Correlation between Hindu and Daoist alchemical concepts
Invisible Acropolis replied to dwai's topic in General Discussion
now see if you can figure out how this alchemical knowledge was later synthesized into the various dramatic characters known as the Tarot, during the renaissance in Venice (as an attempt to preserve it) - in the earliest known system of modern psychological archetypes, for the purpose of "personal transformation" and "self cultivation" -

the spectrum of silence (& space/time)

people often stir up emotions to distract themselves.. most people tend to favor drama and noise over recognition and silence, because that is what society trains people to do its typically lauded as some kind of "victory of humanity" to express some or another highly charged emotion based on your idea of how important you are or how much of some object or another you have accumulated people typically seek to avoid the plain truth which exposes who they are in actuality (as in, how they act)... but rather they are much more obsessed and intensely engaged in narrating endless stories and tales and dramatic productions about who they dream of being and all the other dreamy dreams that go along with it the action of ignoring every bit of truth becomes who they actually are - as in, "ignorant" i. e. being continually engaged in the activity of ignorance countless varieties of emotions are used to accomplish this kind of distraction emotions arent "inherently valid" just because "feelings" or whatever... thats ridiculous your choices in the moment determine who you actually are... your actions determine who you are in actuality... not your stories about your actions or your dreams about your stories of who you dream of being

the spectrum of silence (& space/time)
Invisible Acropolis replied to old3bob's topic in General Discussion
Time changes not, but all things change in time. For time is the force that holds events separate, each in its own proper place. Time is not in motion, but ye move through time as your consciousness moves from one event to another. Aye, by time yet exist, all in all, an eternal ONE existence. Know ye that even though in the time ye are separate, yet still are ONE, in all times existent. - Thoth the Atlantean, 1939 -
Your thoughts and views on buddhism indicate a lack of understanding and familiarity with the actual teachings themselves as they were originally presented and recorded in the ancient texts (preceding the mahayana reformation after Siddhartha 's death) but rather you seem to have much more familiarity with the various commercial industries which have grown around it in order to capitalize on various profit opportunities of different sorts (not always cash money). Your concerns lead me to wonder how much interest you have in such profits yourself, rather than leading me to any sort of "new information" which you seem to believe you are presenting here. I wont disagree that from a modern civilized perspective, many of the ancient buddhist thoughts and traditions are seen as "uncivilized" and strange and even harmful (for example the focus on being homeless as well as the misogyny and so forth) and that should be thoroughly understood from the perspective that most modern civilized people are not living even remotely the same lives as people living in a feudal society in asia 2500 years ago. When you cannot account for this most basic and fundamental reality of human thought, it is much more revealing of your own issues and problems rather than these ancient teachings which were written down long before things like "democracy" was approaching the global normality, or even invented in the first place in such localities.

Yes the phenomenon of "noise" and "chatter" is in direct inverse proportion to consciously sensing the body in a complete way, and it can manifest in all kinds of things, both separately and simultaneously... such as internal dialogs and discursive thoughts, or restless muscles and other types of fidgeting. Its similar to the popular expression that "idle hands are the devil's plaything" in that it is a byproduct of a person's abdication of their responsibility for their internal energy being centered and directed holistically across the entire body in a complete sort of way. Taoists speak of "breathing from the heels". -

Most people imagine themselves as conscious. They are walking around in a hypnotic state, dreaming that they are actually awake... instead of realizing they live entirely within the confines of their own private delusions which are derived and based on all the other public delusions they have been surrounded with for their whole lives. Thats why everyone is able to imagine they are sharing some kind of basic consensus within that endless ocean of delusion, whether or not it is actually relevant at any given moment or not.

the threefold division occurs in a number of different realms and concepts which are related to triangulation for example, the structure of atoms is derived from their particular array of protons, neutrons, and electrons https://ggurdjieff.com/law-of-three/ -
