out there I have seen the quicksand, the bottomless pit and the sting in the tail so I've seen fear at full volume! Further: emotions are OK as long as you let go because it's when you hold on that problems arise. Non-attachment and letting go are always good teachings.
