I understand, and do agree with much of what you say However I do believe its beyond comedic that they've been attacking the likes of Adam mizner for years, yet could simply test this out quite fast by simply turning up to an event. Adams not shy (Nor are many of the other teachers I know with such skills) Its not so much karmic to be perfectly honest . Its also not a "trained end" so much as a byproduct of opening both laogong and the connection between laogong and the lower dantien The increase in chi flow to the extremeties (hands) means more electrictiy, which in turn means more magnetism. The magnetism is how one can affect others by interacting with the nervous system. Once the pathways are opened, then the more qi you build, the stronger the effect will be. For want of a better word, you literally interact with their electromagnetic makeup via your hands If you are familar with the homunculus model of the sensory and motor cortex, this will make a lot more sense?? I was able to test this and similar effects on people who were blinded, and I did it counterbalanaced. So it is definately true Electric qi emission proper does have a karmic link. Im not talking about the usual thing you see. The "assisted faqi" Thats something else entirely and not what people think
-
Do you not see the issue of closed mindedness and cynicism with the Fajin project? I mean sure, argue away if you dont think its a fighting thing, but these folk attack teachers no stop without ever having seen them. Whats odder to me is, its a few work to open the Laogong properly, to the point that the Qi reaches the palms to manipulate people without touching them to an extent This imo is even a stretch beyond fa jin. Not because its better, just because you can affect them without touching them, so the level of "woo" goes up. But its not hard at all with the right method You could literally prove this to yourself within a few weeks of decent training if you wanted to

I dont mean to be, so my apologies. Ive edited the post and hope it better reflects what Im trying to say (its an issue with the positon not the person)
-
My responses are not for you, so I think its ok to do so
-
Based on your statements about muscular force, Im wondering if you understand the issue with that position and the subtlties of taiji The work isnt done with the muscles. If you look at the image below of the chicken breast Its done with that stuff that looks like clingfilm (or saran wrap for americans)
-
Though he isnt my teacher, I always think Mark Rasmus is a fine example of someone who can demonstrate some of the more subtle aspets of Taiji His youtube is more valuable than some of the teachers I know charging extortionate amounts

Yes, understanding people who are struggling to get past their own disposition was a career of mine in the past as you know
-
Im pretty sure I already told you. Me explaining things to you is now off the table. Theres about 4 such people on this site who fall under that category. You all share a near identical disposition Until it changes, Im unwilling to be helpful im afraid Not because I dont want to,. It is simply because I know that the time and energy is better spent on people who it will benefit from it.

Either he's misrepresenting her, or shes not so amazing. I cant tell 100% 100% Sorry Chidragon, that kind of logic doesnt work here. We have objective ways of testing for Jin Its call Fa Jin If you cant Fa Jin, you;ve never experienced this, or at the least understand this, you really do not know what you are talking about, and would be well advised to listen to @dwai This has nothing whatsoever to do with muscular strength

I have experience of Longmen Pai in general yes. WLP's seminars cost so much money due to the locations and extra associated things (Translators fees) and so forth Its usually around 5k for 10 days. Consider its usually a 4 or 5 star hotel all inclusive, and by the time you add up flights, translators etc I dont think its unreasonable The methods are often quite advanced. He usually opens peoples channels via transmission and kicks off various other internal processes for them. A lot of what he teaches is Xinggong and sometimes Golden flower work nowadays Downside here being if you dont have a good foundation already, itll probably just be a nice experience and a lightshow, you wont have the development to internalize the extra energetic boost and bolster things to make them truly transformative But those who do have them things in place, do
-
Go have a read of that. The lesser reverted elixir is discussed in it. Should answer some questions Apologies, but willingness to explain things to you, and others of a similar disposition is quite low at the moment. So this will save you and I several pages of dialogue

