  1. Unfortunately, many "Teachers" are essentially fueling desires; they are akin to drug dealers or opium sellers. Their appeal for it is understandable. Consider any power structure: if you assist people with their desires or even promise salvation or to fulfill them by a specific date (X), you are creating a dependency link. Wealth, money, attention, and power flow in. The more cult followers and recognition exists, the higher the status and individual power. At some point they become untouchable by law and reason. While naive followers may believe their teacher is an ascended, supreme spiritual being, and even if he commits a vile act, it is for the sake of all humanity (surely), in reality, that being enjoys the rather physical attributes of their position. Selling happiness is certainly one of the biggest dopamine-selling businesses out there. Happiness is not what you need or what you would truly want. Something that clouds your mind like an addiction and does not allow to see a bigger picture. Emotions in itself are a massive trap and pitfall on the cultivation path.
  2. I have never learned anything from books. I had real teachers, practice partners, study groups.

To no one's surprise, Mother Seagull feeds her children with fish caught in the ocean. She does not feed them with images or words describing a fish. The young Seagull, taking in the food, is able to grow, learn, and develop to a point where he can travel on his own and hunt for a fish. Again, a real one, not lectures, not words, not books describing a fish.

In reality it is not even oral, verbal passing of knowledge is still the external method. If we talk about any internal, spiritual and esoteric teaching, the essence of teaching comes from the energy and mental imprints shared by Teacher. Good luck for anyone to record it in words, and pass via a book. Can anyone describe a 12-dimensional object in 2-dimensional space of a book? The language humans use in any country simply does not have terms that would be able to represent spiritual realms.
  5. I suggest that you read all the scamgong articles on the website before making a choice. A lot of newcomers are being manipulated and tricked. Especially the term authentic proven lineage, when those documents were given literally to everyone by state law. They have no means of control who teaches it and have no means of authentication or certification. They don't even know who is a part of lineage or not. https://ancientmasters.org/library/scamgong-fraud As far as sensing Qi goes it is fairly elementary practice that can be acquired to a good level in several months (not years). You can develop full body sensitivity to a point of walking blindfolded in a forest and avoiding all trees by sensing their aura (energy fields).
  6. So, an ounce of common sense. Sitting and unifying with the cosmos: does not grow any physical muscles; it does not train or develop brain cells. If you are not aware of your subtle energy bodies, you cannot sense them, then you will never be able to exercise them or develop any underlying ability that would be necessary to actually step out and work with cosmic forces. I am answering the common question of why astral travel and visualization are fundamental practices in cultivation. Suppose anyone wants to develop and not fantasize about being Goku melding with the cosmos. In that case, they have to do a very specific kind of work and exercises under the guidance of Master and not read this stuff in public books or Reddit posts. The difficulty of training in a proper school increases as the skill progresses. That work takes years; unlike cosplay spirituality, it is also not an easy path. Spirituality is more complex than a gym, because majority of practitioners don't have a Third Eye open, they cannot see subtle planes and they cannot objectively see any spiritual progress. Which is why delusion and many other pitfalls are extremely widespread. People relying on external signs as markers of progress. "You have sweet saliva, it means MCO has opened, and not, certainly not diabetes".
  7. Scamgong teachers have a tendency to bring their personal pathological flaws into masses. I.e. turning spirituality, daoist path, self-development and enlightenment, into a cozy pub, with sportcars, whiskey and cigars, e.t.c. Beer talks about Vajrayana, Buddhism, Daoism, Sages of the past, Shen, Zen, Ming, Xing, endless bla bla. People even wonder what is the problem? Degradation is the new norm, of 2023. Main thing you have a spiritual authority behind with a large crowd of followers to support it.
  8. I had personally seen Sadguru mock, insult, and berate a young woman in public when she asked him a question he could not easily answer. Instead of admitting, "I don't know, I cannot answer". The video can be found online if you search well. He used crowd control techniques there to ridicule and laugh at her publicly. He is not a man of any high morals or ethical principles. I will go further to say he has nothing to do with the teachings he sells; he simply hired someone to write him a yoga teaching program and hired instructors to teach it. It may actually be alright if it does not have much of Sadguru's own ideas about yoga, which are new age/questionable at best. This statement is right, which also means that for any internal practitioner and cultivator, things like smoking, drinking, weed, or any other substance are useless. Weak Minds ingest substances to alter their state of mind and compensate for one or another problem they have in life formed through their internal flaws and imperfection. While our methods, for example, can lead to a massive "getting high" experiences, I would be wary of using it as the main selling point to the masses to avoid drug addicts and junkies joining our classes for the sake of getting high itself, rather than spiritual development and improvement of a character. Getting high is merely a byproduct of filling and harmonizing self with energy through cultivation; it is never a goal or addiction. If you had a dry river internally for all your life that suddenly has a massive inflow of water, and plants sprout on it, you will feel it positively. If you get a beginner energy body going and internal pressure bouncing you off the ground when you walk, with a dense resin energy between your hands, it will impact your well-being and mood.
  9. Sadhguru is a public attention seeking celeb, he will talk whatever makes him more popular and rich. Easy answers and easy solutions are well accepted in masses.
  10. Women in Eastern Tradition (taboo)

