oh it always changes, for long time I was more interested in causalities.

No. What I wrote before: being aware at a young age that people nearby perceive the āsameā world very differently, yet had the same methods of recognizing, senses, mind, etc. but an extremely different perspective about how to interpret or handle stuff. Must have been a sucker for harmony even back then, so the question was how; understand early on that their perception of the world was not āoneā. I still remember that moment, by preschool, at the fence next to it, it still is there (lots of small stones together as a fence, each their own universe, but somewhat undeniably connected, unless blunt force destroys that; and even then, maybe you can blend them together again with some plaster glue.)

As an āaccountantā, you mean? Guess so, Iāll have another cup of coffee and some breakfast. But thatās not what you meant, no?

You miss my point, but not here to argue. To me itās more a āshow! donāt tellā. Explaining is mostly telling, not showing. Currently Iām against the notion that thereās concrete steps to be followed; more a trust/faith/devotion or gravity issue (Mark Foote mentioned a sutra once, you might know, canāt find it, something like stepping from a several yards high pole or so). Becoming an accountant might do, why not! But I might not be buddhist enough, donāt know, if I have a path, teachers were people I meet on the streets and the like. Schroedinger was interesting, others too. Huh. I canāt show, I guess.

I would be wary of those⦠𫄠⦠as well as of paths that seem to show all steps fully, then something might be missing or itās already interpretation/āreligion/āscienceā, and not being there. my experience

LMAO, where does he say this, I say this too. He has a way with words, eh? Must have fenced me early on. That thing about one origin of consciousness, I have had it as well, as it baffled me how perceptions of close people could differ that much from each other, when yet they were using the same āinstrumentā. made my day.

My comment was directed at perception / observation and interpretation thereof in general concerning the thread topic. It might have been better to have asked, if āmagicalā isnāt always an āsubjective interpretationā? When one feels āin syncā with natural surroundings an inside feeling might coincide with outside happenings. Some would ascribe this to religion or alike, if a God Beeing is missing in their worldview. E.g. when it starts to snow when it hasnāt in a while and that falls into place with a feeling you havenāt had for a long time. Or recognizing a double rainbow at an ancient place above you after an emotional experience. Iām very sorry you took my comment personal, that wasnāt intended. I just reflected upon own observations, and you and Cobie might scould me (again) for being so unobservant to otherās possible experience and perceptions. Apologies! And thanks for clarifying: I wasnāt aware the sincere traditional Buddhists are as āplayfulā as to consider such a subjective interpretation of events as their path. I always thought they were foremost going for āobjectivityā or oneness without suffering. Not personal peace with another person through connection. But that was indeed an element I hadnāt thought about. If that is indeed a solid traditional interpretation of what this branch of Buddhism is about, I am glad to know that now. So Vajrayana is a special way of subjective āconnectingā and interpreting? I might pm you about this question as it strays from the topic, even if it were a ancient tradition thereof.

isnāt anything āmagicalā if you havenāt had it in a while?

Do we need to know Oneness? If Oneness includes all the psycho-paths it has to offer? Isnāt Oneness an extreme in itself? What about being friendly connected but with clear boundaries? As people who meet other people in between plane changes? Well, that quote was from a movie before terrorists conquered planes. But, it might do as a metaphor. Is the spiritual way aiming at what ddj ch.5 proposes? What happens to the heart?

I always found spiritual people creepy. that never changed. even with comparing traditions. but I try not to cling to the feeling. thatās why I came here to the dao bums. some fear had to leave. regarding the guy, - havenāt heard from him before, my comment included no recommendation or judgement. just observing.

are you sure they were? doesnāt seem they internalized his teaching (above) about not clinging. noli me tangereā¦
