  1. Intro/ Purpose

    Hello, this is my newcomer post. I play sports at a fairly competitive level and have been lifting weights (barbell/dumbbell/machine) for close to 9 months and have made great progress. I have held an interest in qigong and its many forms for a number of years now. I am for a form or style of qigong to help supplement my sport which is full contact but noncombat and my bodily development through weightlifting. I have read through other threads discussing how progress is made in qigong and the cultivation of qi weightlifting should be avoided. Looking to use qi to strengthen my body, mind, soul than to supplement strength for qi.
