For millennia humans have recounted their experiences with non-physical intelligences - even being saved from disaster. Fortunately humans now know that only material things exist. I once had complaints about people becoming scared at night on a forest path through a local nature reserve. They had never heard of any local crime. When I went to see the place at night there was a dark cloud a bit bigger than a human, near a junction in the path. So I stepped into the cloud and suddenly could not see the leaves on the path. The dark cloud was a thick darkness. So I took the dark energy through myself and then discharged it upwards. Then I could see the leaves on the path again. There were no more reports of being scared. It turned out that there had been a suicide just there in 1918 by an escaped German POW.

Things die. Does awareness die also? How will you test the proposition?

I think that might be morality rather than the underlying Reality of Existence On which plane does Reality exist?

If people reincarnate on death - why and how have so many traditions ancestor worship
Lairg replied to Takingcharge's topic in General Discussion
It seems as if the solar angels that commonly seek to overlight human soul bodies (neschama) cultivate up to a dozen human incarnations each at once. This increases the chance of developing a human transparent to divine light. The parallel processing also allows learning transfer, often in dreams. Once a human is sufficiently transparent to light, the solar angel withdraws and the human progresses through the stages of enlightenment and beyond. In my observation of deceased relatives, they have all been allocated to appropriate learning groups until their next incarnation. Incarnation is usually with individuals known well in earlier lives. It often takes quite a few lives to establish a balanced and constructive relationship. -
Please does anyone know a book or video that teaches scholarly/wisdom qigong or meditative techniques for boosting brain performance

There is a saying: When all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail In this context it may be worth recalling that people resuscitated from death (no electrical brain waves) often report what they were thinking and feeling when their brain had no function And it is hard to remember dreams after being awake for a few minutes Thus we can distinguish mind function from brain function and have three areas of interest: - mind function (on mental plane) - brain function (on physical/etheric plane) - interface that connects the brain to mental energies. All three need to be properly functional: - Physical toxins can damage the brain. Adverse entities can interfere with the brain - Physical and psychological shocks can dislodge the interface, causing memory loss and dementia - Mental function can be disturbed by training/beliefs and by adverse entities The mind is not tied to this timeline and it needs a clean brain in which to anchor in a human body. Karma is also common issue. When I was young, I never met an old person with dementia. Now they seem everywhere. Similarly with autism. Time to learn about the brain and the mind.- 13 replies

I doubt that - unless Reality changes too. Perhaps the flow that generates enlightenment is from a higher plane. Thus there is in-lightenment as inflow of light generates a new functionality in the human mind - the first of a series of upgrades to mental function

I am not sure how Sufi is the author, but here is a reasonable if religious account of djinns https://horusastropalmist.wordpress.com/2015/09/07/part-one-djinns-the-truth-about-supernatural-beings/ While I do not use religious terminology/beliefs, much of my experience parallels that account

It is said that our god is currently a god of love - having been a god of intelligence before the solar systemic pralaya. And after the next pralaya our god will aspire to be a god of will. It may be that practising right relationships is our best contribution to this phase of the solar system

I had rather hoped that the higher will had some function in the cosmos. For example, is it useful to intend that Earth humanity becomes enlightened?

Also the nature spirits of the chakras get passed along in families

Personally I hope to finish better than AC. Did he die in poverty living in a boarding house? And my two observations of him in his post-mortem state were not better. Still, each chooses their own path.

With ground-penetrating radar in satellites it is easy to detect the remains of ancient cities. Does Google Earth have a large blurred area west of Tibet? Is Shambhala etheric rather than dense physical? Is "west" an energy reference rather than a geographical reference? -

Most humans have dark energy lines attached to feed off and control them. So while meditating, put your attention in the light in your heart. From there inspect all parts of your body for dark lines and dark blockages. Push light from your heart into the dark bits and require them to show you their own light -
If people reincarnate on death - why and how have so many traditions ancestor worship
Lairg replied to Takingcharge's topic in General Discussion
Usually it takes time before reincarnation occurs. Both my parents entered graded classes immediately after death. My mother is learning energy work and my father, relationship. After World War 2, there was a great rush to reincarnate. Many lives were cut short before achieving goals and many wanted to make the grade before the cut-off in about 1997. Family gestalts seem to extend across many lives. A few years after I was married, I disliked touching my wife, when she complained, I looked into it and it turned out there was a feud between our family gestalts. That certainly explained strange things about the marriage day. For example one of her brothers threatened not to come into the ceremony and reception but sit out in his car and drink. He was a policeman. So I fixed the feuding gestalts. I forced a merger and a few minutes later 95% of my reluctance to touch was gone. It was never a problem again Ancestor interference in families is quite common so traditional societies try to keep the ancestors quiet. Some cultures bury their parents bodies where they will not decompose quickly in the hope that the parents will hang around and assist the descendants. Sometimes that works. I lived next to a farm. When the farmer died I could feel his hanging around - as could his widow. When she sold the farm he was gone immediately -
All good then!

Most of the humans that I look at have adverse intelligences attached to their brain to censor brain-thoughts and feed in misleading thoughts. -
It does seem like adverse entities attend to you - mostly anchoring dark threads in your back The primary process in dealing with such is to increase the flow of Divine Light into the heart and to use heart-light to alter the state of the adverse beings https://www.thedaobums.com/topic/53886-healing/?tab=comments#comment-988597 There may be permissions you have given but the Divine Light will eventually lift you above the planes/subplanes on which the permissions exist.

I thought it was a compass - they are usually horizontal, unlike a ship's wheel that is vertical So the "magnetic" nature of the heart of the Ancient of Days drew the visitor directly Step into the scene and ask the wolf/dog from where he comes? The "eagle" is more conventionally double headed, but afaik only in northern hemisphere countries. One head looks to manage the Earth and the other to manage external relationships Arguably the eagle is really a phoenix. -
What exactly is carlos castaneda's "personal power" ?

I knew a woman that made her living by massaging hospital patients nearing death. What they needed was for (the intelligence of) the physical body to relax, then all would take its natural course. She did not charge for the massages but the dying people kept giving her things they could not use, including a car -

The drawing is called "allegory of boat, wolf and eagle" https://www.leonardodavinci.net/allegory-of-boat-wolf-and-eagle.jsp#prettyPhoto As usual materialistic humans interpret the allegory in terms of what they know. The Chinese know of the wolf star. It is Sirius. Isis was supposed to come from Sirius -

Lairg replied to waterdrop's topic in General Discussion
I knew a woman that used to go to Castaneda's group. She said that most of the time he was quite ordinary but occasionally he was a real Nagual (spiritual teacher) From her observation I might deduce that Castaneda was not using qi or he would have been a Nagual much more often I learned quite a lot from his accounts of Don Juan, including being able to see the personal death being standing behind the left shoulder of each live human. Afaik that appears nowhere else in western literature. From the attitude/actions of the death being it is possible to assess how close the human is to death. Sometimes the death being will cooperate. I had a female friend whose mother had had dementia for years and was in care. So we asked the mother's death being to take her. Nothing happened. A year later we tried again and the mother was gone within a week. -

Are you American? I used to live in a spiritual community that was half from the US. I had real doubts about their education system
