Hi Sifu Terry, Regarding the practice near cemeteries, I was actually searching for a place to practice on my lunch break near my new workplace! There is a park nearby but it is too open, and it’s not really the safest of areas, lots of shady characters around so I don’t want to be with my eyes closed for too long there. However next to the park is a cemetery with a fence around it which looked like a safer and more private place to practice. Yesterday I was thinking of practicing at the cemetery so walked there during my lunch break. As I was walking past the cemetery looking for a spot to practice I felt very uneasy, almost scared. I thought it was because I didn’t feel safe in case I would get robbed while practicing with eyes closed but it could be like you said that I’ve developed a sense of where to practice and could feel that something was wrong about doing it in or near a cemetery. Very interesting!

Thank you for sharing! It does seem really clear what he is talking about if you do similar practices. Really insane how similar it is.

But once you have experienced the things in these myths in real life, you will see that there is some truth to them.

My wife was with me so I did neither. However I did buy £100 worth of more scratch cards and didn’t win much back. Nowadays I’m not as greedy when I win.

What I mean is someone who only talks (but doesn’t practice) cannot be called a true master. What have they mastered? Reading? Words without practice are meaningless.

Look at all major prophets in every major religion. Usually at some point in their life there is a period of meditation, fasting etc. Even with saints we have stories of healing with hands or other “miracles”. Someone who reads a book and can talk about it is just someone who read a book. Not a “master”.

One time I was at some crystals/new agey shop and when I paid at the cashier the girl gave me £1 change back and said “I hope you have a lucky day” or something along those lines. I felt like that coin was lucky, or whatever she said meant that I would be lucky with whatever I did next. So I bought a £1 scratch card and ended up winning £100 from it.

I will never develop an arrogance of ego. But that’s because my practices are so much better than everyone else’s and I’m a better person too. I’m also extremely humble.
