I think it depends on which definition of the Dantian that is being used. -

My aim was not to present methods to nurture these qualities. It was an attempt to bring attention to them and the essence of cultivation. I do not disagree that methods can help in the foundation stage. The general message of the post was that methods can only take us so far. If one were looking for a "how to get started" guide, then this post is probably not the right fit. Hence, let me clarify again. Methods will not necessarily create the essence, but the essence will eventually create the method. I might make post to share methods. However, I think that this is dangerous, because in many cases, the method presented can either truly help or great limit the practitioner. If I were to share my methods, they would need much time and effort to be reviewed. -

You have misunderstood. The "body and energy system" is constant. I did not imply that different systems should be mixed. All I said is that they are related. Learning from one system, Indian for example, and its fundamentals can bring greater understanding of the human system as a whole. Greater comprehension can then be utilized for training in another system. -

They work in tandem, mind, body, energy, spirit. One cannot stabilize at higher intensities without the other. A still mind is a great resource to have when working on the body, as one will make significantly more progress in comparison. If the method leads a person from stilling the mind, that means that either the cultivation method is flawed or the mind is not stable enough to handle the process. -

I would disagree with you on that Chakras have no relations to the dantian. Although they are terminology from different systems, they are two different ways of looking at the same internal system. For example, The manipakura when unlocked can draw in energy; it is also the energy center of the entire system. One of the dantian functions is to store and refine energies for the system as a gathering point. I agree that the LDT is not only formed from celibacy. From my personal experience, practicing celibacy provides the resources and opportunity for LDT development. For example, sexual energy is very potent, so one can refine this energy for the dantian, vitalize and increase the overall intensity of the system, discipline the mind and body, and push for new breakthroughs. -

I apologize if I was not clear in my post. Let me clarify a few things: 1. I offer no methods. I only seek to discuss the nature of things. 2. I do not suggest that these qualities are missing from within us. In fact, I stated that we simply need to come in touch with these qualities. In many cases of societies today, people have lost touch with the intricacies within. Hence, this post intended to bring attention to these particular qualities. 3. Non-doing. I am aware of the philosophy. Hence, I mentioned "Divine Intelligence" and "return to one's true nature." 4. One seeks by not seeking. I do not disagree with this. -

Friend, I do not disagree with refinement. However, I think that the process is reversed, refinement then "control." Without refining it, utilizing a "persona" will create much greater friction throughout one's daily life, hindering one from going through life vibrantly at full potential. -

There are numerous ways to do so. One can do so by simply sitting still. Everything will come along once one can be completely still. Answering your question by giving you any longer a response won't do you justice. In fact, I am afraid that my answer may limit your potential and perspective. While these desires and thoughts need to be managed, they must not be "controlled" but liberated. If one controls their thoughts, they will end up limiting their perspective to what is out there, with a limited perspective of what should or shouldn't be thoughts. We must go past desires and thoughts. Once we are past them, we will naturally be able to manage them. -

These qualities are already within everyone of us. We just need to find and nurture them. -
It depends on each person and his or her path.

Lairg is on the right track. The relationship with the cosmos is crucial for establishing the connection and aligning oneself. It is like the idea of golden egg or the hen; with the hen comes the golden eggs. Energy will come on its own. I do not mean to offend or criticize anyone, but please understand that 95% of our conversations are complete nonsense, with less than 5% of them containing the true essence of the Dao if we are lucky. We must not allow these distractions to blind us from walking our paths if we are truly committed to walking on the cultivation path.

What is a Belt channel?

Hello all! I am a newcomer to this site and a cultivator. I have known this site for a long time, but I decided to join to communicate the Dao, help others, and learn more.
-
Not publicly, as it will do more harm than good without proper guidance. And it is more of a process than a technique, because it is different for everyone. However, I am open to share details for specific questions here.
-
I think so? But I am not qualified to answer this question.
-
I can tell you more, except the more personal topics for now. For your third question, yes and no. Visualization is an excellent tool if it is only limited to the mind, but ineffective to anything beyond the mind. It allows you to create these wonderful scenarios, but does not offer anything useful in practice... unless you are able to connect your mind and spirit to the cosmos. It sounds a bit nonsensical at this point, but bear with me. Once you are able to access the cosmos through the established connection, you can intuitively direct energy into your vessel, like osmosis, if you can handle it. The hard part is all the work behind opening and establishing this connection.

I refined the LDT through intaking Qi from the cosmos and condensing it into an extremely dense core smaller than a grain of salt first. And then I worked my way upwards from there. Although I opened the dantian and started with yin/yang qi, it didn't make much progress. Progress started happening after I was able to draw Qi from the cosmos.
-
I am aware of Microcosmic orbit. This cycle will continue to happen for a long time. However, I would like to know the changes to the core once one condenses it further. If I missed something, I apologize if I am not understanding correctly.
-
Hi everyone! I would love to start a conversation to share our cultivation journeys, if you wish to. How are your cultivation paths so far? For me personally, I have refined a core at my LDT and working on developing it to the next level. My vital/physical functions have all seen many improvements, and I am able to produce heavy vibrations from my core.
-
Haha, it is nothing compared to the real masters out there. I think I have ways to go before making substantial changes to the core. I could be wrong, but based on my intuition and experiences, substantial changes happen when a sufficient amount of qi/energy is condensed. In other words, that is when "breakthroughs" happen. I should be close to improving another minor level but am far from a major level. The next minor level should have nearly double the intensity. However, I am not entirely sure what to expect at the next major level, which should take until the end of the year potentially or more. I would love to hear some insights from everyone. And how about you good sir. How are you doing?
