Pictures of rainbow body, footprints in stone
soaring crane replied to Tibetan_Ice's topic in Buddhist Discussion
I'm not doubting the rainbow body, but I don't think it can be photographed, and the photos on the website don't show much. The sky images are completely natural phenomena. They're known as sun dogs in lay-English. Here's one I took last year, above my village. And one with Taomeow in it: -

Two simple questions: Earth = yin? and What exactly is Personal Energy
soaring crane replied to 4bsolute's topic in General Discussion
In romantic languages, the moon is feminine -- la Luna. But in German, the moon is masculine -- der Mond. It seems a little unromantic at first, but it makes sense if you see the moon as the circle of yang in the field of yin in the taiji symbol. -

wow, that was very very interesting, and I think too, a good cultivation method to explore. Looks like a finished product, made of high-tech materials. I wonder if it would be possible to build from scratch

soaring crane posted a topic in Forum and Tech Support
Hey a tech Q If someone registers through Facebook, is it not possible for them to later sign into the website nomnally? The someone I'm talking about says he can only log in through facebook, although he has a TTB user name and password. -

They're good for most feet (barefoot is better), but see Zanshin's comment about transitioning. Vibram marketed their product without informing customers about that major detail, and a lot them developed problems. Now there's a class-action suit against the company and purchasers can get something like 15-45 $$ refunded. Did you know that, Zanshin? Probably need the receipt. Anyway, that's why they now have a bad reputation. Oh, it's no surprise that APMA is behind the class-action suit. They're been up in arms with indignation since Born to Run came out and took a big hit at their customer base.

It's both, but the punters have a really hard time admitting that Germany plays well. There will be commets all the blogosphere claiming that Germany 'didn't look convincing'. And I'm talking about after they win the final.
-
well i'm happy to see that brasil are least still in the match. that'll change once germany takes back control.

but apparently the way to win is to be skilled! Anybody else watching this thing right now? Two WC records so far: Klose's goal-scoring and the first time 5 goals have been scored in 30 minutes. A commenter at the Guardian summed it up thusly: "Now that was a fun first half. The Brazilians are a rabble, a mess, a headless, heedless, shambling shell-shocked sham of a squad, with nothing uniting them but a collective yearning to be swallowed up by a yawning earth." Apech, perhaps?

pre-game show on now, half an hour to go. Getting nervous, but not about winning/losing. A statistic was just mentioned: Fairest team in the entire tournament so far: Germany Dirtiest team in the entire tournament so far: Brazil

the point was that technological development would have continued one way or another had the US never come into existence.
