Wang Mu - Foundations of Internal Alchemy - The Taoist Practice of Neidan

I tried some stuff out from that book and then my vision went red for a night. Would not recommend for non students of him or one of his lot -

Merely a coincidence! -

It’s more like Western science is missing parts that Chinese and other Eastern sciences know of. I’m sure in our lifetime there will be a Western scientist that “discovers” qi and names it after themselves. Will get a Nobel prize for it too. -
What is the dan in neidan and dan tian? 丹

Some things are just true, no matter what people personally believe. A lot of the physical side effects that happen with Daoist cultivation also happen in non Daoist traditions. Mine too. -

My friend, we have a brand new toy to save us time in this situation -
This is all very strange. It’s not like we are all using our real names, locations or other personal data. Why give the mods such a hard time over this?

I’m not sure if thedaobums.com counts as a company that offers goods or services to EU residents, or monitors the online behaviour of EU citizens. source: https://www.enzuzo.com/blog/does-gdpr-apply-to-citizens-outside-the-eu

Sorry, I couldn’t resist testing it out I like this feature

Sounds about right. At least some good has come from all this. If anyone still thinks he’s a credible source and still wastes their time trying to learn from him, they only have themselves to blame.
-
Sad. Don’t bother wasting your time anymore @Shadow_self He’s not even quoting his sacred texts anymore, just anything from random kung fu websites that agree with what he says
-
Maybe the real neidan is the friends we make along the way
-
This is getting quite sad now, I don’t think I can be bothered anymore. The mental gymnastics here deserves an Olympic gold. Have fun guys, I feel like I’ve wasted enough time.
-
Does he even read the books he posts? Or only chooses to share the parts that he agrees with

Do you think our friend wears the robe when he meets the other immortals for their monthly book club?
-
-
Yes let’s all pretend that our practices are working. Just have a little faith!
-
Yes, if these things don’t manifest, you aren’t making progress. Our friend here likes to deny it because it’s better than admitting he’s been wasting years doing something that doesn’t work. Easier to pretend in your head that you’ve made progress and say that everyone else is wrong instead of actually leaving your house to find out the truth.
-
If your books told you to jump off a cliff, would you do it?
-
I do not believe any instructions in a book are complete. From my experience you are taught the basics from books, videos or even in person training. Then, when you are ready, either in development or can be trusted, your teacher will share the complete instructions. People like our friend here who swears by books only and shuns learning from a teacher will simply never have the complete instructions to develop anything. Imagine having all this knowledge and secrets, then simply writing them all down for any idiot to take from a leaked pdf online.
-
The funny thing is, when you have a legitimate practice, you don’t need any faith at all. You don’t even need to believe that it works. It works regardless of what you or others think.
-
LOL this is amazing, I can’t believe people on this site take you seriously

The warm up ones. They aren’t actually warm ups, the name is misleading. They should be part of your regular practice. -
It’s the only way to find out who is really immortal and who’s not
