Is there a "safe" way to contact spirit of recently departed
tianzhang replied to dontknwmucboutanythng's topic in Esoteric and Occult Discussion
I come from one of the invaded countries, and currently live in the Western Countries. Western Influence is in fact expanding well at least in Asia Japan, Korean, and in Southeast Asia Vietnam is heavily adapting Western culture. If the West did fall, I don't think Asia is any better off. -

I expect good stuff to happen to me, or at the very least not repeatedly having problems doing things in life. It seems like the more good I do, it's not that I don't receive anything it's that I will ACTIVELY suffer. -

I remember one of the great crimes that will get you damned to Avici hell is destroying the statue of a Buddha ... but alot of Western countries did the exact same thing during their invasion, there doesn't seem to be any repercussion for them at all and in the Sutras it was deemed IMMEDIATE. I've also not really seen any good fruits from the good deeds I did as a Buddhist including the ones that were supposed to create innumerable merits. -

I wonder if karma even exists at all, perhaps it's not and it's some sort of soul-based ponzi scheme to get people to believe. -

So how accurate is the Buddhist Karma system, and all the Hell, punishments, etc described? I've been told all my life this stuff is true, but I can't really see it. I've seen people do things that in the Sutras definitely would land someone in Hell immediately and they go on to live good lives. I've seen people do good things that are supposed to create good karma not only for them but their children, the father would end up dying poor, and the children end up suffering the same fate. In my own personal life, I've never really received rewards for goodness it's always been force that seemed to work for people. Either the sutras/suttas greatly exaggerate or there;s some obscured here. If there is an afterlife does it have an actual law system that denotes merit or demerit based on our actions or is it really just a free for all where you do whatever you want? Or is there a more insidious soul engine going on? -
Hi I wanted to follow up, I went to a Chinese Medical Doctor who's also a martial artist with a good pedigree. He basically gave the same diagnosis you did, he said that my kidney is a bit clogged up and has some issue moving qi through. I wanted to thank you for taking time to respond, and wanted to ask you about the 'taking the time off' part. How long do you recommend? The Doctor said I am suitable to train but to avoid static postures and to do moving postures instead. Thank you.

Hi so for a quick background on myself, I came from a really abusive household they were also Religious and used it to control the children alot. Unfortunately I fell victim to it and joined the Religion for several years, I was told I was a bad person in my past life, needed to be punished, etc. I started hearing voices in my head ( not actual voices just intrusive thoughts) that told me I needed to fail and suffer in life, my life generally has been unfortunate up until this point. Now with Neigong and martial arts my mind got more clear and I've decided to leave, but the strange part is that I still get fear and panic which seems to cause blockages in my body. Anyone have experience with this?

Leaving a Religion disrupts Qi?

I tried this but there seems to be some really strong thoughts that physically impact my body and confuses it, really bad thoughts that try to mislead me in life. -
Leaving a Religion disrupts Qi?
tianzhang replied to tianzhang's topic in Esoteric and Occult Discussion
No, I'm agnostic. The closest thing I suppose is power, power governs the Universe from my perspective. Morality, philosophy, etc nothing matters without the power to move the forces of the world. Simply put it. -

Sweet I just hope nothing disrupts it, I'm okay with it taking a decent amount of time but seems like obstacles keep popping up in my way especially from my past.

Hi everyone, first off I wanted to thank everyone for your help! Secondly, I think I understand a bit more of what the issue is upon contemplation and training. I think there is certain part of my nerves where the QI cannot seem to pass, so circle walking seems to send it back up, and so does Zhan zhuang where I get this spontaneous movements. Do you think training martial arts can worsen this blockage or I am good to train just need to let the spontaneous movements clear through? Thank you!

Hmmh, thanks! Do you practice from He Jing Han's line of Baguaquan?

Hmmh? It didn't, it's still an on-going process. If you're asking how I stop the movements then I have to just shake it off and stop, it also seems to now start outside of qigong if I breath through my nostrils the breath physically travel from my nose and wave down my spine causing it to wave then to the bottom of my feet.

I want to clarify I tried stopping it, but I cannot stop it at all. It kept going by its own will.

Yes, I stood in a static posture without attempting to move or do any visualization. I did this first for 1 hour and then to two hours and then my body started to move by itself without me attempting to stop it. What I will note is that it didn't seem to make me tired and actually improved my kung fu and fajing skill in alot of ways.

Ohhh okay, yes I apologize then. What I suffer from is spontaneous movements during zhan zhuang not a specific set of qigong. If that helps gives you any further insight, then I'd love to hear them either way thank you for your time.

I thought Zi Fa Gong was spontaneous qigong a process that can be willfully triggered or triggered through other practices right , like standing?

I apologize perhaps I worded it incorrectly, I am still confused on the whole thing. I am wondering if my Zi Fa Gong is an indicator of a deeper set of problems, that's what I needed help with. Because while it seems to help me improve my health and kung fu skills, it's also seemingly increasing my body's susceptibility to blockages.

Actually I am doing a Yin Style Baguazhang that doesn't include the eight mother palms and only involves a forward piercing palm along the line of the circle ( so not much twisting) The Zi Fa Gong came by itself when I reached two hours of zhan zhuang, I did not do any special practices to trigger it if that's what you're asking. It seems to calm down if I let my breath roll down through my spine into my feet, but if my breath is off or I tense up then I start to bounce off. I also notice if I focus on the dantian then pressure would build up ( bad pressure from my POV) and I would jump back and fall over usually with some form of screaming to relieve the pressure.

Do you have any idea, what the issue is? Is it QI getting stuck in one place? Everything is find with zhan zhuang and zi fa gong but not Circle walking?
