    @Thrice Daily I would try doing it once a week and see how you feel. If it’s still too draining then do it every 2 weeks. After a while you will probably be able to do it more often. Ideally you would have a daily neigong practice to constantly replenish and cultivate more qi.

  15. Formula for what?

    Welcome! The formula is simple, it’s how many decades you’ve been alive. Use that number to determine how many days you should keep in between finishing. For example if you are 43 you keep 4 days in between each time you finish. Ideally you keep way more than that but don’t obsess about it. If it happens it happens, just keep it in moderation like everything else. Enjoy your time here!

    There is mouth breathing where you only breathe through the mouth. Or when you breathe in through nose and out through the mouth. Then there is triangle breathing: and box breathing: Countless other breathing techniques too.

    Proper YJJ is very draining, not something you should do every day as it uses up qi. But is very good for you.
