soaring crane replied to Gigi's topic in General Discussion
This character is always a nice intermezzo from the usual seriousness around here -
Regarding the intellectual rights issue, as I understand it, you do own the rights to anything you write here, but administrators/owners have the right to remove from their website or lock it or whatever they please. So, if you really want to keep your creative output, best copy it to a text file.

Hello island_monkey, and welcome to the forums! Glad you came out of the shadows :-) Please take the time to read the two posts pinned at the top of this Welcome page and take a look at the forum terms and rules. This covers all you need to know when getting started. For the first week you will be restricted to ten posts per day but after that you can post as much as you like. Also, until youâve posted fifteen times in the forums, youâll be a âJunior Bumâ with somewhat restricted access and will be allowed only two private messages per day. Good luck in your pursuits and best wishes to you, SC and the TDB team

Deciding on the best forum for a query is wholly up to you. But I'd suggest General Discussion as most suitable to your needs at the moment. That's where I'd put it, anyway :-)

Here's a link to the same story in English: http://www.dailydot.com/politics/chinese-censors-pollution-documentary/ Seemed profoundly ironic to come across this right after seeing the video posted here. -

I have a dumb question. What exactly do you mean when you write "hangover"? Are you sure that's the word you're looking for? -

I'm pretty sure I fall into the latter category. Has nothing to do with tradition on my part, though.

THE COMPLETE SYSTEM OF SELF-HEALING: INTERNAL EXERCISES By Stephen Chang; Questions On Practice
soaring crane replied to the1gza's topic in Systems and Teachers of
Hey you spent a lot of time writing that, I hope you find your answers. To your first question, I don't have experience with this system but it seems a pretty general guideline. The exercises are opening passageways and disolving blockages (mental, physical, emotional) and that takes about three months. Once that's achieved, the "effect" doesn't need to be constantly strived for, and further concentrated work in that direction could potentially "tip the scales" in the other direction i.e. start bringing up less fortuitous effects. Then you should do less of those exercises, and more general health work. It's a common approach to many systems. I suggest sticking to it. The question od why L/LI are at their peak when we're asleep is simple: We're supposed to be awake then, lol. I say don't take that clock too literally. That's an ancient system, based on the lifestyles of people we have absolutely nothing in common with. -
I like "non-judgement", myself. But your experience sounds quite profound :-)

Simple Question: Can anyone feel their meridians?
soaring crane replied to Yasjua's topic in General Discussion
In Dutch: bindweefsel (German: Bindegewebe) English is such a PITA sometimes, lol. I hope I'm using the right English word! Do I have to explain "PITA"? Don't know if I can translate it :-) edit: ok, wiki uses the word "fascia" without the "myo". Hold the myo ...
