  1. The energy given before birth, that binds your soul to your body.
  2. Life Expectancy depends on the density and robustness of your silver thread.
  3. Introducing Heavenly Dao School

Genuinely interested in your high-level system, what are the costs of mastering all the levels?
  4. No. The opposite of life is not "murder" or "genocide", the opposite of life is aging, getting old, and passing away. Has nothing to do with murder, genocide, torture, or any other thing you find perfectly normal apparently. Many people pass away in their sleep when they are old.
  5. You don't know anything about MCO. Drew had deviations, that is when you do "self-development" in an improper way and damage yourself to an extent that it is visible to surrounding people even from the posts online. You have them too, I read in another thread or here, that you talk that you have "enlightened" and came here literally, to shed the light on us, ignorant mortals. But it is not the case, you have an inflammation of the mind and a mental deviation, which is to be expected if you were learning or going after drew steps. That is why we say, one should be learning esoteric stuff through a decent school/teacher setting and not online via public access articles and trash books.
  6. Can relate to that, had many great experiences, only to come back to them later again and again. However great your experience or state of mind is if you cannot enter it again when you wake up the next day. It is not yours and it is non-tangible. You can often think you have mastered/achieved something, made a big breakthrough, and move on, only to lose and forget it few days/weeks/months later. And without the right keys, the progression is limited. It even feels like a bad joke to get back into the state you have already been in 20+ years ago repeatedly. It is a groundhog movie nightmare of the cultivator. After experiencing it XXX-th? time in this life, I thought it is gonna be the same as always, yet somehow I have started to wake up each day in this very state of mind or being able to get in there shortly and consistently. The more mindboggling was the realization that I have been into that state XXX-th more times in previous lives. On a deeper level, I realized I was missing some conditions to make that quality permanent all the time. That little something cost me 20 years. The feeling is weird tho, it is as if you were sleeping, but now you have woken up, and you cannot even go to sleep anymore.
  7. The TM rabbit hole

He probably did not read the thread, just posts his enlightenment experience by whatever tag touches his mind.
  8. The world is not that simple, things don't just happen on their own and lead you to the ascension. You need KNOWLEDGE and SKILL and both of those things are not as simple as going and sitting in meditation. The knowledge is most definitely lost, otherwise we would have 100.000+ living buddhas and not a few handfuls of people who are unknown to the world. The skill is not easy to cultivate and obtain, otherwise there would be millions of buddhas and not millions of failures. In the discussion start there was a talk how all practices are widely available, on reddit, forums about meditation e.t.c., well if all practices are available for decades, where are the resutls? Where are all the buddhas or enlightened beings with high level Jhanna cultivation.. ? A qualified teacher, school, and training program are necessary to start cultivation properly, I don't believe it is possible to get far through open source online teachings. Feeling of bliss, feeling of light and free and not feeling your physical body, does not really sound to me like Jhanna or any high level attainment. It is nothing special. I read a lot of such things from beginners.
  9. No, it's like saying sitting or standing still is all there is to neigong and qi cultivation. Concentration is a genuine practice but it is only a beginner's preparation for mind work, not the Mind work itself. I do make people train in concentration for 6 months - several years before passing on to a next step practice. I understand your concerns though if you come from Buddhist texts and there is nothing about Qi and cultivation. I believe the knowledge is mostly lost, and each tradition preserved publicly the most focal points. Even those points got corrupted over time. They could be still shared individually via oral transmission in some closed setting. Cause personally I don't really think there are two different paths, more like there is one path that contains both Mind work and Qi cultivation. And each of these two has its pits and bottlenecks so you can be stuck forever. Damo Bodhidharma was a Buddhist monk. Did you read about his feats, like slicing off a bull's head with his palm? Those are descriptions of high-level Qi powers, above those demonstrated by John Chang or any other masters I have seen tbh.
  10. I don't think working with your Qi is esoteric, and working with your mind is non-esoteric. Working with the mind is in fact more complex than working with Qi. I have met a lot of people quite advanced with energy, but only a very few advanced with their minds. (You can simply take all people you know or see, and compare the number of those who can feel, create an energy ball with their hands with those who can see, and manipulate Qi with their mind. One is much more common, another is much rarer.) The majority of Qi exercises are similar to going to Gym, while working with your mind might be an insanely complex and difficult task, like solving a math problem of the century, only a select few people in the world can do it to a high level. There are only a few possible reasons why some schools would work with energy and avoid working with mind. A. Knowledge is lost, and they have no methods of mind cultivation. B. Some teachers understand that students are too dumb/low level for that work, and keep them away from it on purpose. C. A student getting smarter than their teacher is another risk factor, as they won't need that teacher anymore, and the teacher will have to go on the streets begging for money. (It is much easier to manipulate people who do not have their own brain cells, and give them fixed instructions for 20-30-50 years in a row)
  11. @freeform You gotta use the correct graph, without peak of mount Stupid, dunning Kruger graph is worthless Also, Valley of Despair is the most critical part of self-development, it is when a human being truly realized that he was living in a delusion, and he is a total nobody. That is when the path starts. It is often called a rough awakening, or shattering of the world.
  12. Inner smile practice: Problem of authenticity

