Hi everyone,
I've read the DDJ on and off for the last few years and am getting deeper in my reading of it. I'm in my 30s and am a psychotherapist. I'd love to ask questions and learn from you all!
I'm posting one question here (mainly so I don't forget it) that I'll ask again in the DDJ group:
In Red Pine's translation of the first chapter, he writes "no-name is the maiden of Heaven and Earth". I am confused what 'maiden' means in this context. In Addis and Lombardo's translation, they use 'origin' instead of maiden. But a maiden is a virgin and has not yet given birth. Any ideas on this would be appreciated. I like Red Pine's translation of the chapter very much, but I keep getting snagged on 'maiden'.
Thank you
