Five pages and growing. Behold the awesome power of mopai! The power to infiltrate people's minds; people who truly should be more resistant to attack.

Dao, Taiji, Wuji, Wuxing, Jing, Shen, Qi, I Jing, Kan/Li, TCM, Meridians and acupoints, yongchuan, mingmen, baihui, etc etc etc... all pre-Buddhist, all Daoist. What exactly is Buddhist anyway? -

Because the other 99 percent couldn't give two flying figs at a rolling donut? Just a hunch ;-) -
I think only 10 percent of our DNA is human. The other 90 percent is microbial, and those creatures have been ruling planet earth for billions of years. I think God ideas come from the subconscious mind getting faint impulses from the omniscient and omnipotent intelligence of the vast and vibrant microbial ocean. Sensations like reincarnation and can be easily explained with this model, too.

Good idea! Or redirect them to the 'what are watching on youtube?' thread? Because that's what most of the conversation boils down to anyway.

How about a DragonBall Z section next?

The idea that Taoist = reverse abdominal/embryonic breathing is inaccurate. there are huge differences between Taoist and Buddhist methods and beliefs. The two have very little in common when broken down to their basic foundation. however, most practices for the past few centuries have incorporated aspects of both. -

You need plug-ins for WP. There are a bunch of docx import plug-ins. Re Illustrator: Vector images aren't going work no matter what. Make sure it's all bitmap images and real text (not text converted to curves) -

You mean export an existing pdf directly to a WP page? Without losing any formatting? And all images in place? Good luck with that one, Dear. But I'd start by searching 'pdf export to WordPress', and then, 'convert pdf to WordPress'. But my experience with WP import/export is that it's probably easier to start from scratch. Can you go through MS Word? First convert the pdf to docx and then import to WP? That could work. Maybe. -

ready... Set GO! Stay ready and when you feel Set, return to ready. It's an idea I got from my newest favorite book, The Dynamics of Standing Still. It's a way of illustrating Song/Jin that resonated with me quite profoundly.

Just chill. Also, avoid 'levels'. Standing meditation: Stand up. Don't move. And when you have a chance, watch this series of videos: and buy this book: The Dynamics of Standing Still It sounds expensive but it's a bargain.

can I ask where you heard that?

Damo Mitchell Interview for TBS May 2014
soaring crane replied to Apech's topic in General Discussion
ooof, he set the bar high! Such a great example for all of us :-) I've been much more off than on the internet for a while now and it's certainly doing me good. But the internet is also a gold mine of solid information and this interview is a golden example of how valuable it can be. -
I'd like to know how you got the idea that you should 'turn off the flow of thought'. It's not good advice. The better path to pursue is the one of not-judging. And Daoist physical exercises. Very important for understanding Dao.
