Hello, I am new here, I have a strong interest in cultivation and neigong. Have anyone here tried Mopai - John Chang cultivation method? What are the possible + and - ? Would you recommend it, or some other cultivation system, and why?

Yeah, it's silly to think nobody has succeeded since the dawn of times, looking as all those cultivation practices exist for tens of thousands of years. There are even multiple ways to attain immortality. We only know of those who probably were not the high level and were pretty public, so like Buddha, Jesus, and Bodhidharma.

A very interesting ability developed through cultivation. One of the milestones in the development of internal power. How does pyrokinesis works? At a certain temperature, objects just go on fire. This is no miracle or supernatural, its just physics. The temperature of going on fire varies between objects. At high levels of ability, masters would be able to burn metal and mould it into all kind of objects. If you don't have Electricity inside, your Qi is not enough, weak Qi. Once Dan Tien is full of electric power it will become possible to project it outside which can lead both to giving electric jolts and to burning some easy to burn objects. Whom do you know who has this ability? How hard - years of cultivation, do you think it takes to develop such power?

You should have started from that. We have very different terms and ideas about what Enlightened being is. I would even say it is opposite meanings. I do not want to become enlightened by your definition. I will deny such enlightenment if given for free, also why would I care about what The Buddha said, it is clear to me that Suffering is good. My first goal is immortality, making my existence permanent and everlasting. Only then my next goals will become possible.

I might think the only way to verify someone is enlightened is by being enlightened yourself. Then you can compare object X to object Y and see if they have similar or equal levels of development. So far this word "Enlightened being" has no scale nor means to measure. As nobody is an enlightened being we can never verify it.

"Burden" of proof lies only on those who care. It took 300 years to prove one mathematical hypothesis and still very few people can understand the "proof". Ego hides where you less expect it to, I see a lot of ego activity in all those talks about siddhi and powers being an ego goal. What ego would never want to is to have some precise, verifiable and observable signs of cultivation, that cannot be denied or faked. Whenever you realize that those abilities are natural to a cultivator and we are nowhere near reaching them, humbleness and humility will arise. What ego does want is to hide behind abstract mumbo-jumbo, to say that cultivation is about adhering your mind to the cosmic plans of evolution, whatever the fk it is. Ego wants to think and feel oneself a master of spiritual path after listening to a lecture of Sri Sri Sri Babajji, and feeling some warmth and bliss. What you seem to miss, is that lighter, knife, boat and nuclear weapons are all external tools, if you are able to perform a siddhi, that means you have internal power, and transformed yourself inside out. Also, there can be 999999 videos and articles debunking "siddhi" and debunking various people who claim that they have abilities. But that just does not mean those abilities are impossible or do not exist. You can never prove that pyrokinesis or electrokinesis or levitation is impossible, as you can never prove that a god or deities do not exist. All, those worries about bad people wielding powerful abilities are much less connected to reality than people buying weapons and mass shooting around. It takes too much effort and talent and training to get anywhere with siddhi, to even think that idiots and fools can get there. It does not take nearly as much as 0.000001% effort to go buy a gun or any other dangerous external tool and cause some disaster.

Reading 5-6 articles about him the guy is incredibly funny, it may not be so funny for people who wasted their life, financial resources, or mental health. The great talent of acting is dying in this guru. Him saying that he wears glasses, because nobody can handle his buddha eye power. His victims are wrongly and naive thinking that he is a Fake because he has no "paper" accreditation from some Buddhist Rinpoche guy. Who was not a fake, was an official guy, but however participated in the very much same shady financial transactions. It is not like any paper, any endorsement from any organisation is definitive proof that you deal with an accomplished saint and not a psychopath. When people learn to critically think and not blindly believe things written on a random wall, they won't get tricked so easily.

You can actually get things burning with a simple glass lens. As it focuses the light or sunlight, it will cause something like paper to catch fire and can be bought in a grocery store for a few bux. It can be easily hidden out of camera view. As for telekinesis, it is done by hiding a small magnet in hand. Magnets can easily move things around. I have magnetic headphones and can show wonders of telekinesis each day with them.