Lurkers don't have access to Discord; you are required to show basic manners on entry and write "Hello, I am Helgaferae," then you gain a role. Self-development is not about sitting and satisfying your ego with various thoughts. You either practice and develop daily and progress internally, or you don't. It is your choice, and you have been given a fair chance and opportunity. Do not blame ancient traditions, texts, or masters. It could not have been easier than it is now to start the cultivation path.
  11. Women in Eastern Tradition (taboo)

I am curious how long it will take for you to get a discord access, so you can start asking questions there or start proper training.

  13. 3 months doing Fragant QiGong and..

Because doing random things advertised and promoted on the internet forums does not lead anywhere. Internet is full of cults and mass delusion (psychosis). It takes only a minute to find out that Fragrant Qigong creator, ascended demigod, best Qigong practitioner in the world, died of liver cancer in early 60s. His family secretly buried the body without telling authorities, to keep milking the cult for the money. As usual story per se, it was practiced for 100,000 years by monks, and was kept secret, until some Chinese saint decided to bless the world with the great wisdom and gift of heavens.
  14. As I mentioned earlier, suggestions and affirmations have their place and can be effective. Similarly, guided meditations work well for those who are new to meditation and spirituality, but may not be ready to fully immerse themselves in the practice. However, if you train your mind properly and develop your energy bodies, you can reach a much deeper level of practice that is far more potent. Regarding health, it is critical to understand that humans can confuse their senses and perception of their own health. This means that when you are actually experiencing health issues, you may still feel positive and healthy, which can overwrite important signals from your body. This can prevent you from receiving proper diagnoses and qualified treatment in a timely manner, potentially leading to negative outcomes. Consider how painkillers work. Pain is a signal from the body, and by taking painkillers, you are removing that signal without actually fixing the underlying issue. This can lead you down the wrong path. Each of these New Age miracle healers likely has a long list of individuals who were misled, denied proper treatment, and ultimately developed serious illnesses, leading to tragic consequences. You can keep practicing those methods just be mindful of delusion.
  15. You are lying, a first click on the website and recordings (not live sessions) of level 4 seminar cost $1100. There is another business selling instructor certification for $3000. A network marketing scheme where you profit from promising others that they can also profit. Rest assured, before stating anyone is a scammer, we are scanning those people and their instructors. However, this guy will not require ESP skills or Third Eye abilities to identify a problem - that something is wrong here. A general rule of thumb with any scamgong teacher is that a golden goose cannot give birth to fly eggs. A high-level teacher will produce appropriate results for his students. That is why looking at senior students of any given teacher is a good sign of reality vs. fantasy. Looking at this video briefly, I have never seen so many 'positive' affirmations being done. It is good to have a view of the method taught by the senior instructor. There is a massive problem with affirmations, not that it is a totally not-working thing, they can do something, but people can easily delude themselves into believing affirmation, and when we talk about healing, this is all getting way worse. Health is an objective reality that can be diagnosed with medical facilities. Your feeling of being healthy is just a sensation and a feeling. A person can "feel very healthy" and die on the same day. Selling "feel yourself healthy" and selling health is a big insurmountable gap. I don't have any interest, I only looked briefly into the guy and his "method" after someone asked on our discord. If you like being scammed and wasting time on shady practices it is your choice. But with claims that teacher X healed thousands of people from incurable diseases and cancer, It is on his side to prove it. If even 0.01% of his healing cases were true and real, the whole world would know of him as the best cancer healer. He would have long been a billionaire. If he is lying, which he does, tells a lot about his moral principles and priorities in life. Healing sells well, because so many people are unhealthy and sick. He is a typical snake oil seller.
  16. Hello, Chunyi Lin is a scammer. Selling all those phone call healings and claiming to have miraculously cured thousands people from cancer. His training goes into pyramid scheme, level 1 costs 1x$, level 2 costs 2x$, level 4 costs 10x$. His instructors (certified to teach) look unwell both physically and mentally. I can guess what he is teaching is entry level energy practice, with no access to anything profound or deep.
  17. To induce stagnation and qi deviation, resulting in a perpetual impediment to personal development, is a course of action that may be pursued by some. However, in the event that such endeavors fail to yield any siddhi, one may find solace in the consumption of whiskey, heavy alcohol, and cigars.
  18. The method here is to spend 5-hours a day posting on facebook/reddit/forums to spread an online cult based on a delusion experienced by self-initiate person who confuses svadhistana and manipura, and has no clear goal or attainment in cultivation. Self-initiation is dangerous, you might do a half-step and believe your a master, you have nothing to compare yourself with, no assessment model, no tests and exams.
  19. Yes, you can rewire and reprogram self through genuine practice. Solving past traumas is also possible.
  20. Is Mastering Doism/Yin Chi Key To Astral Projection?

