Niiiiiiice recipes at that link, thank you CT. My wife is going to enjoy that one Ok, that was excellent, went well with my morning coffee, thanks! I blenderize weeds, too. Around the yard, we have this stuff: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glechoma_hederacea, plus stinging nettles, hawthorn, dandelion, buckhorn and few others. Our yard isn't much much of a lawn, lol.

Maybe there's nothing to acheive and you're already as good as they come? Your meditation regime may simply be transforming your body and soul but your mind hasn't yet caught up with the new paradigm. Just a thought. Feminine energy is vastly more powerful, but somewhat mysterious and paradoxical to the western mind. Perhaps you're biginnning to tap into it? That'd be a good thing.

This kind of RV-ing? Or does it stand for something else? Something more .... Daoist?

Nice. My real suggestion is to just buy some miso and throw some stuff in with it (that's all I really do. The stuff I listed is just the kind of thing we always have in the kitchen cabinets anyway. Healthy eating begins with the shopping list).

Latest Kindle update lets you copy and paste
soaring crane replied to Tibetan_Ice's topic in The Rabbit Hole
btw, the Win 8 Kindle app does NOT have this function. Or any other functions. It's pure c-r-a-p. (this matters to me because I would really like to enjoy my Kindle purchases on my ultrabook, and although I can read them all, I can't change font, or text size, or zoom images, or look up words in the dictionary, or translate, or ... anything. Harumph) -

well, but there's a big difference between scanning and copy/pasting. When you C/P, you immediately have editable, formatable text. I really find it amazing that e-readers are permitted to enable the function. -
we get our fireflies and glow worms here around the summer solstice in June, and only for a few days. There were noticeably more this year than any year I remember in Germany. Very beautiful, enchanting :-) But as a kid growing up in NY, we used to catch dozens of them every evening, all summer long, and keep them in empty mayonaise jars that would be lit up like lanterns. We always let them go free after a while because they were really something special, and so harmless, so slow and gentle, and easy to catch. We probably kept catching the same ones every night haha.

the android app has had this for a while, too. It's quite surprising. The material is copyrighted but now you can just copy the whole text of a book into a pdf and send it out to everyone. -

I bring a thermos of mugi miso broth with added ginger and assorted chili to my groups (have started adding a little coconut oil to it, too). Someone asked to try it yesterday, and was not pleased. However, it's an excellent tonic and you get used to the flavor. -

If there's an impenetrable lid plugging it, absolutely nothing. In fact, in that case we don't even know if the dammed thing is empty or not haha.

How do the Hexagrams transform from 1-64/ Sequence Theory

haha, you know I was joking around. And I really don't know anything beyond what I've written so far. As soon as it gets intellectual/mathematical, I step aside and smile :-) -

How do the Hexagrams transform from 1-64/ Sequence Theory
soaring crane replied to Uroboros's topic in Yijing
I'm not Mr Blast but I suspect the general scholarly consensus is correct and it's mentioned in the intro to the page that the real Mr Blast linked to: "The lack of any obvious pattern to the King Wen sequence tempts me to think that the order may be influenced by the subject of the text, as described in the ninth wing, and is not purely mathematical." That means, whoever created the sequence, whether it was a Duke sitting in prison for five years, or a collection bureaucrats, the historical record came first and the sequence of hexagrams was arranged to reflect the ups and downs (yin/yang, life/death) described in the progression of the story. You'd need a phD in Sinology to even begin to make an educated guess, and to this day, no Sinolologist has come up with a definitve answer. But it doesn't really matter -- It just works :-)
