    I find it hard to see a connection between these quotes, and the later Confucianism that imposes all kinds of restrictions. Just like there’s Laozi-ism vs later Taoism, would you say there’s also Confucianism vs later Confused-ianism?

    ‘Those who know’ know ‘siddhis’ are internal, part of one’s own consciousness (subjective). But till one knows one cannot exclude anything. Some Westerners think ‘siddhis’ are external, part of the physical world (objective). No ‘sane & honest’ person has ever experienced such thing (being non-existent).