There are people genuinely afraid of facing the reality beyond physical. With genuine evolution and spiritual development, your perception will go beyond physical realm, seeing energies, spirits, closely interacting with spiritual world. If this does not happen, you are not developing, not spiritually for sure.
  21. Women in Eastern Tradition (taboo)

If only instead of looking for ego gratification on online forums, you would cultivate yourself. Women have high potential in spiritual arts and magic, but few have the dedication and will to go through the training.
  22. Is Mastering Doism/Yin Chi Key To Astral Projection?

Theory detached from reality and practice is spiraling out of control delusion. Some of this thread's content reads like children talking about Santa Claus. You can check our article on astral projection; it is based on real-world experience. No religious unverified dogmas passed from the ancient secret Daoist sect of the dragon-gate lineage. https://ancientmasters.org/library/other-worlds
  23. Authentic golden body

Energy fields, or more exactly, energy cocoon surrounding the human being, is what we see. It is what a trained Adept in Magic with a developed third eye can see with his eyes without any ritual, imagination or belief. It is non-surprising that saints or cultivators are portrayed with a glow surrounding them. All people have this energy glow. Those further on the path will have a more powerful/intense, and widespread energy field.
  24. How to make own qigong set ?

@waterdrop To make your own "anything", you have to be a master in the respective field, not a beginner, not an intermediate. These people would not ask questions on public forums looking for advice and help. Higher level knowledge cannot be found in public and open places. At that level you can easily pick up apart and find errors and flaws in existing systems.
  25. New Age Daoist Mumbo Jumbo Teachings Looks to me like complete joke and waste of time. if these are foundations, they are foundations of not having any abilities or skills that are required to partake in the cultivation journey maybe you will end up smoking cigars and drinking whiskey, though, who knows for some, it is attainment in life people should notice no single word about the brain, mental, emotional, ethical and personal development above, spiritual development? - never going to happen Teaching through online pre-recorded videos is profanation-quackery as there is no real contact between teacher and student. There is no transmission, feedback, tracking, or control. It could be used as extra material, like books, but not as main teaching. People learning from external materials are usually stuck in superficial layers of self-development practice.
