Hi, I stumbled across this site looking for something else but the answers may actually be here...
I was raised Catholic, learned to despise the church for various reasons, learned acceptance through Buddhist teachings and later discovered Taoism. Later still while looking for a local community to engage with I found a Christian church and was actually surprised how much of what I've learned actually aligned with the Bible. Well, as long as you read it with an open mind and view it as a parable, not as the literal word...
I would love a more open place but honestly I've been accepted well and the energy is great there. I've done some meditations during the prayer sessions and was blown away at how much easier it was...
Not sure what the right path is but I will say that there is definitely more out there than what we can see with our eyes. I've had too many experiences that cannot be described in worldly terms for it not to be.
Anyway, I'm off to lurk around a bit. Nice meeting everyone.
