This is such a hilarious thread. I don’t understand why someone would keep on trying to engage in conversation when the other person is clearly saying not to do it here. Tubar is my new favourite word -

I don’t blame them for disappearing after they have to put up with so many stupid arguments when they are just trying to help others.

Sometimes it’s better not to say anything at all if you have nothing to good to say. Comments like this have absolutely no value and are a waste of everyone’s time.

@effilang I like the history of your school. Did you learn from them in Indonesia or China? Edit: had a read through old threads and found the answer!- 88 replies

FREE Healing & Activation for Neidan (Xiao Yao Pai)
-ꦥꦏ꧀ ꦱꦠꦿꦶꦪꦺꦴ- replied to effilang's topic in Systems and Teachers of
Quite an interesting experience. I initially started off before reading the instructions and did my usual seated stillness with hands in dyana mudra position. I found that I could breathe much slower than usual and was able to concentrate better. After around 20 minutes I had to adjust my seating position and saw the instructions to properly connect with Xuan. I put my hands in the relevant position and did the intention. Soon after that it felt like a jacuzzi in my head, an effect I sometimes experience from qigong, accompanied by images of outer space. Throughout the meditation I didn’t see much except blue, most of physical affects were being able to breathe much deeper and much slower than usual, and I felt some energy around my shoulder blades. Towards the end I had to adjust my seating position again, re did the connecting process and experienced the same effect which was quite interesting. Looking forward to join again and highly recommend everyone tries a session!- 88 replies

It depends. Some people are born with them, some develop them through practice, some gain them from going through a traumatic or other experiences. It’s not specific to any tradition/faith/belief in my opinion.

He is, don’t bother engaging with him

@blkmgk if it’s Kundalini that you are looking for, get in touch with Santiago Dobles from Kundalini Awakening Process. His email is on this link: https://kundaliniawakeningprocess.com/blog/kap-instructor-santiago-dobles/

They exist. If you haven’t met anyone with genuine siddhi you need to search harder.

Welcome to the Dao Bums! Check out Authentic Neigong by Rudi for something similar to Damo’s Lotus academy. There are a few threads about it too if you have a look https://authenticneigong.com/

If you know the Long Form Sifu Terry recommends doing it 2 to 3 times in a row to help get rid of illness. Try those pills if your symptoms get worse. Hope you recover soon!

Hi Beep, When I had covid I found that FP helped me recover. If you are bedbound do Monk Holds Pearl lying down. Also take these pills: Lianhua Qingwen. It will make you have a bad stomach but they help with covid symptoms.

Health benefits and fitness are some reasons, but who says you shouldn’t fight back? Defending yourself from someone is completely different from going around challenging everyone you see. The point is to fight only as a last resort, and to fight fast to end the threat.- 66 replies

Yes this is the important part, some people are not worth learning from and have nothing of value to offer

Good, so at least they are only wasting their time, not their money I know right? If you aren’t even feeling a bit of electric during basic level practices then what are you even doing?
-
I don’t know enough to give a definite answer to what it is exactly, but it does feel like an electric shock. Not like static on the surface but a strong electric current. If you look at some of the videos their muscles tense as the qi goes through, similar to the effects of electricity. Edit: so according to my teacher it’s just qi, but feels like electricity

Easier to sit and home and type away pretending to be an expert instead of actually going out in the world to find things out for yourself. Quite a shame really.
