  1. What you claim to have used is not the philosophers stone. It is the science behind the metaphor of the philosophers stone. The philosophers stone is in plain sight most of the time, and many people examine it with some result, but do not revere it, because they did not quest for it. There is a difference between students of Wisdom and Philosophy and actual Adepts. A true Champion/Knight/Adept would never diminish the victory of acquiring the stone.
  2. Art is dead.

I just realized that the more one loves God and Life, the more trials they will face.
  3. Art is dead.

It was indeed a moment of pessimism. I'm well aware that in our Age, all things are accessible in all forms, and that there are a variety of choices available. Still, we seem to be at the mercy of striving for the ideal of Beauty, and execute or ignore that which fails it, and I blame this on the liberation of Lust, which finds us glorifying the body and senses. This, in combination with an ideal of perfect Law, leaves us intolerant of Man's obvious shortcomings of education, wealth and intelligence.
  4. You say you've had the philosophers stone? I'd love to hear what it is, and how you came to possessing it.
  5. I wasn't thinking of immortality of the body, but of this life, this mind, this knowledge, this experience. I believe in souls as a genesis of consciousness, and I wonder if we grow into them, and at what age they appear in the mind. I'm certain that we are imbued with souls, as per my experience, but I wonder how this person I am today will survive after death.
  6. The only reason is personal experience, or faith in the Mystics. Certainly, in early life, when one is forced to conform to a restrictive tradition, one often rebels and declares "I'm going to live by my rules!" For they would rather experience their own Heaven than to work for someone else's. As I have traveled Astrally, and witnessed much, I have too, done much, my own way, and I can say that in the end, it is nearly the same.
  7. I now believe that all valid forms of Spirituality and Religion and Philosophy are meant to illustrate Man of "the life" or, what is to be encountered in living. I believe that these mythologies carry over from Age to Age, and illustrate the Wisdom of that Era, and to learn them we acclimate to the Law of that Age. In pursuing these traditions, one is able to comprehend Order, and be Lawful. When one accomplishes this, they are able to reach the "promised land" I.e. Zion, Heaven, Nirvana, Elysian Fields, etc.
  8. In my journey of reflection, I find what sticks most in my memory are my Sins, or the Sins others have committed to me. Good times and bad are distant; moments of suffering and happiness are just temporary shadows, what remains is when I broke different types of law. And so, I must conclude that the life of Man, as organized by the Creators, is to be lawful and righteous.
  9. If there is an afterlife, then we would have to be connected somehow to it already, for otherwise, we are merely trapped in our bodies experiencing life individually, and not in some way (other than inhabiting shared space), collectively. If the afterlife is in us individually, then we would probably lose it should we be burned to ash and not buried. If we are connected somehow on some field of energy, then we could inhabit a shared soul network, which is perhaps something like a dream state. The only thing to consider there is: how much control of the dream state do we have, and are these states desirable? Certainly we would want a good Heaven to experience eternally? Is it based on our current state of thoughts and deeds? How would we then reincarnate? Do we somehow enter a body of a living person and enter their sperm or egg and get born again? If this is how it happens, then why aren't I aware of my past life? And if I am not aware, does it even matter if it's true? The only way to ensure control over one's knowledge and self is to be practiced at knowledge of self and life, and not be at the mercy of uncertainty and desires, and in this situation, one could then defend the arts of knowledge and knowing-commanding ones will to do. In this case, obtaining the philosophers stone, confessing sin and making atonement, and fixing one's karma would be a highly recommended path.
  10. I was told a story of surviving being stranded in a winter storm, and it caused me to reflect on how Man has survived the tests of Nature to become what we have become. It's so amazing to me, and I hope that there is an afterlife for us, and that part of that experience is to hear the full story of Man.
