I've been reading this the last couple of days and it's pretty good(especially being free). I haven't gotten through the whole thing yet but so far so good. The book seems to be a lot of practices from the Healing tao system but in his(James MacRitchie) own experience and style from teaching/practicing over the years. Enjoy http://globalqiproject.com/ Jesse

Hey FD you might want to email the author i think he would answer your questions. i heard a podcast from him the other week and he said something to the effect of that he wrote this book for all the people that couldn't ever get to a teacher. Jesse

I used it for allergies, stress, lower back pain, headache and shoulder pain, your run of the mill things nothing like cancer or any other degenerative diseases i could feel the energy, not at first but after it opened up channels i could feel the energy i vividly remember feeling my left hip and kwa area opening up it was quite pleasant. It also really elevated my mood, you could set it for a 24 minute cycle(do do during qigong/working out or during meditation) or you could set it on continuous cycle and use it during sleep(which is what i mostly did). I love the little thing it is pricey though, i bought mine maybe 5 to 7 years ago and i paid $1500.00 but it is worth every penny. I bought mine straight from the company they don't have a online store so i just did the order through email. company website http://www.eprttechnologies.com/ Jesse

Cat if your interested in electro therapy you might want to check out the Jai energy enhancer by EPRT technologies unlike a zapper (which i agree with smile) you can use it for general wellbeing. I first heard about about it through Danial Reid's book Tao of detox and an article he wrote on his website. It is the single best tool for healing i have ever bought( and i have wasted my money on a lot of junk). Just wanted to give you a heads up, i think it's a wonderful device. Jesse

You might want to check out his podcast. He has one called backward flowing method. I listened to it last night on my drive home and i think he described it in a 3 step process ( i can't remember exactly) that sounded a little different then what you are describing. Jesse

You might want to look into the book Qigong for total wellness by Dr. Baolin Wu. He describes a system that he learned at White Cloud Monastery called 9 palaces solar qigong that uses the sun for physical, mental, spiritual growth. I'm half way through the book and i am pleasantly surprised by how good it is. Jesse

Yeah kunlun is really making me move. I would love a seminar here in the midwest.but i'm willing to travel also for a more hands on experience. My girl and i just bought a house a little north of Milwuakee, I used to go to a skateboard park up in Appleton, it was good times and snowboard up in the UP area also. -Jesse

Hey Scotty I can just imagine(or maybe i can't) what Kunlun would be like after a seminar. Hunyuan is a set of twelve movements that are done standing. I like it because it seems to increase my joint mobility and gets my blood flowing a little more. The hunyuan neigong also includes standing meditation and emptiness seated meditation and hunyuan tai chi that is taught by Grandmaster Feng Zhiqiang. It's fun, seems to work well which is always a plus. Where in wisconsin are you located? -Jesse p.s. Thanks for the welcome yoda

Global climate change? For qigong i practice standing meditation and Hunyuan neigung and for meditation i enjoy kunlun(from book, haven't made it to a workshop yet) and embryonic respiration/cultivationg stillness. -Jesse
