Similarly, for a virgin to have sexual contact or for a beggar to get wealth. Some people feel special when they sense qi for the first time. For a person who lived thousands of years in the past, airplanes and cars would be supernatural. For an Adept of Ancient Arts, interaction with multidimensional reality, sentient beings of other worlds, higher energies, and having siddhis are day-to-day activities. It is not any more supernatural activity than making a toast for breakfast

Alchemical elixirs exist in magic tradition, and it is not some mystical substance or something as trivial as juice or blood. It is the liquid electrolyte-rich carrier drink imbued and charged with massive spiritual force. It can be scented or brewed with herbs and certain minerals, but those are not the main components. It is hard to come by unless you live nearby with an alchemical specialist, can afford this kind of product, and have access to it with your school or teacher. As Master manually creates each elixir, the charge in a drink does not last long either. There is no way they will sell those to random untrained uninitiated people. Those things are never sold or advertised on open market. Someone who is taking elixir must know all the required practices to use it for cultivation purposes and not just steam with energy overload. Everything you can read in books and myths about elixirs is missing the central part, an enlightened powerful being spending his time to charge and alter the quality of a substance. As for fruit juices, overload of sugar - fructose has similar impact on the liver as alcohol. That's the reason why frugivores age and die prematurely.

Asking questions is the right thing to do, having a critical thinking ability also should be encouraged. So why even go to school? Or university? Why learn maths and physics from Teachers? Why train martial arts or sports with professional coaches? You see no value in it, so why humanity has been doing this "nonsensical pretense" for generations? Any real achievements on the cultivation path require many right factors and many years of effort.

Practicing without a teacher always leads to one or another issue. You have no idea what you are doing and why, no path forward, no progression, no siddhi, and it will probably take as much time if not more to undo what you have done to yourself.

The cult grows on wishful thinking, cognitive bias, and ignorance. Preachers and followers of non-eating autonomous lifestyle religions are unaware of the basics of physics and biology. Scamgong teachers sell breatharianism seminars while eating food, cynically pushing followers into a dangerous lie. OP should rethink his path, as many who followed this one already have tombstones.

I wonder how people would proceed with the trial and error approach when it is not something in their imagination but a real tangible chance to die or suffer pain and chronic disease worse than death with each step made, and you have to make more than 9999+ steps. Also, how would one think if they were locked in a closed room with a safe strongbox where you need to enter a code to proceed and survive The number of possible combinations when opening the safe is 9 trillion, and only one of them is opening the door. Both scenarios are reality for people without a path of cultivation and without tradition/teacher.

The whole reason women avoid you is that you are "Obsessed." Women are intuitive beings and pick up all the false and pretense, and they would feel if a person is a weirdo and avoid him. It would be best to forget the idea of kind, benevolent alien gods helping everyone to ascend. This unhealthy entitlement to other beings doing "your" work is the primary reason many fail at development and cultivation. People don't want to do anything alone, waiting until some deity appears and solves their problems. However sweet the idea can be, it is nothing but wishful thinking. I know powerful beings, and they all mind their own business. Even to look at the hypothesis, "helping humanity to ascend" would be akin to doing homework for your child. In contrast, you can do it once or twice. Eventually, you will get a dependent child who cannot develop and grow skills/qualities, as you have done his homework for him—stolen the valuable experience.

Initiation in Magic is real thing. It is not passed through "books" and to random people. Thus, you can never learn Magic from reading books or from listening to lectures. Same reason, that you can never learn Magic from someone who is not a Magus himself and not Initiated. The process involves Master transmitting non-verbally qualities and keys to practice directly onto students mental fields. A practice that otherwise would not be possible to make and doors/path that would never open, thus becomes possible to walk. Not everyone is getting initiated of those who seek training, as the traditional selection process is rational and has strict requirements. Applicant has to show all the right qualities and prerequisites, and be capable of doing practices. Someone who shows mental instability for example or lack of ethical conduct would not be given initiation.

I have checked this Mark Rasmus guy linked above. And he even has 167+ videos course on initiation into hermetic. It is funny how he has no initiation and no level (absolute zero) of development in magic and is trying to teach things he has no clue about. He could have enrolled in our Foundation program at his level, but passing it would be difficult and unlikely. Once you learn too much junk/fake esoteric arts, developing properly can become too difficult or impossible. It is like a broken vessel that can not be filled with water. You have to rebuild the whole structure. Also, those energetic manipulations he has shown on a dummy student are useless. Him, teaching martial arts and fajin is another joke; in any fight with any beginner MMA, he won't stand more than 2 seconds upright condition.

Working with the weather, you need to consider the overall balance of the atmosphere. Instead of a lineage like in Chinese arts from teacher to student, that is subject to death/corruption/lost practices over time. Masters of Magic cultivate full consciousness, or immortality of self, and pass the knowledge to themselves, continuing cultivation through centuries. When you cultivate dan tien, it does not matter if you get to a level of John Chang or above; you will lose it and everything accumulated upon death. High-level Masters of Magic can save their crucial progress and spiritual qualities in the tradition and progress further with each consecutive rebirth. Most importantly, starting to develop at a young age and being in control of your future life. It may seem that Magic tradition is dead or non-existent sometimes, but Masters reincarnate and don't bother teaching or being public.
