He recycles quotes such as “you generate more merit by making offering to a single skin pore of your guru than to countless Buddhas in the 10 directions,” and more recently, loves to quote Chapter 11 of the Sutra Forty-Two Chapters (which incidentally, is his retreat topic this year): Fields of Blessings The Buddha said: “It is better to offer food to a single virtuous person than to one hundred evil people. “It is better to offer food to one who observes the Five Precepts than to one thousand virtuous people. “It is better to offer food to one stream-enterer than to ten thousand who observe the Five Precepts. “It is better to offer food to one once-returner than to one million stream-enterers. “It is better to offer food to one non-returner than to ten million once-returners. “It is better to offer food to one arhat than to one hundred million non-returners. “It is better to offer food to one pratyekabuddha than to one billion arhats. “It is better to offer food to one of the Buddhas of the three periods of time than to ten billion pratyekabuddhas. “It is better to offer food to one of ‘no thought’, ‘no abidance’, ‘no cultivation’, and ‘no attainment’ than to a hundred billion Buddhas of the three periods of time.” (Source) Through this “teaching”, PY achieves 2 objectives. Firstly, he infers that he is a being beyond the level of a Buddha or pratyekabuddhas. And that making offerings to him would generate infinite merit.

I don't have a belief system. So no idea what and whom you are trying to question. Pyrokinesis is nothing new, you would be able to find references in texts as old as thousands of years. Same for levitation, teleportation and even nuclear weapons. Denying the possibility of pyrokinesis as well as inability to see Qi and Electromagnetic Waves is sufficient evidence for me, and I am not going to investigate further. There are also some other traits missing like mental sharpness that is common among cultivators. You have somehow managed to make a dozen of false assumptions in this thread alone. Firstly it is not a Mopai thread, so I suggest to move Mopai stuff to another thread I linked above. Then you will need to find Mopai practitioner to question him, cause I don't have knowledge of that system. But I do know JC was legit, cause I am able to see his Dan Tien full of electric Qi. Causing a spark or fire when you have so much power should not be hard.

Have to add in case this thread was reported, it is not a Mopai thread. Never was even mentioned Mopai or John Chang, not by me in the first place. Some people deliberately tried to add Mopai and JC to this discussion, cause it is a topic that legally allows them to troll and mock somebody without any consequences from moderation team, but this discussion is purely about pyrokinesis. You never challenged any of my views as all you did was make strawman arguments all over the place or question things I have never said or did. I would not claim, I am cultivating in this life if I did not pass the early intermediate stage. It is as if someone is talking about themselves as scientists and them doing and studying science, but they have not graduated from primary school yet. While real science only starts after you finish an undergraduate level, and go postgraduate and PhD. The cultivator is someone who already has superpowers, not someone who sits for 30 mins a few times in his life and meditates, and then complains publicly that he cannot even meditate... And cannot find evidence of abilities. Although real meditation is something that few people can experience after a few decades of practice and with some talent. Depending on how you take the term you could say 8 billion people cultivate, or nobody on this forum cultivates. For I personally believe if you have not grown any fruits of cultivation, that no human "without cultivation" has, you have not truly cultivated yet. Guess, I don't see a point in ego wanking and claims, "I have cultivated" "I am a cultivator" when there is really nothing to show. Ok, you are a cultivator, what next? You cannot see Qi on a video of a Qi master and ask for evidence online which can never be found or produced. In more advanced circles the standards of what is a cultivator will be different. By Damo Mitchell definition Cultivator is someone who is not attached to anything in this world besides internal practice. Seemingly how you getting obsessed by many things in this or that topic, or how you care about politics, you are not a cultivator by his definition

Sorry, you did cultivation practices, by the definition of @dmattwads cultivation is anything that grows. So you have successfully cultivated skills of hatred and trolling, your last 25 posts are a good example of what an ego-driven - compulsive obsessive disorder looks like. I am going to report a few where you get on personality, trying to make fun of someone's practice and generally behaving with ridicule and insults.

Hmm, you have spent last 20-25 messages trying to assault, ridicule, and make fun of something. And when said that you have no skill to ascertain whenever a video is fake or not, you get butthurt even more and blame it on me, hmm. Deal with the reality, instead of spreading ego inflammation across the forum and blaming everyone.

Of course when you are blind and cannot see Qi, due to lack of cultivation and internal power, finding evidence is gonna be problematic. Like guessing at straws, whatever you end up guessing will never be right. As there are no objective measures and tools in your disposal to see and evaluate Qi.

I mean, you should be able to see Qi and Magnetic Field and Electricity if you want to bother to judge whenever someone is fake or not when showing abilities on video. You have not done any real cultivation in life so you cannot see Qi. It is like someone completely far off cultivation expertise is trying to decide who is genuine and who is fake, that will never work! You will never be able to tell. Even if you meet the Master in person, you would not be able to tell who is the Master and who is a regular untrained being.

It does not require any "evidence", all is needed is to open eyes and watch the video.

It is fairly easy to cook bread by following precise instructions of a master chef. However, cooking a bread once or twice does not make someone the master chef himself. Moreover cooking a bread might not even be anywhere near the end goal. It could well be one of the first steps on the road. At some point in cultivation, it won't be just mindless following of exercises and instructions given by a more "knowledgeable" figure. At some point, researching and exploration of paths will have to be done by a practitioner, and when he has no other experience in life beyond following precise instructions step by step, that will be the end of the path of cultivation. Of course, if you go for this exploration with no preparation, no basic knowledge, no experience, you have 99.99999999% chance to die quickly. Cultivation is risky and every mistake is punished but there is also a reason so many people are stuck in bottlenecks seemingly forever, and we don't see any renown masters becoming demi-semi or full-fledged gods, or even attaining enlightenment in its true sense of the word. Even powerful paths and schools might have endpoints - chokepoints that people are unable to surpass. Oh and then come to the excuses that it is not about cultivation, not about development, but some abstract qualities of mind. Anything less than immortality is a failure in cultivation. The cultivator will die either way and will have to repeat all this path in the future "fortunate" lifetime.

Sounds like some sort of duality here. Seeing this or that as happiness or suffering is a sign of the samsaric mind. My mind has been freed from ego and delusion, and therefore it has transcended the conditional attachments of mortality.
