  1. Fish eggs, sashimi (raw fish), organ meats like liver, kidneys, adrenals, and generally eating most or all of your food raw are really useful for building energy and jing. I can get by on 4 hours sleep nightly for weeks on end, ejaculate 1-3 times a day, and still have energy to exercise and function. Most of that is due to my diet.

    I don't recommend placing trust in any one food or supplement to protect your health. I certainly don't place my faith in any one food or supplement. I think you would be better off just eating fresh greens like spinach, kale,etc., whether store-bought, from the farmer's market, or home-grown. It's not that much harder to buy fresh greens and store them in the refrigerator. You're going to have a hard time convincing me that green powders are better than fresh greens. Also, the overall quality of the plant is very important. You can't check the Brix of a green powder. I suppose you could send it off to a food lab to have it analyzed, but it's still easier to buy or grow fresh greens.

    Ormus holds and transmits the energy that is around it. It holds intention and transmits it. The method of creation, the astrological alignment at the moment of creation, and the maker's intention all have extremely powerful influences on the health benefits and psychic benefits. It can transmit yin, yang, or any mix. The only Ormus-making methods for the newbie home Ormus maker that are more or less safe are the wet method that creates seawater precipitate and, of course, water traps. I personally have used Don Nance's stuff from Ocean Alchemy and found it to be good. I recommend his C-11 Manna (which is just seawater precipitate) and the White Dove. I have also used Joe Lello's products several times, and like them very much, at Atlantis Alchemy. I recommend his Sea Eleven, Golden Dew, Elixir M-3, and Elixir M-1. There are other producers of Ormus that are skilled, but I know and trust these guys and have used their stuff for years. If you have questions, these guys are more than happy to answer them via phone or email.

    I think that Taoism presupposes 2 things about politics 1. Flexibility in finding solutions is helpful (or, "The Tao is utterly open") 2. Extremist ideologies are unhelpful but I haven't totally thought it through.

    I have an Ormus project that I've been working on for a while. Here are a couple of links. Ormus interview/article same idea, more details I am planning on doing this with seawater, either next to the ocean, or on a boat. I have a professor at a local university who can get me the correct magnet. I may need a little investment money up front to get the magnet, and/or to rent a boat or a beach house. Once I get some experimental results, I'll figure out what to do from there. Either make it 1. a commercial thing, 2. post it on Youtube (and change the world), or 3. just let it spread via grassroots method to friends and family without any money-making intent.

    All I'm saying is, apply moderation and common sense. Test anything you eat/do/ingest/etc. No supplement or food is worth your health. In a general sense, I would 1. Test different green powders 2. Don't use green powders that have fruit/carbs in them. Dried fruit is really awful for you, in a general sense. I still think you'd be better off gathering/growing your own greens and eating/juicing them. If you don't have time, get someone else to do it for you. But hey, test, test, test. Whatever works. Seriously, if several of you can agree on a green powder that really works well for you, I'd at least try taking it.

How many high-level martial arts masters (of the evil kind) is he going to have to fight to the death, on a daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, etc. basis? It's just overkill. You don't need a Lamborghini to go get groceries at the local supermarket. A Ford Taurus (or even a bicycle, in good weather) will also do the job. But whatever. I just don't see the point in developing that high level of skill, if you will never encounter the kinds of people you would have to use it on. Besides which, I'm really good at talking my way out of dangerous situations. I am a charmer, so they tell me. LOL Why whip ass, when I can charm it? LOL
  11. To all the chi nay-sayers: I studied a very serious system of closed-door martial arts for several years. I had a black belt in Okinawan karate before I started, and trust me when I say that, if my karate black belt was a kindergarten graduation diploma, then the closed-door system was like studying for a doctorate. It is serious, serious, serious business. One day, my teacher decided to play with my mind and/or teach me a lesson. He did a quick little qigong exercise, then he pulled up his sleeve and said "grab my arm". I tried to grab his arm. Well, THAT didn't work. My hands got about 8 inches away from his forearm, and then suddenly, without warning, I was flying across the room. I landed about 6-8 feet away, screaming and holding my stomach. He never moved the whole time. I had no idea that was even POSSIBLE, let alone that he himself was able to do such a thing. What threw me across the room? The power of suggestion? No. He didn't tell me what would happen. I had never heard from him or any of the other students about such a thing. He also told me about an incident where a highly-skilled, 10 year+ student of his attacked him too fast. He couldn't get out of the way in time, so he used a similar non-physical technique/method. He said the student's forearm suddenly starting spouting blood from dozens of tiny holes, without any physical contact. They had to clean the carpet afterward, the blood went everywhere. Again, I ask you, what put those holes in that student's arm? The power of suggestion? Doubtful. I'm not saying anything about what chi actually is or isn't, because I don't know. For dang sure, though, people who think all these special powers are not real (at least in some cases) are deluded. Highly deluded.

