  5. That’s the Christian meaning (ἀγαπᾶτε τοὺς ἐχθροὺς ὑμῶν love your enemies Mathew 5:44) afaik, modern Greeks use αγάπη for the love of a husband for his wife.

    I have not seen any paradoxes in the DDJ as yet. I have seen a lot of bad translations, and even more ignorant and pompous exegesists.