Afaik, the inner smile is not a practice, but something that arises in you naturally when you do correct practice. Mantak got it all wrong as usual.
  13. Definitely sounds like drew to me, Daoist @Everything mumble-jumble did not make a single coherent sentence. They both, however, belong to the most dangerous Daoist Sect out there, a sect of Huge Walls of Text.
  14. It's okay that someone wants to contact a psychic or divination for whatever problem they have, just don't trust it when it is about your health and get a proper medical doctor check-up with lab tests and computer MRI snap shots if you have any concerns.
  15. Your opinion about reiki?

Reiki is a Voodoo Magic cultivation system, it is a kind of energy pyramid scheme. All reiki practitioners and their patients are nothing more than batteries, used by Voodoo priests to recharge themselves or conduct some kind of spiritual work. The more reiki believers or people who got the mark transmission, the more they have batteries to use. All this crap about how it got founded, is no different from christianity saints fairy tales. I doubt, I will ever see someone who developed themselves to a high level via reiki or similar system. Simply because transmission systems like Reiki take % comission on all transactions, which can also be quite high. Well, for people who are not high in spiritual matters, I can explain in simpler words. Reiki is a like crypto miner on your PC, that installs, and sometimes gives you something, but takes much more for itself.
  16. Nowadays I can control rain.

Controlling rain is nothing, I am capable of controlling every living being on the planet forcing it to breathe all the time. Choke on that air, thus is my will. Trying to go against my will, ends in painful demise and death.
  17. Possession!

Yep. Let's say there is a consciousness (software) > nervous system (signal power) > physical body (vessel) Possession happens on the level of consciousness and subconsciousness. When it gets strong it has an impact on the nervous system and thought/decision-making process. But cases when possession overpowers > nervous system completely and human being lose control over the physical body permanently are extremely rare. What is more often that humans lose control temporarily and in weakened mental state. (Hello alcohol) Even more often when people lose control over part of their nervous system, like deviations in sexual drive (constant desire to have sex) or deviations with food, can be both inability to eat leading to malnourishment, and obsession with food with the inability to stop. Removing possession, however, can be extremely painful as they merge together with human ego and identity. Some people will kill for food or their luxury items and so on.
  18. Possession!

Possession is quite common, I could say about 50%+ population is possessed. What people do not understand tho is the possession not necessary be obvious, visible on first sight, or like in those movies, an uncontrolled hysteria and twitching. It can be a subtle altering of thoughts and ideas. However, if you find a qualified expert in exorcism he could trigger that being to get out of you and this will be quite painful and show resistance.
  19. --- which idea is wrong and why you quote 2 months old post taken from another thread
  20. Yeah, I don't think many people in the world care about this except you and few other people here and maybe Mantak Chia himself. From a business standpoint, if the guy would share his tuition fee with a girlfriend or someone, the Damo would get 40$ a month, now you discouraged him, he will get 0$, so you have made it worse for the "school of internal arts". You also made it worse for him (Poor Student), as he could develop, and now he will do some other stuff, who knows what is it gonna be drugs? All due to someones inflated moralism and ego centrism, with a carebear attitude towards insignificant things in life that will pass.
  21. Tbh I like Damo, but I feel like what you have here built is more of a religious zealous sect and not a group of free-thinking cultivators.
  22. You have already proven you don't know what you are talking about when confused ethereal legs and arms with "imagination". I don't know what is left to talk here. I might visit your teacher mb.. Strawman argument. Don't put words in my mouth I have not said, just disrespectful. Yes, it is easy, when you apply to academy there are no "exams" no "tests". Complex things are impossible to do for the majority of people. They are not taught online, moreover in prerecorded form or shape.
  23. I have done something much more complex and dangerous and can compare. May be for people in Daoist tradition those practices are deep and hard. This is so easy anyone can do this.
  24. Yep, if you think stretches and basics of meditation cost 200 quadrillion dollars, delusion is quite deep. Afaik.
