yes, for sure. There were also good people in Germany, fighting the ruling party in the 1930s and 40s. But it was the system I was ranting about. haha, you just don't get it, do you? ok, try this one: That album is incredible (It's called Banned in DC because that's exactly what happened to them). And by the time that song comes up, you really, really need the lovely interlude. But then the frenetic pace kicks in again right away .... woo hoo!
  4. Hey honey, lets print a new house....

oh now that is cool. Just looked into it, dentists are doing it here, too. They also use lasers instead of drills, so no more trauma for the kiddies, whew! We get prototypes from suppliers made with 3D printers all the time. Still much too expensive and slow for serial parts, though. But they day is coming, we all know it. The 3D printing industry is going to be a very major player in all our futures. They've now printed a fully-functioning ear, made with cells (see link I posted above). And if and when they start doing it with Graphene, holy cow, the possibilities are HUGE, mind-boggling, really.

  6. Do you mean to effect different results depending on the situation? I generally think about Qi flow through the wuxing organs - liver up, spleen down etc
  7. I can rotate my abdomen it all directions, up, down, sideways, clockwise, counter-clockwise and all directions in between. I think everyone can. Clockwise rotation disperses and distributes; counter-clockwise collects and compresses. Massaging with the hands intensifies the action and allows you to really greet the individual organs. Even numbers (including 36) contain a yin element; odd numbers (27 for example) are yang. So it makes most sense to rotate an odd/yang number at the yin regions of the body, to combine yin with yang; and a yin, even, number of rotations in yang regions, for the same reason. But that's just my opinion, of course, so it isn't actually relevant to the discussion.

absolutely, MB. It is a huge injustice that has never been righted. There are just countless examples of the white music industry outright stealing material from the original artists and never giving proper credit or making payments, and never to this day making restitutions for the crimes. here's another wonderful blueser whose art appears anonymously to this day in crappy white pop music:
  9. What made YOU laugh today/tonight ?

haha, yes, it was made in Finland. He'd just got confused with the question words.
  10. Punk's not dead

white assholes like Pat Boone worked hard to stop them coon boys from getting any kind of recognition for their efforts. If their whitebread audience ever found out where they'd stolen their musical ideas from, there would have been a backlash.

  12. What made YOU laugh today/tonight ?

I was helping two co-workers from quality-control with their English today (it's my job, more or less). One is German and the other is Russian, but living here in Germany and now trying hard to learn some English because he has to deal with international suppliers. We were in a conference room with a bunch of display parts (heat pump industry) and I had the Russian guy bring over parts and ask the German guy, 'What is this called in English?'. Then the German guy would take a guess at the name, and we would discuss the part... Really just a very relaxed atmosphere, we were having fun, and they're both good friends. At one point, the Russian guy was holding a stainless steel 'flow through heating element' and I asked him, 'What is it made of?' He looked at me and asked, 'What ... ?' I said, 'Yes, Victor, what is it made of?' He thought about it for quite a while, looked the part over very carefully and then said, very seriously and confidently, 'Ah, ok, I understand... Finland' We just cracked up laughing It's really good natured fun, no teasing (Victor learning English in Germany is the equivalent of me learning Russian in Spain or thereabouts), but his answer was just so funny, so serious yet so cliché wrong, like something out of a movie. "No, Victor, not 'where' ... 'what' ... ok, let's go over the question words again .... for the 5,000th time ... "
  13. Hey honey, lets print a new house....

sheeeet, they're printing organs now. If you needed a liver, would you choose it or the house http://www.nationaljournal.com/innovation-works/the-next-frontier-for-3-d-printing-human-organs-20131227

  17. Punk's not dead

haha, speaking of Grandmothers, I saw these Grandmothers at a small, intimate venue in Nürnberg this past summer. It was beyond amazing. It was an extended orgasm and rainbow body and magic peach all scrunched up into one evening of love: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rFhHTb4MN8k

how did I miss this thread? Bad Brains, baby! I love I Jah and a whole BB concert:
  22. yeah, I like that image, it resonates with me, too
  23. Did this occur to you during meditation? Black holes don't circulate anything, though, do they? They're yin without the spark of yang. When I project the image of a black hole into my belly, it collapses, gets quite intense (doing it now), and it doesn't seem like it'll release anything on its own.
  24. yeah, that wasn't difficult ... but it seems like a pretty wobbly theory http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_hole
