  1. Hot Shower X Cold Shower

Ahh, this topic... According to Mark Rasmus, hot water will demagnetize you. Does that mean your qi is "drained"? I don't feel so. The microcirculation of blood is so helped that it can only be benificial in my humble opinion. Microvessels open during hot baths. How would this not help detoxing given the skin is such an important detox organ? A proper body scrub with it and you feel like you've had a cup of coffee sometimes. I used to do the cold shower thing back in the days and they definitely magnetize you. That, paired with windsurfing in ice cold weather, left me with a year-long cold though... so no mas, thank you. Heard someone say that the metric should be if you can re-warm within 10 minutes, cold showers are okay for you. If not, you've too much imbalance or an unfitting constitution. Then there is the closing-your-pores with a cold splash so as to keep up the wei qi. Could it be that touchiness is more ado in warm countries simply because their peoples' pores are more open? Also reminded here of the temper-or-build-debate Rudolf Steiner posed... he seemed to say that yes, you can toughen people the antagonistic way (cold showers in this case) or you can build them from the roots and they'll be just as tough. And no trauma, I'd add. We have okay water in Sweden plus I use a volcanic rock shower filter I feel is doing its job okay. I sometimes buy dead sea salt and fill up until I almost float.
  2. What made YOU laugh today/tonight ?

A old friend who used to be the only one who could keep up with my intellectual digressions contacted me yet again after years of to and fro. I laughed: I really thought both our prides had been touched too much this time. He is an aries, and thinking of this somehow made me laugh even more.
  3. Greetings

Hi Bums, Been wondering why I cannot respond on any of the topics so I will try to unlock said possibility with an introduction. Not much to mention, at this point, other than my focus on philosophy, science, literature, nutrition, Nei Gong, Yang Style Taiji and energy medicine. I am here to learn and interact and hopefully express some of the sizzling nerdism inside me which, needless to say, often becomes too much for my offline people. All the best and thank you, Filosofy