    They're not as bad as dried fruit...but you're much better off eating fresh greens. Try it both ways, and see what it does to your health. Humans aren't really leaf-eaters anyway. We are designed mainly for fruit and meat. Some people do well on fish and shellfish, as well. We're not designed to get most of our nutrition from greens. Give some of the green powders a try, though, if you want. Test their effects on you carefully, make sure you check to see what they do to your aerobic stamina. I don't recommend them. Slow juiced definitely keeps better, from what I hear. I really think you'd be better off eating some spinach or kale or leaf lettuce than eating a green powder, but, like I said above, test it all out. Get back to us with your results. I'm curious. Brix meters are very cheap, I have bought 2 on ebay for about $30-$40 each. There are two different Yahoo Brix groups, just do a search for "Brix" in the yahoo groups search. The refractometer actually measures the bending of the light going through the juice. The more minerals/sugars/etc. that are dissolved in the juice, the more the light bends. Sugar water can Brix as high as 32, but the measure line is razor-sharp. When calcium, magnesium, etc. are present in the juice, the measure line will be much fuzzier. Sometimes I'll get a piece of fruit that brixes high, but has a sharp line. That means it doesn't have much mineral content. Some fruits always have more minerals than others. Mangoes are usually low in minerals, while cherimoyas are much higher. You can see that by the fuzziness of the measure line. I'm not too familiar with biophotons. Tell me more, if you like. The healthiest, highest Brix plants are ones that 1. Have a lot of minerals available to them during growing 2. Can uptake and use those minerals You are right that inbreeding is dangerous to plants, but it's mainly because they are much more vulnerable to infectious diseases when inbred. You can have an EXTREMELY healthy inbred plant, but it is probably more vulnerable to infectious disease, if you are using the same variety as thousands of other growers. If you inbreed your own plants, starting with a wild variety, there is less chance of a problem. It's actually not that hard to grow your own wheatgrass in cold weather, you can grow it in your house next to a window. I can tell you how to make it extra healthy, that's a whole other topic. It totally depends on the quality of the grass itself. That's true with any plant.

    What about the concept of conditions getting much worse and harder (and more expensive) to treat because people wait to go to the doctor, because they don't have the money? What do you do when they are having heart attacks, strokes, etc.? Just leave them in the gutter to die? The medical profession does have ethics. Darn those ethics. Darn them!! They are the cause of all bad things!! Why are you such an extremist?

    I've been experimenting with and taking Ormus for about 5 years. It's kind of a big topic for 1 thread. Suffice to say that yes, there is a lot of BS surrounding Ormus. Also, yes, it can be very powerful and useful stuff, if made correctly.

    Stay away from those green powders that you can buy, where they juice a bunch of greens and they dry the juice and sell it. Those are no good. I would never advise you to stay away from fresh, raw (or very lightly steamed) greens. I love to eat raw spinach from time to time, as well as dark green leaf lettuce, and even a little raw kale every once in a while. It's important, though, that your plant foods have high nutrition content. You can check that with a Brix meter (refractometer). Take a look at www.crossroads.ws for more information on Brix. I always Brix my fruit. I don't eat low Brix fruit anymore. I definitely notice a difference in my health from that alone.

    I have been taking vitamin D softgels for about 9 months now, about 1000-2000 IU daily. I sleep better, don't grind my teeth at night, am calmer, and have less problems with tooth sensitivity. Having said that, it's definitely possible to overdo supplements, particularly the fat-soluble vitamins. Quick rules of thumb-- 1. don't supplement vitamin E. Have some unrefined palm oil or an avocado. 2. make sure your supplements work. Try different brands and types, and experiment. 3. If you're taking fat-soluble vitamins then get tested. I was taking up to 10,000 IU daily of vitamin D, and my blood levels almost exceeded the safe range. This is true for both vitamins A & D. 4. Stay away from goji, acai, green superfoods, etc. Those are gimmicks. There are a few supplements out there (besides the basic vitamins and minerals) that seem to be pretty good. like blue-green algae, but, in general, be cautious with the new/weird/exotic stuff. This goes double for Chinese and Hindu herbs. 5. Fresh/natural/unprocessed is generally better. I take Pascalite instead of a magnesium or trace mineral supplement. I also take bone meal instead of a calcium supplement, and they work better and are more absorbable than chemically-processed versions, particularly the bone meal. 6. If you're taking one particular vitamin/mineral, please be aware of what counters what. Calcium blocks/opposes/balances magnesium and sodium, and vice versa. Potassium and sodium block each other. Vitamins A and D balance each other. Etc. Know which foods contain which vitamins and minerals, and how much. Also, know which ones are actually absorbable. Beans/legumes have all kinds of mineral content, but they are not to any degree in an absorbable form. Many plant foods have vitamin A, but it's not necessarily absorbable. Some is, though, particularly in unrefined palm oil. 7. Educate yourself thoroughly on the subject. www.westonaprice.org is probably the best resource out there. It's not the only one, but it's very good. 8. Moderation. Seriously. 9. Seriously, moderation. 10. Common sense. 11. Moderation. I'm not joking. 12. Ask me. I'm a regular font of dietary knowledge, and I am always willing to point you to a better expert if I don't know the answer to your question.

