hmmmm... hard to decide what I like more, the gorgeous Bagua or Manitous's gorgeous responses to the gorgeous Bagua ...

I had very similar symptoms, including that velcro thing you mention, although I would have described it differently, for a good five years after a bit of dabbling with hallucinogenics. It went away very very gradually. It's called tracers. How much time do you spend in front of a computer monitor? I'd guess that that could be the source of the sensations. And the Internet is a pretty powerful hallucinogenic.

Woh... . That is unique and gorgeous, so happy you found that!

Oh, zOOse, that was totally dumb on my part. Yes, I had the US government in mind when I made that comment! Please forgive me

Yes, but not just any saliva. That's what Andrei was pointing out. -
It's OT, but I'm curious, which version of the "food pyramid" are you referring to? It's been updated in recent years. Also, why in the world would you trust the government to do what's in your best interest, as opposed to the best interest of the food industry? It's in the government's interest to turn us into rapacious consumers of all the most profitable garbage the sundry Industries can think up and spew at us. That's how I see it, anyway. To the pyramid shape, substance below, spirit above and transformation in the middle. Haha, that's how I see it anyway. Jing, Qi, Shen.

Haha forgot about this thread. Good stuff :-) Btw, GT, you need the verb 'lie' instead of 'lay' in your first graphic

Deliberate, calculated Rebellion.
soaring crane replied to Unseen_Abilities's topic in General Discussion
Could be, I guess. I don't really think so, and I don't really believe that it's important to rebel against anything, but I realize now that it was actually the 'deliberate, calculated' part of your original post that sparked my reply. If it's 'deliberate, calculated', then it isn't spontaneous, and could be headed down the tunnel of illusion that I mentioned. It's just my feeling, which could be wrong and is certainly, as you say, not black and white. In the meantime, here are some conformists, many of whom very likely believe they're rebelling against something and would be shocked to hear that they're herding: mmmmoooooooo ... For my part, years and years of doing this stuff seems to have cemented my spirit to a little area of quiet in the middle of my gut, and I just turn inward when I feel the need. In there, I guess I really am an individual and a rebel, because I'm the only one who knows where it is -
I have to admit that I have real problems with Zen. I tried for quite a while to follow along, and never really identified what it was that conflicted with me. But I enjoyed your quote. small anecdote: A friend of mine used to tease her OCD husband whenever he'd start getting antsy about some trivial matter or other by telling him: "Such is life, and it's getting sucher every day". I believe it's an Irish saying.

I dunno if it's so easy. I think human animals are at the core, herding animals, conformists. So it's a conflict with your inner nature to begin with, and a trap of illusion on top of that. -
