I've visited many past lives and can call up the memories and, more importantly, the emotions when I wish. Thing is, I no longer view them as 'past lives' but rather memories embedded in the complex coding if my DNA. That actually makes the experiences even more personal, iintimate, closer to home.

What would you ask a master?
soaring crane replied to Charles Crawford III's topic in General Discussion
As TM said, I'd ask him why he needs to conceal his hand under the brush. No, I don't believe it.- 154 replies

Breathe in. Breathe out. But, always, breathe in.

Hi, I've been poking around online looking for interesting books and came across this author. I assume he's known to many Bums, and was wondering what you all might think of his work. I clicked through the previews of his Bagua book at Amazon and thought it looked quite good!

UK reveals footage of 'top secret' drone
soaring crane replied to Nungali's topic in The Rabbit Hole
Drones must be some sort of harbinger. They really worry me. -
Semantic errors notwithstanding, I'm really quite impressed with Decoding the Dao. It's a very good book. And the footnotes/bibliography are top notch. I like the guy :-)

yes. I've learned enough about Taoist cosmology/astrology to know that I don't really have a chance to understand the MCO the way it's meant to be understood. I'm too stupid and impatient. And busy. Most of us are. But I did learn that, like the cosmos, the MCO exists with or without my influence and the best thing to do is to simply observe it and let it take its own course. The error I made for many years was in thinking that I can move stars and planets. I've stopped striving and can now feel the power welling up inside of me.

First, do nothing. Took me a long time to incorporate that idea.

Poll: Why do you keep visiting the Taobums website ?
soaring crane replied to chegg's topic in General Discussion
TBB is like the last man standing in the taoism discussion boards arena. All the other decent ones of yore have either disappeared completely or they're visited by the same 4 or 5 pepple who have been there since the previous century... -
but you call it a gland, which is meat. You should have mentioned the uncomfortable sensations previously. My next suggestion - stop focusing on the head altogether. How're your feet these days?

Water Method of Taoist Meditation - Questions

Mr F is a real character, isn't he? -
well, basically, the center of your brain. But don't look for meat, look for energy. Just relax and enter gently into the middle of your brain. Basically the same thing you're doing (focusing on the pineal gland), maybe a little lower down and without the physical aspect. Same place, but more cosmos and less body. I didn't really want to write too much, because it's better for you to experience things your way. But getting away from the western habit of narrowing everything down to some piece of meat that happens to be in the same place as an energy center actually limits the levels you can achieve with your practice. BUT - your experience as described sounds beautiful, and it might be better not to change anything at all. So, like I said, just a suggestion, something to consider and discard if it doesn't sound right to you.

If I can make a suggestion, just a suggestion: instead of focusing on a gland, focus on the intersection point of the Baihui (true crown point) and Yintang/Tianmu (third eye/root of nose).

I haven't seen the other one.

this is, regrettably, where my thoughts were leading.

For stomach/digestive issues, this stuff is very popular here in Germany: Iberogast That's a link to Amazon.com in the USA. It's all natural and the go-to prescription from doctors here. Works most of the time. Can't hurt anyway. It may look expensive at first but a 100ml bottle lasts quite a while.

good video here and another one here I have them both and feel they're a good start for someone in your position given your finances and all that.

Ok, I want to narrow down my inquiry - was the Ki man serious? Did he really believe he could be the JJ guy, and then got slapped like a little school girl, or was he faking it? The demo in the beginning is just comical!

I did a solid 30 minutes of cloud hand waving in horse stance out on the fields on Saturday. I don't ordinarily do that kind of thing but I loved it!

wha ... ? Can someone explain this to me in simple terms? Was it a setup for the ca$$ or did that 'master' actually get his nose broken? Or what? I don't know how to read this one at all.

Of course, of course