Using the Sabre has nothing to do with Neidan im afraid You dont show any gong in this video as far as internal devleopment is concerned. In fact, you are demonstrating the complete opposite @dwai point is totally accurate. If you're using muscles its not right. The interal body is supposed to engage and the muscles get taken along for the ride, but they are the passenger To an untrained eye they might struggle with this. But dwai sees, it, and so do I This is not relevant You are doing a cardiovasucular workout in this video. It isnt indicative of qigong, neigong or neidan its a very nice external display. In fact, well done on learning the choreography, thats impressive in and of itself But we need to be clear about this. There is no internals in that video Taiji does not condition the muscles, Dwai stated the mechanic clearly. its about release. Its the complete opposite Sinking chi to the danitien is a part of neigong. Neidan is about the creation of an immortal vehicle that will allow one to transcend the transmigration cycle It involves the creation of an elixir or an embryo.
-
This isnt about connection in our understanding. You are not demonstrating a working internal body here, You are not using the Kua or the Huang for example The fascial connections do not appear to be made, so the movement is broken and done using the muscles exernally. The fascial web is not engaged and connected up how it should be, Its a very nice external display, Im impressed you memorised the movements and executed them that way But, I do not see the interal engine that makes Taiji work properly But aside from that. It really has nothing to do with Neidan, So im still really struggling to understand why you posted it
-
Breathing is not my concern here Id be more concerned about the fact even basic internal mechanics are absent from this video Its a nice external display, but the internal connection isnt there from where im sitting
-
I would be curious to know how exactly this relates to anything being discussed?
-
In a manner of speaking of course. Though how that value is directly or indirectly beneficial is a wider discussion, Indeed Im flattered and I appreciate the gesture, but I dont categorize myself in that way at all to be honest I believe I mentioned "not much" and never said "none". I was very careful when i worded that In fact counterproductive and even blatant disrespect afford one an opportunity to practice cultivation of mental qualities, and an opportunity to be of service Immeasurable is a term im careful of. I put that squarely in the category of variable. Often immeasureable is conflated are overly valuable, where I am more cautious with that
-
I think we are all limited to a degree by experience. However, that was also what I was referring to in regard to the value of an opinion. A person with little to no experience of something is unlikely to have an opinion of much value on that topic for obvious reasons. If they do have experience of it, then the discussion becomes far more complex This is not just limited to the arts. Its a much broader discussion too imo

Where to learn neidan/neigong properly ? + How i ended up here
Shadow_self replied to thewheelofortune's topic in Welcome
It would depend. There are plenty of people claiming their neigong to be authentic, yet I dont see it as such at all The reason I use the term verifiable is not just on the basis of history/lineage, but also on the basis of skill developed, skills transmitted to students, connection of the "internal body" benefits dsiplayed by the teacher themselves (And to a lesser degree, the students) Also id expect the teacher to be able to explain things in exceptional detail If it is passes all those tests, then id consider it verified as authentic/legitimate I've met a ton of people claiming to teach Yijinjing for example. I only know of two people who tick the above boxes, and are able to talk about it in a way that demonstrates they understand it fully (for example) -

I prefer the term verifiable lineage (with a traceable history) to be honest. Ive seen the worth authentic thrown around so much these days, I tend to gloss over it -
I dont think its a problem of open discussion or people joining in. I do question just how valuable an opinion is however. I think thats a far more nuanced discussion
-
You're the one who made a judgement (in fact I dont even agree with your judgement) You said Im just pointing out something to you. The most agreed upon comment (the majority) in this thread is the one I posted That comment is in opposition to what you are saying By your own metric, you are wrong So you should probably change your metric
-
If you say so ( I dont agree) But by your own metric, you are basically judged to be wrong

Where to learn neidan/neigong properly ? + How i ended up here
Shadow_self replied to thewheelofortune's topic in Welcome
Like I mentioned earlier, Neigong is a catch-all term. Neidan on the other hand is very specific Ive yet to see someone who's practicing Neigong exclusively, be able to discuss the details of Neidan at all Feel free to start another thread elsewhere on the topic if you wish, but lets not derail this one -
This was already addressed several posts back - I even created a space for it. Unfortunately that went ignored (as expected) To get back on topic I usually eat once or twice a day, but as mentioned, its very much a taxing thing while going through this phase of training If you are interested in what I eat : Mostly vegan food with a little lean beef