I've wondered a few times if maybe quantum theory and relativity are both correct, if it's really just a matter of scale and perspective. Of course, I don't know my relativity and quantum mechanics well enough to say, and I am probably wrong. LOL

    The best liver I have eaten was from Northstar Bison. You can Google them. They will ship it to you unfrozen/fresh if you request it. I feel like liver should never be frozen, I think it degrades the quality of it. If you like chicken livers it's often fairly easy to get those from healthy pasture-raised chickens. The best place to find this sort of thing is locally. You can reach out to your local Weston Price chapter leader, or go on eatwild.com. Of course you can raise your own, but that takes time and enough land. It's pretty important that organ meats come from healthy animals, liver especially. Livers filter and hold toxins.
  19. Being spiritual has nothing to do with meat or not-meat. Plenty of traditional cultures like the Masai, Inuit, !Kung, etc. eat/ate meat. They have rich spiritual traditions. That's a no-brainer, if you've actually done both the research and the thinking. I get the feeling, though, that your research is lacking. Oh, by the way, flaming me or criticizing me won't get your research done, on diet or any other issue. You might can get me to point you to some good resources, but I cannot do the reading for you. I would suggest Weston Price's "Nutrition and physical degeneration". The most important part is chapters 15-20, you can find that at journeytoforever.org/farm_library/price/pricetoc.html. The last few chapters are missing, but chapters 15-20 will get you the main idea. Vilhjalmur Stefansson's work confirms Dr. Price's findings, check out the wiki on Stefansson en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vilhjalmur_Stefansson. Scroll to the bottom of that wiki. I'm not saying that fasting or short raw-fruit diets don't have their place, but I know plenty of people, myself included, who have really been harmed, physically and mentally, by overdoing that sort of thing. I also know plenty of almost-vegans who don't even realize how messed-up their own brain chemistry has become through under-eating good fats. They think they know where the line is, but the problem is that the brain problems can cause you to be unable to see that you have progressive brain problems. It's a vicious cycle. I can point you to people I know, right now, who are in this cycle.
  20. Raw meat

    I like fermented meats. Sometimes what I eat should almost be called "rotten meat". My favorite would be fermented liver. The liver blood ferments to a mild alcoholic beverage in the refrigerator after a week or so. It's great. I believe that fermented meat is more digestible than fresh meat, and that eating it increases your ability to digest meat by replenishing the specific gut bacteria that help you digest meat. Sally Fallon is too pro-cooked, too pro-grain, and too pro-dairy. She talks about Dr. Price, though, and his work is absolutely fundamental. Weston Price--now there's someone I'm proud to call a fellow human. He also was too pro-cooked, too pro-grain, and too pro-dairy. However, without him, we don't even HAVE conclusive proof that crooked teeth are a result of dietary deficiency, nor do we have proof that high-quality animal products are very much a part of a healthy human diet. Weston Price, I salute you. I'm not just talking to you, 11:33. If you want really nuanced responses, (instead of me using your posts as a way to preach to the larger audience), PM me. LOL
  21. Veganism works great...for a while. Then your brain slowly deteriorates. Humans are not natural vegans, any more than dogs or baboons. Quit the vegan preaching. There is no scientific or common sense basis for long-term veganism. Kill your own health if you want, but please don't preach that stuff. Check out rawpaleoforum.com and rawpaleodiet.com. Spend at least a couple of months reading those sites, and realize that you are as likely to convert me or Pietro to veganism as you are to convert a great tai chi master to Western-style boxing.

    In France and in many other places in the world, raw meat and raw organ meats like liver, etc. are often eaten both in restaurants and at home. Those of use who have done enough world travelling can definitely confirm this. The eating of raw meat and raw organ meats goes back thousands of years in dozens of cultures, including both very traditional, isolated cultures (like Native Americans/Inuit/Masai) and more modernized cultures (like French and Eastern Europeans). There are quite a few Europeans here like Pietro and Smile (who was born and raised in Europe) who can attest to all of this. Most foods that have to be cooked to be digestible are not that healthy. Humans have always been meat eaters, and even today millions eat raw meat and fish everyday, including me. My coworkers think I am strange. I have better health than I did 10 years ago, though. If they keep eating the normal American diet, they will not. Take a look at rawpaleodiet.com and rawpaleoforum.com. If you want to learn about diet (instead of parroting some stuff that you haven't fully researched), those are good places to start. I am also a good place. This forum should be a place to talk about what actually works for health. Those of you who got all your dietary knowledge from a few books need to keep researching. In 10 more years of serious heavy research you might be where I am now. Raw foods are not somehow automatically bad for digestion. My coworkers stink up the bathroom a lot more than I do. LOL I won't entertain vegetarian or pro-cooking propaganda. I simply will leave this thread. If you want to learn about diet I can teach. Guaranteed. Preaching vegetarianism or cooking to me will get me to leave the thread. Guaranteed.

  24. Chinese food theory is too pro-rice, pro-grain, pro-carb, pro-cooking, and, in some cases, too pro-vegetarian. There are some good ideas, though. A lot of the fads (like wolfberries) are nonsense.
