    Thanks for your answer and no problem for the delay, it’s already so kind of you to take time answering questions you probably a million times! To answer your questions: 1) Yes, they tend to come more like long waves with some stopping moments. I just stay a little bit worried by my legs because following advices already given by Pak Satrio, I tried to keep my feet in same position but I always end up loosing my stance a little bit... 2a/b) Calmer and lighter in a way As I keep getting better, I'll try to get back to a more complete practice in the next days and see where it goes! Thanks again for your answer and advices! Ps: When you speak about tip of thumbs in the navel while palms covering lower dan tien in MHP, you mean litteraly in the navel or rather in front of it?

    Hi everyone, Finally having enough energy to resume a standing practice after some time spend only on MHP (supine version) and I decided to practice same one but standing up and I find myself having a lot of spontaneous movement. But I was wondering how much movement is allowed? Should I keep hands where they are in mudra position or are arms allowed to move as well? Thanks for your insights and wishing everyone already a nice weekend!

    Hi everyone, Just a quick question regarding Monk Holding Pearl in a supine position. After some difficult months, I decided to resume my practice by using supine MHP but I find myself often falling asleep while doing it. So I was asking myself, is it OK that I fall asleep without doing 3 full breaths closing sequence? Thanks for your insights!
  5. Flowing zen, good for beginners?

    Followed 101 and 201 here. Not an expert by any means in Qigong (trying to find a way in all of this) but here are my impressions on those courses. On one side, I agree with what was said above: Anthony Korahais answers students questions quickly. He's committed, likeable,... On another, I was a little bit disturbed by other things: - While searching in past posts of Facebook group, I saw that he encouraged one of the student to mix his Qigong with Fragrant Qigong moves (one of the things to know with Fragrant Qigong is that you never mix it with something else, considering that style is proned to interfering with others) - In 201, he teaches also 12 treasures that he learned apparently with Master Bingkun Hu. I was quite surprised when I discovered a video of that master teaching it as well: Closing part (not listed as one of the treasures) became first one and put as opening exercise, a lot of others were completely different between the two of them, and as Sifu Korahais transformed closing part into opening exercise, he completely ignores last treasure teached by Master Hu ( Primordial Qigong). - For this part, it's just a feeling so take it with a grain of salt: While browsing groups' posts on FB, I tend to notice a tendency of people having little aches here and there or symptoms (insomnia, digestion,...) that were quickly and easily labelled as growing pains or cleansing. If it is true that qigong practice can cause this, it gave me the impression that some people were constantly or quite regularly under those states. - Korahais said also to practice while emotional not being a big deal, even good to calm things down... I'm again not an expert, but it seems to be the only time I saw someone saying that it was ok to do energetic work while being angry/sad/... Here are my impressions and I'll end it by saying that if you want to make yourself an idea of what he teaches, you can buy his book. It comes with a little course that presents core of his Qigong method (5-Phase routine), so you can try his style and see how you feel about it without paying too much in the beginning.

    Hi everybody, After some years practicing sivananda yoga on and off, I stumbled into qigong thanks to the book of Anthony Korahais. After a few research on my own, I decided to start seriously this new chapter with Sifu Dunn's Flying Phoenix Chi Kung. He told me that there's a thread in here where I can ask questions about my practice so why not enjoying it while reading about others experiences and picking brains from time to time? In the meantime, all the best to everyone!

    Hi everyone! Soon, I'll start practicing Flying Phoenix Chi Kung (just waiting for DVDs to arrive) and Sifu Dunn was kind enough to point that thread if I have some questions regarding practice! Thanks Sifu! Beside being excited to begin this journey, I already have a little question: As explained on my presentation post, I started venturing into qigong world with Anthony Korahais' book. Looks like what he teaches comes from Shaolin Cosmos Chi Kung of a certain Wong Kiew Kit (I saw that one of his book is on the recommended reading list on Sifu Dunn's website). Would it be better to stop practicing that first style to completely focus on Flying Phoenix Chi Kung? And do I need to wait some days without any practice before starting FPCK?
